Well, Unilocal,I’ve got two words for you: Homeowner. Life.
I love coming to this particular HD, even though there are others in the area (Ahem, Totowa! Parsippany!). Pine Brook’s HD is way friendlier and welcoming than the Totowa location, and much bigger (?) and better-​stocked than the Parsippany one. Plus, it has a great non-​shared lot, which means you’ll never be circling for a parking spot. The staff here is very friendly, always smiling, and super helpful in directing me toward whatever supplies I need to fix my (admittedly very poorly-​described) house-​related problems. From light fixtures, to garbage cans, to tub refinishing & painting supplies — they’ve done more work in our house than they know! Even their gardening section looks better than other locations, and I’ve been known to go out of my way to stop here for lightbulbs. Their displays are great & make it way too easy to imagine new finishes in our home.
Basically, it comes down to the fact that I’m very comfortable shopping here, asking tons of questions, and I can always get whatever I need from the very welcoming & friendly staff. Thanks guys. You’re really helping me enjoy this Homeowner Life!

The staff at this location are very nice and helpful. we couldn’t find something and one of the guys came up to us and asked and led us to the right product giving us as much info on it that he had. Then what was impressive was when we went to self check-​out, the woman that was there noticed we had two similar items that but they were slightly different. she asked us if we were aware we had them both and if we wanted to keep them. she can tell on her main screen what each person is buying. even tho we did want both, I appreciate that she noticed that and asked cause that does happen sometimes when ppl accidently buy something.
so there is that and the overall generosity of the place.

I was very impressed with the help the guy in the plumbing department. I needed some professional help, and he went through the various options I thought would work, and he pointed out what would and wouldn’t work. When the one size I tried didn’t work, and I came back, he offered another option, that when I went home and tried, worked great.
This was today in the morning, and at lunchtime.
Also, the store is always clean, and the people helpful. They gladly refunded me for the first part that didn’t fit (my fault).

I am a home owner.
I can come here everyday and get something every time.
It has everything. The staff is very helpful.
I want to win the lottery and spend good chunk of it here.

My husband and I have been redoing our home and have been going to this home depot regularly for the past few months. Every time we go in there, we are greeted with a smile. Everyone is willing to help and quickly too. The cashiers were friendly and efficient. Multiple times, they helped us get heavy items into our car. I feel lucky to live so close. We are very happy with the service which has been lacking at other locations.

Although not every employee is pleasant and/​or helpful, (at least) the majority are. Have come to this Home Depot several times over the past couple of weeks, and each time I always find what I am looking for (of course, with help from one of the staff).

In all honesty I could really give a crap which Home Depot I go to, but we needed to buy a dryer this week cuz of course ours died on Labor Day so sent us rushing to get in on the sales. I did my research ahead of time online and pretty much figured out we’d have to order it one way or the other. After checking out the Parsippany location, they had a few that we could have bought on clearance but then they charge you for delivery and take away so no point. There were also multiple people in the department but only one woman who could help me and she was on the phone also trying to help someone else (Parsippany location get it together).
We ended up at Montville that night and a super nice guy helped us order our dryer, we were in and out in about 15 minutes. Hopefully when it arrives this week all will go equally as well.

I agree with Dee — it’s like the Home Depot no one knows about.
When I came here this past Saturday with my sister and father, people in and out of the store seemed civilized and courteous. No one was trying to run anyone over in the parking lot (like they do in Totowa). The store seems to move at a quiet yet organized way. It’s not as chaotic or loud as other Home Depots in the area.
We were looking for shingles, but they didn’t have the color we wanted in stock.
On the other hand, this and the Totowa location were having demo days for kids. I could smell popcorn wafting in the air and then I saw kids happily eating popcorn and enjoying their time at Home Depot.

It’s like the home depot that no one knows about.
Super clean, organized and relatively new.

This is my local Home Depot.
I was impressed with the workers asking me twice if I needed any help. This is truly rare and unprecedented at Home Depots. Found everything I needed which was basically foldable bag chairs, 6 outlet surge protectors, and waste baskets. Have been at this location for various other items throughout the years.

This Home Depot is located on Route 46 East right after the Bloomfield Ave split off. The garden center at this location is awesome. I was there last night and they have a great selection of plants and flowers. The garden plants all looked really healthy and I did not see the droopy dead ones that you expect at most chain garden centers. The store is also very neat and the associates are helpful. The location is out of my way, but I try to stop whenever i am in the area and need something.
They also got a bonus star based on one of my prior visits in April. April is Autism Awareness month and Home Depot had blue light bulbs for sale with proceeds going to Autism Speaks. When I purchased one an associate noticed that I had one in my cart and thanked me for buying the bulb.
I will return to this Home Depot.
