This was a very pleasant find. I am a cappuccino snob. I would rate this place a solid expresso shop. The strength of my cappuccino was perfect. Very warm and welcoming staff. Will definitely visit again.

I’ve been coming here almost everyday for about 2 weeks now. There is nothing here I haven’t been dissaponted in. I love great tasting food and this is some of the best food I’ve had even if they’re just sandwiches and bagels. The espresso is the best I’ve ever had by the way. If you’re ever in the mood to relax, this is the perfect spot

Such a great place in town. I’ve always looked for a place to relax, read a book and drink (good) coffee. Well, I’ve found one!!!
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good coffee and sandwiches. There’s plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating over looking the Pittsburg Marina.
I sat and chatted with the owners mom (who immigrated from Bulgaria about 17 years ago). She was such an amazing lady and totally made us feel welcomed. It was a treat chatting with her.
Also, this place doubles as a paddle board and wind surfing rental place (Not only do they rent out equipment but they have lessons as well).
If you’re looking for a place to get good coffee, relax, hang out with friends (or by yourself), this is definitely a place to try. I’m confident you won’t be disappointed.

Coffee snobs/​aficionados would appreciate the espresso and atmosphere. I believe they use a Bay Area brand of coffee but their capps and macchiatos are made perfectly with stiff foam. As for a traditional macchiato, the portion actually looked bigger than expected due to the capp size cup filled with fluffy foam, but no worries since the espresso was still excellent. I got notes of cherry! Good to know through another review they also do SUP. … Next time, perhaps, with fellow snobs.

Just discovered this place, and already know it’s going to be a favorite. I loved the atmosphere and the way it was decorated, and the wide open space was great, as well as the location on the water.
The food was delicious! My sandwich was fresh and really good, and the pineapple smoothie actually tasted like pineapple (believe it or not, that’s hard to find). I will definitely be back!

I went here on a gloomy day to have a hot chocolate date with my friend. The chocolate was perfect and the blueberry muffin I ate was yummy. One thing I like about this place is the environment because it felt like I was somewhere else (compared to franchise coffee shops). The owner was nice but seem a little shy maybe cause we were new faces, but I think we will start coming here. They serve other hot drinks, smoothies, and sandwiches. So if you don’t want to go to a typical coffee shop come here, sip on your warm cup of coffee with your gadgets or chat with a friend.

The Kite bar is located right by the delta, and has nice views of the water. My parents and I went down for lunch today and we thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches and smoothie. My dad got the cal club sandwich, my mom got the pastrami and bleu, and I got the veggie. They were all delicious and made with fresh organic veggies and produce. The flavors are really good. The owner is super friendly and makes the baked goods daily. We ordered a chocolate chip cookie and he gave us an extra on the house! The interior is set up really nicely and has a welcoming feel to it. The Summer Breeze smoothie (pineapple, mango, strawberry, and banana) was refreshing and yummy. Support local business and give the Kitebar a try! They also have lattes, mochas, tea, cappuccinos, and other coffee drinks that I will be sure to try on my next visit.

We just stopped by for opening day and love it! Such a pretty location on the water. Inside has a really cool feel with lots of comfy seating and gorgeous floor to ceiling windows so you can check out the nice view. We had their hot chocolate, breakfast croissant, and smoked salmon bagel. Everything was delicious and the owner was so nice and gave us a couple muffins on the house. We’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I just did a stand up paddle lesson. It’s a little challenging but we would both do it again. Maybe rent the boards next time and venture into the delta. I’m always looking for fun date ideas and this was great because it got us out on the water on a beautiful day, doing something active, and it’s close to home.
