I’m not exactly a gamer, though I do get down on some Nintendo classics and have always been a lil’ Princess Peach in my own right. I show up and show out on Mario Party and will take you down if you want to try me in the Sonic the Hedgehog arena, so watch out playgirl. But this review isn’t about my bragging rights, it’s about the guys in here who assisted me and how helpful and welcome they made me feel. By the end of my experience, we were joking and laughing with each other, which is always a good sign. Plus, one of the salesfolk had a Mario-themed tattoo sleeve on his arm that absolutely stole my heart and spit it back out. So there’s that. The line was heinous and since I had stopped by a few days after Christmas, I had the opportunity to see chirrrren at their absolute worst: begging and disrespecting their poor mothers, screaming for more video games and the latest expensive game systems, pulling on their parents arms as if they were human Gumby’s who could withstand brutalities of any sort. Through it all, the Gamestop employees remained resilient and calm during situations in which I would have gone loco or turned into an episode of Snapped. For this, they have earned my endless respect and eternal gratitude. You guys deserve all the praise(and raises) in the world.

DONOTVISITHERE! Gamestop here at this location is just terrible, I visited this store about 5 times and the customer service is rude and the employees seem to never want to help you. Kevin associate ID: 281954 was just rude with me when I asked about returning or trading in my PS4 that I got for Christmas. They said very little I would be getting back and I said ok can I at least trade in a game and charging dock? Kevin looked at me with a smirk and looked and asked his Manager if they could. I hate when they do this in front of customers. He was trying not to do anything for me until I asked for what I wanted. Then when they were finishing up I left with them giving me dirty looks as if I were some jerk which I am not. I never usually complain like this but others have to know!

They have a lot of inventory at this store… we were able to find a old used game here for PS3 «Just Dance», which is a good thing. But my nephew & I felt imtimidated with the people who goes there and shop there… we wouldn’t shop here again… only if there’s a game that other store in pleasant hill & concord doesn’t have it.

How are used GAMECUBE games being sold for $ 25-$ 40(I thought I was the only one who even plays Gamecube anymore these days anyways)? I could buy the same games but new on ebay for like 10 bucks. This store has a lot of inventory even for being just barely post-Xmas. It must be because their prices are rather steep. It looked like you could get used game systems though for a really good deal. There were 2 employees in the store and only 1 other customer besides us but nobody ever asked us if they could help us with anything. I mean, normally I hate it when sales people are pushy and hanging around me but I also don’t appreciate being completely ignored ya feel? The last straw was that the temperature inside the store was probably hovering near 85 – 90 degrees. Baby it IS cold outside but on the real, I felt like I was being smothered in a sauna. I had to get the heck out of there asap. Don’t think I’ll be stopping by this location again.
