I would like to thank Brad & Mario for helping us with our outdoor project. It was on my winter list of «honey-do’s» to address the pool stamped concrete outside. You see, it had begun to chip and fade from our saltwater pool. After researching, I knew this project was beyond my scope and expertise… It was then we reached out to Brad for a free consultation to discuss the scope of our project. He incorporated our ideas and specifications exactly as we requested. He even went beyond to insure the safety of our 7yr old to insure the surface was non-slippery. You don’t always know what you’re getting into with a concrete project as there are many variables, you just need to be part of the process and available. I remember commenting how remarkable it was to see someone care so much about our backyard project, workers consistently looking for imperfections, errant specs of dust etc. It truly is an art and far from an exact science. I’m grateful they were on my team, very easy to work with, punctual and on budget. We were quoted(3) days for our project but to perform it correctly, it took(4). There was no difference in charge. I would recommend Brad and his company for any outdoor stain project you may have.

Mr. Kinsman, In regards to your comment to my complaint, let’s fill in the blanks and get the story straight. My husband was NEVER told upfront that you suggested there was a possibility of a need for an overlay because of the prior glue! He was only informed of that option this week, not prior to the agreed quote! Your multiple conversations only took place b/c he tried to schedule you to view the room, select the stain color and finalize labor and payment arrangements. Pay half up front and the rest after job completion. The ONLY potential hurdles you stated were holes from the nails on the tact strip and possible cracks in the foundation which he completely understood those blemishes. AGAIN, what you never discussed at that meeting was an additional expense in an overlay due to glue residue. Per our conversation earlier this week, you said there is no way you could have advised my husband of all the potential hurdles that can arise when you are acid staining concrete, but in your reply you said you in fact did advise him of a possible overlay!!! Why change your story on social media from our phone conversation? It seems that you have done a lot of remodels over the 10+ years where carpet was the previous flooring. Why would this common residue issue not come up when you came to finalize the quote? And why did you take on this job if you knew an overlay could be a possibility doubling the price? You state we were on vacation which is a true statement, but we did leave you with a person in charge. Don’t you remember meeting her on Wednesday when you introduced her to your crew lead? You also had her phone # for any issues. My friend said the ONLY comment your crew lead told her was that there were a few spots on the edge he was going to work on. Never did anyone at anytime advise her of the issue in question. I would like to address the issue of your crew lead calling me rude and you implying that I hung up on you. In both of these separate conversations, I advised you both that I was getting frustrated by going round and round with NO Solution that I was happy with, so I needed to hang up before I would say something I would regret due to our differences. If one SAYS they need to hang up as we were getting no where with a solution, how is that hanging up on someone? I do agree that you have done some excellent quality work on select jobs from your website. However, the job that was done in my home, not so much. I also agree when you opt for stain concrete, you have to be willing to embrace imperfections in the slab once the floors have been prepped properly. My husband was told this would be a 3 day job to complete. However, my neighbor said your crew only took a day and a half to complete. By chance was this a rushed job and that’s the reason the glue residue surfaced after the stain was poured in the first day? I’m not the expert, but seeing videos on how to remove glue residue seems tedious and takes longer than a couple of hours if done properly. Mr. Kinsman, you can encourage potential customers to talk to your satisfied customers, but I will be more than happy to talk to those potential customers that need to hear the truth about your business practice. You really seemed like a nice gentleman but I am disappointed in your customer service and in hopes we can resolve the issue. Maybe you will have a change of heart and give us the quality work we hired you to do(at no additional cost) based on your agreement between my husband and yourself. Regards, Julie Mercer
