Hedda’s Skin Therapy

I first discovered Hedda my freshman year of high school when my severe cystic acne was at it’s worst. Before I started my regular treatments with her there was never a time when I was able to be calm and not stressed, which only added to the problem of my acne. Hedda’s facials are a relaxing experience which I believe is integral in caring for the kind of cystic acne I had. I looked forward to my appointments because they promised that hour of relaxation; a time in which I felt truly pampered and cared for. Even if it was only an hour every three weeks, it was enough to change me. After my skin began to clear up, I knew I had made the right decision.
I had tried so many treatments and medications, I would have done anything to clear up my face. The calm and relaxing setting helped to provide me with a place I knew I could trust to take care of my skin. Instead of «drying» the acne out of me, or «scrubbing» the acne off it was really carefully and properly treated. I could feel that she really cared about helping me and would do whatever was necessary to keep my skin looking as healthy as possible. After my first appointment I knew I had found the right solution to my painful cystic acne.
Thanks to my very first treatment with Hedda, I have been a faithful customer for eight years now and in those eight years I have seen a marvelous transformation. My friends and family have all commented on how beautiful and healthy my skin looks. I am so proud of my results that I happily boast the fact that I was able to take my senior portraits without having to airbrush or doctor the photos to remove pimples, blemishes, or scars. People who meet me now never knew I had such terrible acne. I feel like a new person, and until my treatments with Hedda I had been hidden behind the painful acne. Now I feel more confident and comfortable with myself and I know I would not be the person I am today if Hedda had not been there for me.
