I love this place and have been a few times. This past weekend me and a girlfriend went in to have a few drink. We asked the amazing bar tender if we could start a tab close it with cash. He said no problem and we went on with our night. At the end of the night we paid our tab with cash and left. The next more I check my bank account and there was multiple charges from the bar!!! I call right away and told I needed to wait until Monday and the charges should go away. I was fine with that and actually waited until Tuesday morning. When the charges went through, I called into the bar. The man on the phone was extremely rude and wouldn’t stop yelling at me and saying that«I must not understand what he is saying and he is done spending his time talking to me» I’ve called a few more times and nothing … All I want is my money back so I’m not changed twice for the same stuff!

When I first got in to this place, I didn’t think I was going to like it as much as I did. The staff made it for me. They were extremely friendly, especially, Ida. She made us these grape Gatorade shots that were addictive. The people there seemed really cool and the vibe was casual. I must hit this place up again next time I’m back in the bay.

This Irish pub is a College Park High School hang out. I ran into my girlfriend who I haven’t seen in 5 years here and couldn’t be any happier. Everyone here is usually and a pretty good mood and very welcoming. They have pool shuffleboard and some nights they do karaōke.

Cool place, spacious. I was looking for darts and pool, I found em. Bartender was a little green, but no big deal. Clean bathrooms, like insanely clean.

I left another sports bar after receiving horrible service(blue 42) to come here and watch the Warriors game — wow, what a difference! Although it’s much smaller the staff is attentive, the bartender acknowledged me within 2 minutes even though they were very busy. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get a refill on my drink. My only complaint is that the place is small. They have about four pool tables(maybe more). The prices are reasonable, I will definitely be returning for the next Warriors game.

I know what you all must be thinkin about me. All he do is «Drink Beer, Wear Chains, Eat Chinese Food, and go to Bars.» and all I say if you’re thinking that about me is… Heck Yea Bro! As my saying goes…“The best way to know about a scene is by doing what the locals do!” and Farrington’s is no exception to the rule. Here is my review and kinda mixed feelings about this joint. 3÷20÷2016 My brova came from Tracy and we was chillin watching the Warriors game… we all know the outcome to that game. anyway we both was in a social mood and wanted to do something on the local scale. Nothing to posh, or pretentious. Something kinda down home like and filled with cool casual people. Having been to pretty much every local bar and or pub in the area(true story!) Farrington’s was one that I been too before but not as a «Yelper» or on a Saturday night. So after checking some reviews and looking at some pics(for the clubbing aspect of the bar) I gave this place a thumbs up. Atmosphere 5⁄5 Service 3⁄5 Cleanliness 2⁄5 This place is located in a little strip mall with Safeway, Starbucks, Wells Fargo and a few other little small businesses. You will notice it by all the neon signs in the windows and of course the bussiness sign. When you walk up here be prepared to be patted down and asked for your ID and pay if you a dude. But if you a female or hoochie mama with leggings, cleavage, stilettos and two other friends… you by pass all that. The joys of being a woman I guess. The bouncers are kinda sarcastic but I don’t let that get to me, I’m here to have a few drinks and enjoy my time. The bars is fully stocked and even have some«delights» that aren’t commonly found at bars and pubs this side of the east bay«fernet and 805» but the bar service kinda.lacks. Bartenders catering to their friends first, flirting and taking shots with people. Hardly charging some, and upselling others… lions, tigers and bears«Oh My» I dislike being upsold when one, I know bar politics, two the person next to me orders the samething and they are charged $ 3 bucks less. no bueno yo! And these bartenders and bar backs have the worst cleaning skills, like I guess they like soaking wet tips and to serve the partons at bars they can’t even lean on without getting wet. They have to really work on that. But aside from that and when I do get served, my cocktails have been pretty good here, they know what they are doing. And not to mention the beers are tapped perfectly. The men’s bathroom is… atrocious! Like«Wow» they need to start all over, It’s messed up and honestly I would be embarrassed as a business owner to let it go like that. Hopefully they fix this problem, the dj they had that night kept the crowd going and was consistant, everyone was moving and dancing and having fun, as a fellow dj, I gave her the proper respect. She was honestly the saving grace here. Without a proper dj controlling the crowd I propabubly would of left. In conclusion, some good moments, and some not so good moments. But seeing drunk people get loose and having a good time is always entertaining. This place is located off Contra Costa Blvd. Smart and Final and Caspers Hot Dogs are close by if you need landmarks to go by. I think I will go back, but if something else came up I wouldn’t be sad about missing out on this place. But my opinion is only mine, be your own judge and if you happen to need a casual drink avoid this place between Thursday — Saturday between 9pm — 12am. But if you like the ratchedness then go between those hours!

So my experience automatically changed from a good one to «I’m not coming back to this place again.» Mr Hose, the security guy accused me of carrying a gun and patted me down after I just went back to my car to have a cigarette. These were his exact words And he was quite blunt«you might be carrying a gun cause you look suspicious, you might be up to something.» Why again? Cause I’m brown skinned, middle eastern looking? Talk about profiling. And besides, why would you even talk to a customer like that? Most importantly a regular one. I understand its their job to keep everyone safe but it could have been done in a more polite way. Talk about profiling! I didn’t really felt welcome here anymore. Not coming here again.

Do not go to this dump of a dive bar. I’ve been there a few times and the Guinness is always sour, the service is awful and there is no food there at all. If you want food you have to bring your own. My recent experience was particularly unpleasant when I was there to watch the college football championship with my boyfriend and some co-workers. We had already been for a few hours and upon opening the door the use the ladies bathroom I got a very aggressive couple of taps on my right shoulder from a joke of a security guy that barked«I need to see your ID». For a moment I thought he was joking as I literally had my hand on the bathroom door about to go in. I walked back to where we were sitting to give him my ID and upon giving it to him he managed to blurt out«too many people here tonight»! I couldn’t care less what he had to say and continued to watch as he carded no one else in the bar other than a few who were walking in. I understand that I look young and you have to ID people but I in no way did I appreciate the way he went about it. Also, just FYI the crowd there gets pretty rough starting around the evening so beware. I will not be returning to this garbage place and recommend not wasting your time here.

Went to Farrington’s for a friend’s birthday party. Ended up having a very bad experience. As a designated driver, I opened a tab and ordered a Sprite for myself and a jack & coke for my friend. Long story short, they charged my card $ 20 and misplaced it. When I attempted to try to get it back again the following day(hoped they had found it), the woman that spoke to me, accused me of cashing out and was very rude, even though I was speaking to her politely!

Never heard of this place or even knew there was a bar in the area until my brother *DJFOX* worked here on a Friday night to spin. This place seems very chill and laid back. They have lots of pool tables on one side, the dance floor on the opposite side, and the bar right in the middle of it all. I’m sure I’ll definitely be back here but only if my brother is spinning since he played all the good music that night and got the whole place packed with people dancing everywhere! There is a dj that works on Friday nights who I need to check out as well since he was really nice and I believe he plays hip hop on those nights.

Ehh… came here with a friend yesterday just wanting to find a good bar in the Pleasant Hill area. The bar tenders are nice and they definitely know the ‘regulars’. Food is not available but people seem to order from Mountain Mike, Thai, Sushi place next door and they are encouraged to bring the food in. Two things that stood out last night, some dudes got into a shouting match and the Bartender had to break it up and well there’s Juliana… I did get mildly harassed by this regular named Juliana… she was touching all the patrons at the bar. Everyone was pretty shocked. all in all, probably a descent place during major sporting events.

Wednesday nights are where it’s at! DJ Jessica plays the best music and always tries to fit in every request for karaōke, she is a sweetheart! The bartenders are super nice, fun, and will always take care of you — honestly the best service I’ve ever gotten at a bar before! Plus everyone who works there is super attractive: P

This is a chill place to go to, but NOT my first choice. I live literally walking distance away from this bar and I’ve seen all the negative sides of this bar. First of all, there’s at least three to six police cars parked in shopping center. Yeah it’s fine to have them there just in case but it’s an overload. Most of the time the police officers are at the Starbucks getting free coffee. They look lazy to me, because they could be doing more than just parked at a shopping center when there’s surveillance cameras everywhere. The Safeway closes early next to the bar over the weekend due to drunk people vandalizing the store or stealing items. The Safeway is losing money because of all the people that can’t hold their liquor. The nations is the only thing that stays open in the shopping center late over the weekends. I have so much respect for them because they get all the crazy people at late hours. Also, the drunk people starting fights and being obnoxiously loud is worse than downtown walnut creek. The only positive thing I can say about this topic is the pleasant hill cops aren’t complete assholes like the walnut creek ones. On a positive note, you can sing karaōke. Also there’s lots of chairs around the karaōke area to have a large audience if wanted. Yes you can play pool and it’s very cheap to play. The size of the bar is very small. Many times I feel as if I’m being cramped in one spot and there’s not enough bartenders on staff all the time I’m there. Safe to say, I only go there on the weekdays!

So I am editing my review since I did not realize I was reviewing the wrong place originally. This place was great even on a Wednesday night! My friends and I came here to get a break from the week. They had dancing and some great drinks. I am glad that had Angry Orchard Apple Cider for me while my friends got some beers. We had a blast dancing and the vibe here was great. Nothing trashy at all and they would play any song you requested. We were dancing for a while and just chatting it up. I believe we stayed till last call which means you know you are having a good time. I would definitely come back here again considering on a Wednesday night it was filled with all the nice and friendly locals.

I don’t spend a lot of time here, but when I do… They make the best bloody mary ever. Other than that, pool, darts, watching drunk people sing(talk about liquid courage), it’s a good time.
