Walking in was very cold and unwelcoming. The hairdresser seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She wanted to give me something I didn’t want. What I wanted she said would take several settings and I was OK with that but she felt like she should do an all over color instead. How about take late shifts instead of morning shifts and maybe you will be motivated to do your job. I cancelled my hair color and cut appt and will be looking for services elsewhere.

I have been using aveda salons for over 10 years. I have lived all over the country and I always look for Aveda for cut and color. I have tried 2 other salons in the area since moving back and none compare to the professional experience I get here. I love Kendra for color and Mickey for a cut. They are both amazing at what they do.

Aveda salons are the best. Customer service is very good too. Rey busy so book early. Full line of aveda product too.

Never left a salon so disappointed before. Not only did the guy who highlighted my hair awkwardly not say one single word the whole time, he did not do a good job at all. You can still see where my roots were he did not blend it at all. Very disappointed for how much money I paid to leave with it looking like that. Definitely will NOT be back here. However, I will say, the haircut which was done by Mickey was excellent!!! he was very welcoming and made good conversation.

My wife got her haircut today and this is the first time she is really satisfied from a new haircut, service was great, her hair designer was Stevan which was super professional, highly recommended by my wife

I have been going to this place to get my hair colored since 2009. My colorist is Lindsey and she is so amazing! I love her to death. She is so sweet and professional. She always has a smile on her face. I went in last week because I had been rocking highlights for a year now and wanted to change to all one color (copper). She hooked it up!!! I love my new copper color and am getting tons of compliments. I highly recommend her!!! My hair has tight curls and is very thick.

I was referred to Avalon salon by a close friend who works next door to the salon at the Drybar in Plano, TX. He knows my hair very well so he suggested that I try the Aveda scalp treatment. I have been struggling with scalp issues on and off, due to a long period of using all types of heat and product on my hair. Needless to say my scalp was very dry and needed extra attention. After my first visit, I was a fan of the salon and the products, but it wasn’t until my second visit that I truly became an avid aveda lover. My second visit, I was with a senior stylist who truly showed concern for my scalp. Steven was incredible from the shampoo head massage to perfecting my «full of volume» blow-​dry, with just a round brush and blow dryer. The most incredible work I’ve seen done with those two tools ever, and did not even put product in my hair so the treatment would have a longer effect. This time, I actually felt the tingle of the treatment and not a single flake after he finished styling my hair! Steven works wonders!

I had my hair cut by Carolyn — great. A few weeks later I had Sara color my hair — fantastic! I can honestly say this is the happiest I have been with my hair in over a year! :)

I’m writing this review primarily to recommend a great stylist. Carolyn is the best! She has been doing my hair for over two years, and she is great! She used to be at Avalon in the Galleria, but now is at this location at the shop for Legacy. Carolyn is the best! She is the first stylist that I’ve actually stayed with more than a few haircuts. She knows my hair and when I want to do crazy things, she tempers me and gives me exactly what I need. I HIGHLY recommend her!
I don’t have much experience with anyone else at this salon, so I can’t rate any of their other services, but the facility is very nice.

This place ROCKS! Want to know why? Because the best hairstylist (Carolyn) works there… Guys (and girls), she is way too attractive in all ways. The miracle work she does with your hair makes it even more attractive and great. Not only do you get a great cut, she is an excellent person to have any fun conversation… Moral of the story, go for Carolyn as your stylist here! You cant go wrong. Peace

My favorite hairstylist moved from the Avalon salon at the Galleria over to the one at the Shops on Legacy. I followed Carolyn over there because it’s so hard to find a stylist who understands your hair, listens to what you want, makes suggestions and ultimately does a great job! I love the salon too – much bigger than the Galleria one and upscale. Really, give Carolyn a try!

I came to this salon about 2 months ago to get an ombré color application with one of the colorists. The first day I was in I thought I loved the color because the girl curled my hair with a curling iron and I couldn’t see that there were chunks of blonde and brown all throughout my hair and I looked like a skunk. The next morning I straightened my hair and my heart dropped. I immediately called the salon to come back in and get in fixed, they were able to squeeze me in in the afternoon. I get there and the girl bleached my dark ends like what you would do for a true ombré application. I thought everything was going smoothly until I was back in the chair from getting my hair washed out. The majority of my hair had become melted spaghetti and come to find out the girl had used 40 volume bleach in my hair and had kept it in for over an hour under heat lamps. I was refunded all of my money and I had to go and get about 10 inches of my hair cut off.

My mom and I both came here for haircuts with Gabe (who no longer works here). Gabe did the opposite on both of us than what we asked for. My hair was uneven in all angles. My mom’s hair was also completely uneven and all we asked for were trims. We called the manager about it and were told that they would speak with the DM and get back to us… well, 2 months later and we still haven’t heard from anyone with a simple apology. I guess they didn’t care at all to keep our business.
Poor customer service! I will never go back.

I had a very pleasant experience at Avalon when I went in y’day for a haircut.
The people there make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Micheal listened to what I wanted to do with my hair, offered some suggestions and made my hair look super good. He was very friendly and listened to all my jabber :-)
This place is the one where I will go to pamper myself. Waiting to try their massages and facials.
Prices are ok for their excellent service.
