I paid the guy like $ 100 to do an appraisal and I even told him how much the ring was worth as it was from a very expensive store — his items he charges entirely too much for.
Anyhow I get the appraisal back — he said it would be a couple days — i had to call and call in order to finally get it. Paid for it — picked it up — did come with photos for insurance purposes etc. Anyhow couldn’t even use appraisal for a number of reasons. 1. He spelled my name wrong 2. On a very large cocktail ring with obvious stones he didn’t even put the correct number of stones. 3. Was a $ 3,000 ring and he appraised it at like $ 500 or something ridiculous even after I told him the value 4. His photos were completely blurry
Long story short I lost $ 100 — 2 days of time dealing with him and had to throw his paperwork in the garbage in the end. Terrible customer service — bad attitude — and overpriced
