Eh… Going for a healthier hangover food. Got a large super green smoothy. Was excited about kale and spinach but it just tastes like green tea. Could have made a significantly better and cheaper smoothie at home. Had been excited, but ended up disappointed. Not enough real veggies.

Simply said, me and my husband are addicted to Acai! Tried to get it in several other places but it just wasn’t the same. The Acai Bowl is incredible! Some times the line is long but the staff do their best to keep everyone satisfied. It’s certainly worth the wait.

Serioulsy?! Why wouldn’t you go to Tropical Smoothie?!

Robeks in Plainview has the best smoothies. There is always great service and they can customize any smoothie or juice just for you! It’s a perfect place for a healthy pick me up!

I am a regular at the New Rochelle location. I love their green juices and wheat grass shots! Sometimes the staff can be incredibly helpful and make great suggestions, other times the staff can be quite immature and not really caring if a customer is happy or not. On more than one occasion they have been out of apples, which is a main ingredient in many of their juice drinks. The girl really didn’t seem to care that I wouldn’t be able to get my regular drink. She didn’t offer up any other suggestions, nor did she indicate when a delivery of apples might come. Not that I would be waiting around for the apples to arrive, but at least pretend you are sorry you couldn’t accommodate me.

First time coming here and it was my last. I got two acai bowls and they came out pretty horrible. First of all the girl handed it to me and the acai was dripping all over and the bananas on top were falling off. This wasn’t something to complain about because she over filled it, more acai for me. However the taste was terrible. If you’re looking for a true acai bowl go to Long Island Super Bowl. As far as smoothies go, I can’t vouch. I’m sure they’re great but the acai bowls were definitely a fail.

To be fair, I love smoothies but I dont drink/​eat them because they’re healthy. Healthy is a plus, I just really like fruit flavors!
As usual I always stop by a place twice to give a review and I wont lie. It was mildly disappointing the first time and even worse the second time. I ordered the fruitiest sounding Smoothie on their menu and was disappointed by the flavor. It tasted like 80% ice and 20% flavor.
I inquired about it tasting a little bland but the Man who prepared it looked incredibly offended. I didn’t prod further. Giving the benefit of the doubt, The second time was much worse, No flavor at all. I know healthy is important for this place but I would think flavor is also. And you know, I guess healthy is what you’ll get when its mostly mild flavored ice.
This health thing is not for me, especially when I’m paying 7 $+ dollars for it

I love Robeks especially their juices. I HATE vegetables so I get the evergreen and you can barley taste any of the veggies because the apple over powers it. It’s perfect for me. The staff is always extremely nice. I just discovered they have a rewards program too which is a plus. I just wish they were a little bit cheaper and would open up more locations. The parking lot is horrible but that’s not really their fault. Overall amazing!

I really like the drinks here. They are refreshing and taste awesome!
The Fresh Squeezed juices are my fav because I dont have a juicer at home. The Evergreen is delicious with the Kae, Cucumber, Celery, Spinach, Apple and Lemon.
Smoothie-​wise I tried the Tropi-​Kale with the Papaya Juice, Pineapples, Kale, Pineapple Sherbert and Yogurt. Yum!!!
I love how they have Nutritional content right on the menu. Can’t wait to try more!

I LOVE ROBEKS! Seriously, they have the best smoothies around. No other place compares. Jamba Juice, eh.
I’ve been coming here for years, the smoothies are not only delicious but they are super filling as well. Plenty of times I’ll have it as a meal. They used to be primarily smoothies, but since juicing is the current craze, the added a bunch of fresh juices to their menu. I can’t speak for them as I’ve never had, but can only imagine that they are good too.
Robeks is the number 1 juice/​smoothie on LI. I just wish there were more of them on Long Island.

I LOVE Robeks. I discovered it while out in LA and was over the moon when I found one here in NY. The staff is pleasant and the juices are fantastic. I get a large Evergreen every time I’m there. Wish they’d open up some more locations though!
Their Robek’s Rewards card is super too. Nice to get a discount :)

Finally stepped into this neighborhood juice/​smoothie shop…
Pros:
* Had a really good Berry Slim with added chia seeds.
* Line moved fast
* Cute little store with a counter for waiting while your drink is being made
* Grab a fresh pre-​made juice to-​go
* Calorie count on the menu (not all smoothies are created equal)
Cons:
* Yea, this parking lot STINKS.
* One worker to take orders and make the drinks
* $ 6 – 7 per drink
Overall, I would return bc the drink was delish… and this is one of the few juice/​smoothie joints in the area. Try it out for a heathy departure from your regular routine!

Robeks shakes are great and made from fresh ingredients. The staff at Robeks of Plainview is very helpful and always pleasant. My favorite shakes are Venice Burner after my morning workout and the PB&J is a guilty pleasure. The PB&J is so good you can almost taste the crust on the bread! Many great choices on the menu!

Sweetgreen and Evergreen are my favorite! The ABC is good too! Quick and friendly staff.

***Double check the dates on the items out of their cooler. My mom went to buy a bottled juice one day and they were ALL expired by two weeks! No one had noticed.

Great place if you like fresh squeezed juice and smoothies! They also have wheatgrass shots! The staff is pretty friendly and fruits & veggies always look fresh. The only thing I dont like about the place is the wait but I can deal with it.
The juices and smoothies taste great and the prices aren’t too bad. I highly recommend if your looking to get fresh squeezed juice at a reasonable price. Theres plenty of parking!

I used to go here all the time for lunch when I was juicing but never really liked it. Today I went again after a couple of months break and remembered why I really don’t like this pace.
It’s all to to with the way they make their green drinks. Let’s take an Evergreen — they start off by adding the «good» ingredients; kale, Cucumber, Celery, Spinach. All these ingredients reside at the bottom of the jug. Then they always add way too much Apple, which resides at the top of the jug and then add a squeeze of Lemon.
The problem is that this amount of liquid is about 30−50% too much so when they pour from the jug into the plastic cup they are pouring all the apple juice and not much else. I then see them dumping all the «good» stuff down the drain.
It’s really frustrating because I am paying $ 7.05 for nothing much more than a freshly squeezed apple juice.
I have mentioned this to them in the past and while they never seem to change the recipe, they have on occasion given me the left over in a second cup.
I don’t want more drink, I just want the right drink.

I am sorry but I am all about the Robeks. I use to get one everyday in high school.
The drinks just taste fresher then other places. I love the hummingbird flavor!
Now of course there are a ton of different options. LIke you can get drinks with yogurt in it and whatever other stuff. I prefer just pure fruit drinks!
Price is similar to the expensive star bucks brands. But it never stops me. I need my robeks fill!

WHY do I venture into this parking lot I despise so much?
ladies yapping on their cells as they also try to find a place to park
so I’ve been on this smoothie thing for a few weeks as saw this place
figured since they only seem to sell smoothies how bad could it be?

first clue lady a few people before me was complaining about her smoothie which they tried to replace and she was talking refund not replace
my strawberry smoothie mixed with something healthy had little taste and a hefty price tag of 6 dollars
I almost turned around after a few sips to complain but I got in my car and told myself you hate this parking lot and now you dislike this smoothie place learn and don’t come back

I don’t think I’d say it’s the best smoothie ever but it does hit the spot.
Like I’ve said in a few of my other reviews of shops in this parking lot especially on this side, it’s a zoo! My advice is to park in back and take a walk and be a little more at ease about your car. The smoothies are fresh and very refreshing. My personal favorite is the Acai Energizer and the Acai Bowl is great if you’re looking for something healthy to munch on.
A great stop to make if you are in the mood for a smoothie as there aren’t many options available in the area. They put out a quality smoothie.
