Let’s get the elephant out of the room: This place is out in the middle of nowhere, even by Vermont standards. If that’s cool by you, then keep reading. This B&B is for anyone looking to get far away from the stresses of life. The house has been immaculately restored and it sits on the most amazing hill overlooking the mountains. In the foreground is a field with lambs and cows. It’s truly Vermont at its finest. The B&B itself is awesome. Our room upstairs has a fantastic view out every window. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom is awesome, old school claw foot tub and shower. Breakfasts tasty and homemade. The only downside is the distance to any decent restaurants for dinner. TIP: Plan your day so you are in the vicinity of Montpelier or Waterbury around dinner time, then come back to the B&B for a glass or wine on the deck overlooking the mountains. If you do rush back to the B&B before dinner time, you will be disappointed, and probably end up at a pizza joint 20 minutes away. Ok now let me get back to my wine and my view of the mountains and the sheep.
