Hubby treated me to a 90 min relaxation massage and it did not disappoint. Mary Anne greeted me warmly and made me feel extremely comfortable. She not only provided an excellent massage she even gave me pointers on techniques I can use at home for lower back pain. I will definitely be returning. Hopefully sooner than later!

I have been going to this place for a year now at least 1x per month. I’ve been seeing Sarah and just love her. I’m usually reluctant to have a woman as they don’t always give a deep enough massage but she can. She responds to how much talking you like and I always sleep so well after my massage. Leela is just the kindest person and so caring. Everyone has been so awesome there — I have had many massages over 20 years and this place is one of my very favorites.

Got a groupon for a massage. The staff was polite and professional but I found the conditions of the massage room to be a nightmare. The business is in an old Placerville downtown mainstreet building. Probably built in the 1900s. It smelt musty. They also had an air conditioning unit in the room that made a lot of noise. It wasn’t the built in air conditioning but one that sits in the window. It would kick on and off. You could barely hear the soothing music and their was no essential oil smells in the room to kill off the musty odor. The massage therapist was polite but didn’t give me a deep enough massage. Groupon said deep tissue massage, but it felt like gentle rubbing. A few times she did some trigger point releases around my neck but for the most part I don’t really felt I she worked the knots out, which is what I needed. I was bummed and most likely won’t return, unless they change locations and make improvements to noise level, comfort of the room and ask questions about depth of massage.

I had a deep tissue massage from Sandy and it was faaaaaantastic! I was extremely relaxed afterwards and during. She listened to my body, got all the knots out without any pain and did a great job. I have to take one star off for the outside noise(from Main Street, not their fault) and a little bit of a hard sell at the end and follow up phone calls. I’d go back to Sandy for sure and recommend her highly.

The massage was not bad, I’d give it a 6 on a 10 scale, but I give the overall experience only 2⁄5 stars for the following reasons. First, I was massaged by Jim, who while a nice enough guy, really pushed a hard sell on me DURING the entire massage. He tried to get me to commit to a year-long massage«club»; to return therapy; to buy gift certificates for friends. The services he was trying to get me to commit to were VERY expensive, as well. Second, the room was also a little cold; and third, the room was VERYBRIGHT and therefore not as relaxing as it should have been. Fourth, there were no scented candles, no scented massage oils, no fru-fru stuff. I kinda like the fru-fru stuff — I get massages to be pampered, therefore, fru frus are necessary. Update: My hard sell during the massage was followed up by additional calls from the business owners and pamphlets from Jim. Enough already!

My husband and I went for massages. We didn’t know we were even in pain because we lived with it for so long. Jim and Cathy did AMAZING massages and dealt with the pain. We live an hour away and scheduled appointments as we are now repeat customers. Well worth the drive!
