I knew Lucy from Unilocal and i decided to try it out. I was so amazed by her precise haircut, how she model my hair and how she came up with a haircut that is suitable with my round face. She also listened to me carefully and worked with my hair slowly. I really like her! She is amazing! Thank you Lucy

Lucy is one AMAZING woman! My hair was destroyed from tape in extension for several different reasons (had micro loop exts in past it was fine). I didn’t know what to do, i was embarrassed and wasn’t sure who to go to to have it fixed. Well recently i found Lucy on Unilocal so i took my daughter to her and she transformed her so i thought she was going to be the one that could do the same for me. SHE PULLED OFF A MIRACLE PEOPLE! Lucy pampered me, i seriously felt so comfortable and didn’t even worry at all about the out come. I have walked out of salons CRYING, multiple times in the past, and not once did a worrisome thought cross my mind. I enjoyed conversing with Lucy, unlike other hair dressers who tend to blah blah blah just to fill up the time, Lucy is interesting and REAL, she cares about her clients. One thing i appreciate about Lucy is SHE DOES NOT SUGGEST/​PERSUADE OR AGREE UPON A SERVICE JUST FOR A PROFIT! THANK YOU GOD THERE IS HONEST GOOD PEOPLE STILL! I have had this happen to me before and it can be devastating. In fact Lucy is BEYOND fair when it comes to price and the quality of her work you will seriously find no one else like her.

Lucy not only gave me one of the best cuts I’ve ever had, but is such a kind, inspiring, self-​made person. It was the first time I’d ever felt like I was working with a real artist who cared about how the hair was shaped, how it moved, how versatile the cut would be, and what worked for my particular hair. She’s incredibly skilled and gives a killer acupressure scalp massage. Needless to say, I’ve found my new stylist for sure!

I’m from OC and had to book someone near our hotel with reasonable prices for a wedding I was attending. Lucy not only did a great job, but had great conversation. If I ever move to Pleasant Hill Lucy would be my girl.

This morning, Lucy gave my hair back its life! I had grown my hair out in hopes of putting back in some permanent waves. Months went by and I never bothered to get the waves put back in. I love having short hair but am so afraid to let anyone touch my hair. Even worse, I allowed my bf to accompany me to my last chop 2 years ago and it ended up being so bad that he never looks forward to me chopping my hair off again. But I needed a change. The past year had been a super long journey for me and I needed to spruce myself up. I brought in two pictures for Lucy to give her an idea of what I wanted. A little over an hour later, I looked amazing!!! Lucy gave so much time to the details of my hair and it all paid off. I have Asian hair and a lot of it. Since I have had so many bad cuts because of my type of hair, I rarely give people credit for a great cut because it usually isn’t as amazing as I had hoped for, including salons that charge over $ 100 just for a cut. Lucy is such an inspiring person and I have so much respect for her and her skills. I recommend her highly to those who need a haircut and a change. Just trust her! You won’t be sorry.

Lucy is THE BEST eyebrow waxer that I have ever found !!!
She isn’t the type of stylist to finish the job in just 5 minutes but carefully takes the time to wax, pluck and shape my eyebrows to perfection.
Even when my eyebrows grow in super bushy (being busy with school and since I live far) when I do see her, she ALWAYS amazes me with transformation of my brows. I WISH I took before and after pictures of my eyebrows this last time I went to see her, but to sum it up… it looked like I had 4 eyebrows going on… or like two thick caterpillars above my eyes.
Anyway, in the past there have been times when I accidentally pluck one hair too many (you know you’ve done this in the past) and SHE FIXES IT !!!
For those who do not know her, LUCY IS a PERFECTIONIST and perfection is what you will get if you see her. She is very motherly, caring and truly loves what she does. You can tell by the way she treats you and doesn’t care how long it takes to get the job done to her high standards. I guarantee that once you give Lucy a try to whatever your beauty needs, you won’t regret it !!!
I have been a client to Lucy faithfully for the past 9+ years and followed her from Regis to Colours. Even after I have moved to San Jose, I still travel to see her because she is worth it !!!

1. Call ahead to make an appointment with her. Call even if it is just a consultation since she will most likely be busy with a customer if you simply walk-​in.
2. Thursdays and Sundays she is closed
3. She does not accept credit cards

This is my very first Unilocal review and I’ve been a member for quite some time. Yes! Lucy is THAT good that I just had that urge to log in and give her a review.
As a perfectionist, Lucy, through her creative and talented vision, always works from her heart and it shows! This is a key ingredient others simply have not shown me. Every time I stand up from her chair, I feel so beautiful and confident. From haircuts, highlights, perms and styling, even eyebrows… I’ve had them all with Lucy and she is superb!
I would not hesitate a second to recommend Lucy to anyone! You will not regret it!

I LOVE LUCY! Not only has she magnificently kept my hair updated and beautiful for the past seven years, she has become a treasured friend. I can confidently refer my friends and family. The friends I’ve brought to her had difficult hair to work with. She was able to transform them beautifully. An expert in color and will never turn away a difficult challenge. Last week I sent a neighbor to her for a cut. Not only did she cut, but she colored, styled and fashioned it so professionally. It was amazing.
I love how she not only cuts, but also educates her clients on how to take care of and style their own hair, cleans up eyebrows and what color fits you best.
I used to color my own but never again. Her highlights are unbelievably precise and calculated to look so natural. I love the years of experience and a passion for what she does.
