Had a five star experience just because of Jordan. Will be coming back just because of her bubbly personality. Make sure to ask for her when you come in!

I loved this place! The ambiance was beautiful. They have a beautiful bouquet of roses in the center of the room. Steve Fields is great for all occasions. I noticed people celebrating a special day like myself, some in business meetings and others just for a good meal. The lamb chops were beautifully seasoned and not dry at all. The lobster mashed potatoes were probably the best I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who will listen. Also I can’t remember my waiter name, but he made my visit there even better. They even gave us a card with everyone signature thanking us and brought out a piece of cake for us to enjoy. I will definitely be back.

So I had my bday here… no embarrassing songs or anything like that. Clean Had a server named Jordan Awesome she was perfect. Red crab legs so soft and awesome 3 for 62 $.a lil pricey but to be expected. Lobster tail chewy(sliver Fox) makes the best ones. But everything was real good lobster potatoes, lobster soup, mojito not as good as I would of liked but all and all I would go back.

Went there last night at 5, Called earlier in the week and was told we did not need reservation that early. Got there and was told we were not informed correctly and could not be seated. The manager was quite rude and said he was sorry, then proceeded to say«well not really that sorry» since it was xmas we should have reserved. Instead of trying to get us set up in the lounge he rudely walked away and we pushed our own tables together. Certainly someone I would not like on my team, let alone in a management position. We were 7 in all, and did have a nice dinner, good service, but the lack of professionalism sort of put a damper on it.

Went here for a business dinner and had a good time. The menu was a rather pricey and unfortunately I didn’t think that the food completely reflected the price. I had the prime rib and it was good, nothing wrong with it, however it wasn’t anything special. Wine list was very good which was nice.

I have been going to the lounge for years now. it’s dark and has a chill vibe. I love that! I’ve had steaks from most of the top rated steakhouses in Dallas, and I can honestly say that SF has one of the best. it is perfectly cooked every single time and melts in your mouth. The lobster is incredible as well. they offer a great happy hour menu that allows you to order half price appetizers as well as drink specials. if you enjoy a more chill vibe and want quality food then I most definitely recommend their lounge. *watch your iPhone if you place it on the bar. mine screws up everytime. has something to do with the warm lighting. I have to keep mine in my purse to work correctly. don’t believe me? give it a try…

This is a beautiful restaurant. It’s perfect for a date night. My boyfriend and I were the youngest couple there. Although I don’t mind as long as the food is good! They have a beautiful bar off to one side of the restaurant with a piano player to entertain. We ordered off their restaurant week menu and unfortunately it’s not exactly friendly to those with a gluten allergy. Their wedge salad was ok. It came with a weird spicy dressing on it. The dressing wasn’t bad, it just didn’t go well with this salad. For my main meal I got the filet done medium rare. When it came out it was more medium. It was about 5 – 6 ounces and had a decent flavor. It was good but not my favorite. Service was great. The hostess was very friendly and sweet. Our server was nice but he pried a little too much into our personal lives. Overall a nice place for a date night. I would definitely recommend stopping in here.

We came here on our anniversary and first impression, the place was very romantic: dim lights and live piano playing in the lounge. It was the perfect ambiance except for the decals. I think the decals/writings on the wall cheapens the décor a bit. Food was great. Hubby ordered NY strip, he asked for medium but his came out Medium rare. He still enjoyed it and he loved the baked potato loaded. I had the half stuffed lobster which was good– a bit too creamy for my liking but I still enjoyed it. The Mac and cheese was OK, not as good as the reviewers mentioned. For dessert, we had a HUGE carrot cake! We had to cut dinner short and asked to make everything to go since our 3 month old started to cry– he must’ve been jealous that we were enjoying amazingly good food

Two stars seems kind of harsh. But the more I revisit the experience in my mind — saying this place is A-OK would be a lie. Setup: Sullivan’s Steakhouse, but dirtier, with poorer service and un-timed meals. Generally speaking, at a white table cloth seafood and steak joint, you’ll see things like swarm service, crumbing between courses, marking the table as time-indicator for when a steak hits the fire and should soon hit the table, dessert offered at a certain time to allow the crem brulee to be selected if desired… At bare minimum you should see promptly bussed tables and clean floors around you, and your server should greet you within 2 minutes of being sat and then check on you within proper time increments during your meal to refresh drink orders and update you on food status without interrupting your experience. There should be a pre-shift before every dinner service during which the kitchen cooks a serving of each standard course and the kitchen staff taste it to ensure quality, consistency, and to be able to describe it properly and offer wine pairing. I know cause I went through the training. It may be different at Steve Field’s Steak & Lobster to some degree, but I’m willing to bet I’m not far off. The floor was filthy in general and you could tell the service areas weren’t well cared for or cleaned up after. The food took an inappropriate amount of time to come out and we found ourselves finishing our appetizers, our bread, my salad, and being left with an uncomfortable stretch waiting for our entrée during which time I lost my appetite. The appetizer — a beef crustini — was unappealing until we added salt and pepper; But as it is served, is not good. The wedge salad would be improved with a traditional bleu cheese dressing instead of whatever they have created, which is just… off. The massive wedge of iceberg I was served, also, was not quite ripe, mostly rock hard, and too bitter. I had to really apply some elbow grease to cut it with a steak knife — We’re talking about lettuce here. My husband’s bone-in filet was 14oz — that’d be 8oz of bone and 6oz steak. For the price, no thanks. The unfortunate result of poor butchering of this particular cut was that it was mostly gristle. It was cooked perfectly to medium rare, and the flavor was decent, but you pay to have a well-handled steak with perfect flavor and good service at a place like this. And you expect to get what you pay for. The $ 9 mac & cheese side dish was so bland it may as well have been noodles and milk topped with bread crumbs. Dear chef: You must use salt. It’s not an option to just skip it altogether. And some actual cheese in the mac & cheese would be appreciated. My pecan crusted trout was one of the most disappointing dishes I’ve ever had. At $ 27.00, the dish has flimsy skin on one side, and flavorless pecan crust on the other, with a sparse drizzle of some sauce that needed to drown this fish to make it edible. The mashed potatoes it came with were the only part I enjoyed. The steamed vegetables were far too aldente and — again — SALT, please. Just some, any at all. How can you be okay with serving food with no flavor?

I made a reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday and he loved it! Our first impressions were… WOW! As soon as you walk in, you hear live music, chatter, and the laughing of people enjoying their time in the bar area. We were seated in the dining area which was on the other side of the building, and though you can hear people and music, it wasn’t too overwhelming where you couldn’t hear the person you were talking to. Obviously looking through the menu, things are pretty pricey, however we were celebrating a special occasion so spending a little money didn’t hurt. My boyfriend had the 20 oz. prime bone-in ribeye with 6 oz. lobster tail with asparagus & lobster mashed potatoes(he eat’s A LOT lol), and I had the Maple Glazed Scallops. The ribeye was tender and each bite melted in your mouth like butter. Can I say A-M-A-Z-I-N-G?! Both meals were delicious. The maple glazing on the scallops was prepared in a way I’ve never had, and it totally blew me away. I liked how it was on a bed of sauteed spinach and the scallops were definitely cooked to perfection. I substituted the mashed potatoes for the smoked cheddar & mac. I couldn’t believe how great tasting everything came out to be. Hands down, one of the best places I’ve been to in the DFW metroplex. Our waiter was also very knowledgeable with the menu, and offered us assistance with anything we may have wanted or wanted to sub. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our time there together and will definitely be going back, soooon :)

Restaurant week success. Crab chowder, lobster and key lime pie was some of the best food I have ever had

Overall a 4.5, here’s why: Came in Saturday around 5:45 on August 15th, 2015, for restaurant week. First time here. Small and dark setting, not loud at all, granted we we’re there relatively early(only time available). Service — 5+ — Our waiter was quick, friendly, suggestive, and met all our needs. No snide remarks or faces when we wanted to take small portions of leftovers. App — 3 — lobster and crab dip, super tasty but maybe a tad bit too much mayo? Nice lil toasted bread for dipping We went with the 3 course meal Starter — 5 — crab corn chowder was amazing compared to the chowder I had on Wednesday at capital grill. They actually put crab on top yum. Main — 4 — sea bass topped w crab meat. Came w great mashed potatoes and huge asparagus. Dessert — 4 — even though I’m not a fan of carrot cake, we got really large slices that were rich in taste. My group also had the crab cakes and lobster tail and they loved it. Price $ 35 per makes this the best deal for restaurant week. Nice change of pace too since we normally only go to steak houses.

Back again for another birthday celebration supper. Great timing to have her birthday and the Dallas TX area Restaurant Week at the same time. We got supper for two for a lot less than regular price. Still expensive and nice place to spend money. Convenient to make reservation using via their website. Arrived early and was promptly seated away(at our request) from the too loud bar/piano noise. Great waiter who took care of our needs. Repeat visit next year or whenever one has a special reason to celebrate something.

*** Always go to a place and have a drink at the bar and apps if you are plannig a special occassion before you show up and have your special day ruined. Like… an anniversary. We must have a higher standard for fine dining than the positive reviews that have been left The NO’s… Loud Too many tables for that much square footage. Crowded. Bar –cannot hear the live piano player. Lots of echo and the noise level is scream at each other to hear. Blew that off and went to our table to enjoy a cocktail there. Hostess wanted to seat us at a small table like we were at Dennys against a wooden beam. Seriously my husband called a week in advance to reserve and told them it was for Anniversary. Server– lets just leave it at I called today to voice my disappointments and I was told by Jodie that yes, I had just described the fellow and he was one of their newest servers and yes, he was a bit rough in his delivery BUT they wait for the customers to tell them? I told her the service did not match their pricing on the menu. This young man should be working at McDonalds. Also was informed you need to specify a booth over a table and many senior folks like tables over booths, Really? where are they maybe in a walker or a wheelchair. We are still walking and young in our 60’s and I would think Hostesses would ask you table or booth for Anniversary seating. Hmm… Server…Came and grabbed our other place settings off of the booth table. Never said hello or I am your server let me get this out your way. He did the best his personality would carry him I think but he had a healthy dose of rough around the edges and smart —- to go with himself. None of that kind southern acoommodating charm was running rampant with him and definitely No Respectful attitude was imparted. Jodie has Mr Steve Fields call — — what a smoozer. He just fluffed around the huge error of someones idea to put this server into his business. You know the usual joking and sidestepping, like did you like your cake(yes it was free but the whole meal should have been) after the crummy service we got. All Steve Fields wanted to do was glaze over it and ask if we would be back and ask for him and he would come out and say hello. Dont hold your breath Mr. Fields. Meanwhile we really finished off the disappointment at Fields and went to Frisco and had after dinner drinks at Perry Steakhouse and Grill at their bar… now that was more like it!

Great service and food at a reasonable price for the quality. The Ribeye steak was cooked medium rare to perfection and melted in my mouth. Others at the table were also quite satisified with their crabcakes, stuffed lobster, and tuna. The desserts were a little too sweet and rich for us, but we prefer desserts that aren’t as sweet as well. The live music they have on some of the evenings is classy.

What a wonderful anniversary dinner! Started with drinks in the lounge area, with the piano music and glowing red bar, it was lovely. Not thrilled with the drink service as I didn’t get what I asked for(asked for lemon drop martini and got some sort of frozen daiquiri?) But ambiance made up for it, and I drank it anyway. Moved into the dining room where we sat with our daughter in a large booth along the back wall, which was very private and quiet. Another small complaint was that I asked in the initial reservation for a private booth and they began to sit us at a table in the middle of the room, which my husband quickly complained about. But that is the last of the negatives as Kenny, our server, approached to take drink orders and discussed specials. He brought us the fresh focaccia bread with the garlic chili oil OMG. My daughter said she could bathe in that oil, and she was so right! We ordered a few glasses of wine and began to enjoy our stone crab claws. They were chilled, fresh and delicious with a mustard based dipping sauce(similar to Truluck’s sauce, but thicker). We then moved onto salads, having the wedges and a shrimp cocktail. The wedge salad is absolutely huge, which had we’d known would have only gotten one. The shrimp cocktail was one of the best I’ve ever had, with huge shrimp and an amazingly spicy horseradish cocktail sauce. Our daughter had an 8oz filet with garlic mashed potatoes, which was delicious but slightly over cooked, I had the 12oz lobster tail with creamed corn, which was to die for and my husband had the veal porterhouse, which frankly was the most tender piece of meat we’d ever tasted. We all shared our entrees and sides and loved everything! We ended dinner with coffee and espresso and a carrot cake that honestly was again — yes — the best we’d ever tasted! It was covered with nuts and a salted caramel sauce that made you want to lick your fingers! We also had a 2010 bottle of Mt. Brave Mount Veeder wine from Napa… delicious! Kenny was the perfect waiter, not rushing us and giving his honest opinion on entrée choices, which we always appreciate. It was the nicest evening we’ve had in a long time. Expensive, but worth every penny!

Craving a good steak and based on reviews, I made a reservation from the Unilocal app. We didn’t use the valet since we quickly found a parking space. The purple light illuminating the exterior was nice. We still had to wait a few minutes in the lobby upon arrival. The bar area was crowded and included a pianist. Seating was cramped. Servers and patrons continuously bumped my handbag that was on my chair because I don’t place it on the floor. Food: the appetizers were the highlight for me — jumbo shrimp cocktail and pan-seared jumbo crab cake were delicious! Bread and butter was okay. I ordered the Prime Porterhouse and whipped sweet potatoes. Wasn’t impressed with either. Hubby ordered a Filet and creamed sweet corn. I tried his corn and didn’t like it. Beverages: good. When we left, I didn’t feel like I just ate an almost $ 200 meal(after tip). I would come back only for the appetizers and tasty beverages.

I must say the atmosphere with this place is very nice. The service was very good. I ordered the sea bass and asparagus with mashed potatoes and for desert I had the carrot cake. The bread is very good but the oil you dip the bread in has a bite to it. I enjoyed the food it had a lot of butter sauce over the sea bass.

GREAT Restaurant Week Experience! 3 courses. $ 35. You can’t beat that. I started my dining experience off the RIGHT way with their Spinach Salad. Probably the best spinach salad I have ever had. EVERYTHING was perfect about it. From the toasted pecans to the tangerines and that HOT bacon dressing was AMAZING. I cleaned THAT plate. I tasted my friend’s crab cake. she got TWO which was a surprise and they were HUGE! Now, THIS was a crab cake. HUGE lumps of crab, no fillers, not a lot of breading. You could tell it was mixed by hand or mixed gently with a spoon because the lumps of sweet, succulent crab weren’t mashed up or broken up. So good, we closed our eyes on every bite lol And a side note, my Sea Bass came with mashed potatoes and 2HUGE asparagus spears. They were crunchy, cooked perfectly and seasoned to the TEE! Perfect.
