I love this place… so does the family… and it’s way better than most other big and small wood fired pizza places we have visted around the Bay Area. The End!

Honestly it took forever for them to make the pizzas I ordered even though literally no one else was in the restaurant. And they added cranberries to my pepperoni pizza for some reason??? And then had to make it all over again and they screwed it up again. And they were just laughing about it? like I have a job I need to get to? It took my entire lunch break. The«regular» was still fairly small and the taste was mediocre.

One word — Amazing! I showed up shortly before closing, wondering if perhaps I have arrived too late. Not a worry! The menu was full of amazing choices, and I asked for recommendation. One person recommended the Porkitarian, the other chose the Sweet and Salty. I saw the latter had fontina cheese(definitely a favorite) and I made a snap decision. What a great choice! They made the pizza fresh in front of me, tossed r in the brick oven while I waited. I foolishly didn’t see the fact they had a Monday special to get a beer half off with a 10′ pizza purchase on Monday and Tuesday — don’t mind if I do! It took a few minutes to make(fresh food isn’t instant!) but I was able to sit back with a beer watching sports while I bided my time. Pizza was perfect, so crispy and the onion jam added an interesting touch. The only problem that I have is that I will have to wait until next week to come back to try one of the other amazing choices! The first place I have been on this trip that I absolutely have to go back to.

Disappointing. I’m in the industry and I enjoy unique and well thought out restaurants, this was neither. It’s a small hole in the wall between a chase bank and wells fargo, meant for pickup or delivery. I went to pickup pizza on a Saturday night and there was no one there except the teenagers working behind the counter; literally like a dominos. I write this review to warn anyone who cares about their food. Any five star review raving about the place is the owner trying to hold up their star value.

Best wood fired pizzeria I had visited on the West Coast… Their menu is awesome, where you can selected from a great variety of fresh ingredients. My favorite one includes olive oil, fontina and fresh mozzarella cheese, chicken, sausages, balsamic onions, fresh jalapeños, topped with fresh basil and fresh garlic… It’s fantastic… Bön appetit!

These guys have good pizza, friendly but some questionable business practices. Came in 8:35 p.m. and the place was cleaned up with two families inside eating. The sign says closes at 9 p.m. on Saturday. Was told most of their stuff was put away and we had only select choice’s. By the time we got our pizza made, they told us they were closing and we had to take it to go. IMO, they need a manager here who can keep their employees in check. And they need to understand customer service with food extends to more then just being polite. My wife and I ended up eating in the car at 9 p.m.

As other reviewers have noted, way too much spot on the pizza. I ended up with my fingers black from it. Not good.

Still on the look out for good pizza in Pleasanton and after my visit to Fahrenheit, my search continues. Came in during the lunch hour and got a pizza and green salad. I would say that the pizza is OK. Since they use flour on the board vs semolina, the flour burns to the bottom of the crust when it is in the oven. I am sure that they clean the oven regularly, however there is a great deal of burned flour on the bottom. The side salad was not make fresh and as a result there was heavily wilted and soggy lettuce in the container. After bringing this to the attention of the team they made new salads. 5 stars for service. For the record, the house«vinaigrette» is simple oil and vinegar. No emultion, no herbs. Juice oil and vinegar. What did I learn today? An A for effort, but a C for execution.

Great thin-crust pizzas, made quickly. Love the chicken cranberry pizza(yeah, sounds weird, but it’s good). Small, but good, selection of microbrews.

Came here because I love pizza on Fridays, and it had good reviews. Overall feeling though: eh. Probably won’t come back. It’s good food, for sure. But NOT for the price. Highlights: — made quick — decent selection. Two all-veggie options, and about 8 meat options — nice outdoor seating(and Pleasanton always has nice weather so it’s definitely great to be outside) Drawbacks: — PRICING. We got two small pizzas(a small is really for only 1 person. Even the«regular» size could be enough for only 1 person). No drinks. Total was $ 18! Nooo thanks — food: was good. But wouldve liked the pizza to be cooked longer. Wasn’t that hot, and crust was not as crispy as I would’ve liked. Just my preference though. We ordered the mushroom and margherita pizza. Mushroom was surprisingly sweet! Not was i was exactly looking for, but if you like sweet pizzas get that one. Margherita was pretty standard. Overall: fine place, but much better options elsewhere in the area that offer better quality pizzas and prices.

Great tasting wood-fired pizza! I had the pesto pizza which was served 10 minutes later perfectly charred but slightly salty. The crust here is light and fluffy, better than most other pizza places. They have a good selection of artisanal pizzas, including dessert pizzas, and beers on tap. You can also build your own pizza and there’s a gluten free option. It’s located next to a Chase bank but the enclosed outside seating area looked nice. Sadly we were the only ones there on a Monday night. But being located in a semi dead strip mall in Pleasanton, this didn’t surprise me. What is surprising though is that they’re not open on Sunday’s. Kind of a bummer.

NOVEMBER12 — NATIONALPIZZAWITHEVERYTHING(EXCEPTANCHOIVES) DAY «CONVENTIONALOVENORBRICKWOODBURNINGOVENPIZZA» Growing up I always thought pizza was cooked in a conventional oven. Then several years ago I went to Italy. After visiting the The Leaning Tower of Pisa I went to a pizzeria close by to this site. At this pizzeria I ordered a sausage pizza. Also this was the first time I saw pizza cooked in a wood fire brick oven. I was shocked and amazed the pizzas were cooked in less than two minutes. I always thought pizzas were cooked between 20 – 25 minutes or maybe more. In terms of taste the difference of pizzas cooked in a conventional oven and pizzas cooked in a brick wood-burning oven is the crust. The slightly charred crust around the pizza added an artisan texture but the bottom crust was soft. This pizza had the lightest crust I ever tasted not the cardboard texture I was used to back in the US. It made me want to order more pizzas. My experience in Pisa, Italy left me not only an introduction to pizzas cooked in wood burning brick oven, but also how a pizza should really taste like. The important aspect of pizza in Italy is the crust and not the toppings. I had pizza epiphany in Italy. There have been a lot of trendy pizzerias roaming in the Bay Area. One of the trend is baking pizza in a wood burning brick oven, a concept that was inconceivable in the US about 20 years ago. Three months ago my friend and I came here to eat. As we were in line we talked to a gentleman who happened to be the owner, who was pleasant to talk to. We ordered two pizzas: Fahrenheit Red Pizza and White Walker. The Fahrenheit Red Pizza was the special of the day. It consisted of slices of tomatoes and red chilli peppers. I thought the red peppers would make the pizza really spicy but it added flavor to the pizza. I preferred the White Walker, which is one of its signature pizza. Unlike the Fahrenheit Red Pizza there’s no red tomato sauce but white sauce. The white sauce along with the shredded mozzarella and sausage created a creamy texture that I found soothing to my pallet. As I enjoyed the toppings of each pizza I wondered if the toppings were masking the crust. At that time I wasn’t sure how to rate this place. So to guage my actual rating I went back here last night. This time I ordered a margherita pizza. I wanted to compare it with the margherita pizza I had in Naples, Italy several years ago. The margherita is a basic pizza, but to really judge a pizza I believe you need to see if the simplest thing can be done well. There were two differences with the margherita I had here than I had at Naples. First the margherita at Fahrenheit had slices of tomatoes, which I didn’t mind. Second and more important was the texture crust at Fahrenheit reminded me of the crust of pizzas I’ve had growing up. It wasn’t the light crust of the pizzas I’ve had in Italy. I know that seems unfair to compare the two crusts but I realized you need a dough that not only could withstand the heat of the fire from brick oven, but also is elastic to make the pizza stand out otherwise the crust of the pizza is tough and stale. Toppings don’t make the pizza delicious the crust does. I love the concept of a brick oven wood fire pizza, but the crust of pizza at Fahrenheit Wood Fire Pizza wasn’t that exceptional to warrant a great pizza despite its creative toppings.

I was in the area and was craving pizza so I decided to try this place. It’s located in a strip mall, the sign wasn’t lit so we almost missed it, it’s nothing fancy but semi clean. You order as soon as you come in. The guy takes out a pre made small ball of dough and puts your toppings on as you watch. I ordered the 10-inch bbq and the 7-inch Porkatarian, along with the Apple and Gorgonzola salad. The guys brought out the salad immediately, but we had to send it back because they didn’t add the«candied roasted walnuts». We got the salad back and it looked completely different from the first salad. On the second salad they drizzled olive oil and vinegar on top, and came with a side of dressing and walnuts. The walnuts however were not candied or roasted. The pizzas were sub-par. Tasted like something I could have made in my own kitchen. The Porkatarian was better simply because it was warmer than the bbq. I wouldn’t say the flavors blew me away or left me wanting to come back to this place. We spent $ 34 on 2 pizzas, a tiny salad, and a Coke. The price we paid for these items was not reasonable, unless you consider that this place is in an affluent area. Next time I’m just going to drive half a mile down the road and eat at CPK.

Very good pizza! I found the experience unique, the staff very good uplifted the experience, and the food worthy of repeat visits. Next time, I think I’ll stick to a 7′ pizza for myself as the larger one was way too much food. The co-owner is a fan of the superhero«Moon Knight»(I think I have issue number 1) and that was the title of the pizza special for the day, too! It did not fail to please.

Wow, best pizza I’ve had in a while, and definitely the best chipotle pizza place in the bay area. While there are a lot of these pre-made dough, add your own topings type places, the real difference with Fahrenheit is the wood fired-ness, as opposed to the Quiznos toaster you’ll find at a lot of these places. The specialty menu list is pretty substantial, and they have plenty of toppings if for some freak reason you don’t find something worthwhile there. What I really enjoyed was the pizza of the month concept, currently named for one of my favorite comic book characters, Moon Knight(even if olives are gross). I also really appreciate the grab and go aspect of this place. I was in a crunch(lots of meetings this week) and so the quick turnaround here was appreciated. Even ran into other coworkers in the same need. As for the pizza, I went with the Porkatarian: a generous amount of shredded mozzarella that really made the pizza thick, a delicious red sauce that had flavor which hasn’t always been the case with pizza places here. And I love meaty pizzas — though I did consider asking for additional Canadian bacon. What was also nice was the free ranch for dipping my crust in. I was able to pack away half of this for lunch, and the second half for dinner. Even reheated in the over it was mighty tasty. I will definitely be coming back, enjoying some East Bay beer on tap, and either going for the Hawaiian or a modified Cheesesteak.

Tasty pizzas made fresh right before your eyes. Be prepared that if you come with a hungry appetite that the pizzas don’t run in your average«i can eat all the things» American sizes. The biggest size they make is 10″, I’m assuming so that they can serve up their fresh pizzas to their customers in a quick and timely manner during their busy hours. You gotta love a place that has a great topping menu, a brick oven right there where you can see your pizza going in, and people who love their job.

Customer service is decent, I have no complaints; our pizzas were made in front of us and came out really quick! Seating inside and out with lots of pizza options including building your own! I have to say that prices are a little iffy for me, a ten inch pizza for $ 10? Damn! Little Caesars just looks better and better… but this place definitely makes up for their pricing with the flavor they have. I ordered the All American(chicken, sausage, corn, jalepenos, etc.) and was totally in love through every BBQ’d bite — if only the crust was thicker! :( Definitely will be back to try more pizza options and check out their half priced beer nights!

I DIGIT! Yep, IMO, this place is what Pizza Pieology should be! Same concept, only a way better. I ate here around 1pm with a coworker, and had no issues parking. It’s within a small business complex next to Chase, and the main entrance is via the patio. It’s an average size place with about six tall wooden tables, and two t.v. monitors. The dining and patio area both appeared in good clean condition. We ordered the: ~ Hawaiian Retreat(10 inch at $ 10.45): Fresh dough with red sauce, mozzarella, Canadian bacon(aka ham to us Americans), and pineapple chunks. They kinda burnt the crust a bit, but that wasn’t a big issue. The ham was chunky and the chucky pineapple sweet! The crust was light and fluffy. Almost like eating fresh naan with toppings. ~ White Walker Pizza(10 inch Special for $ 9.95): Fresh dough with white sauce, mozzarella, sausage chunks, and sweet red onions. This was a winner! The crust came out light and the sausage had a nice herbal flavor. They didn’t skimp out on the cheese either. The red onions and buttery crust all together made for a great combo. Makes me wonder what the BBQ Chicken pizza tastes like. I’ll order that next time! They’ve got a good selection of pizzas between $ 8 and $ 12, seven inch or ten inch sizes only. The menu board is descriptive, and the staff working there counter were really down to earth, great service! I totally recommend giving this place a try if you want a fast simple pizza. Notes: ~ They also offer«build your own», dessert pizzas, beer, and wine. :) Enjoy!

Wood fired pizza and beer… yes please! I paid $ 10 for a 10-inch Chicken Pesto Pizza and it was delicious. Definitely enough food for two people. They have local beer on tap and on Mondays and Tuesdays it’s half off! I had fun chatting with the friendly employees and I will be back!

Finding good thin crust Pizza since moving to the far reaches of East Bay has been difficult and I have been continually let down so finding Fahrenheit and trying it a couple of weeks ago was a nice surprise. My Husband and I stopped in for late Lunch and were greeted by friendly staff, the set up is like a production line where you select your size, toppings and watch them make and bake it before your very eyes. I like to know what’s going on with my food so having this set up is a huge plus for me. As the Pizza’s are thin crust they are cooked quickly in the wood burning oven and brought to your table for you. — 8″ Chicken Pesto -$ 8.45( ) — 10″ Hawaiian Retreat Pizza — $ 11.95( ) Each crust had a nice char on and was lightly Salted around the edges, the toppings were evenly distributed and plentiful. My Husband who usually finds some negative about his meal kept quiet the entire duration and finished his Pizza before I was even half done with mine so I can only assume he enjoyed it too. Beer and Wine is also available. Monday and Tuesday half price Beer with Pizza purchase.
