The reason I gave this donut shop a 2 is NOT for the actual donuts because the apple fritters are so good :) BUT this place is NEVER EVER OPEN!!! you literally have to be their between 8 – 1:00pm because if you go after 4:00 PM GOOD LUCK! What kind of business is that… So if you plan on going in the afternoon you might want to call beforehand!

Been coming to this place for many years. The donuts are great, now if they only sold beers. The old man still gots it and his son does real fine. So dont forget to leave that little extra change behind. Cuz i dont mind tipping for nice families like theirs. Theyre not the type of owners that say nothing and stare.

Holy wow, mother of a cow. This place is amazing and been coming for years. You feel the love as soon as you walk in the door. Lovely atmosphere, and everyone is very welcoming. Best doughnuts in pico, if not all of los Angeles county.

Maybe it’s because I went in the afternoon but the donuts looked nothing like the pictures: (I went to Kong’s because of the Unilocal reviews but I was disappointed.
The cute little older man that was working the counter kept sticking plain donuts and donuts that I didn’t choose in my box. It got so frustrating that I wanted to give up but I stuck it out and came back with a dozen mediocre donuts.
2 stars are for the cute old man.

Great donuts, great relaxed environment. The staff doesn’t miss a beat even when there’s a lot of people waiting in line. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid along with my dad when I’d tag along with him going to his work at 5:30 am. I’ve never been disappointed with their donuts or coffee or anything else. I highly recommend this place!

The best Coffee and delicious Donuts in Pico!
I highly encourage visiting Kong’s Donuts because one tastes quality and freshness.
Environment is clean and fully stocked with creamers, napkins and sugar packets. Furthermore, Frank and his parents deliver! They provide fast, professional, and friendly customer service.
For instance, before walking into Kongs Donut shop, Frank had our coffees ready on the countertop. Therefore, this is AS GOOD AS it gets because it feels like coming home to family.
Overall, I Strongly Recommend visiting Pico Rivera’s Finest Donuts n’ Coffee!

Now known as Kong Donuts (same owners). Best donuts around. This place has been here for years and that should say something. The donuts are great, the service is great, the prices are very reasonable, there’s no wonder why the regulars are here on a daily basis. The drinks and ice cream are cheap. Gourmet coffee is really good. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Frank and his dad are artisans of dough. Seriously, These guys know how to handle fragile dough, gently sliding it into the oil or the oven; Cooking the delectable morsels of goodness to utter perfection.
And it’s a testament to their craftsmanship of food and service that despite the Super A closing, and a number of the other stores going out of business that this little donut shop can stay open. Truly an asset to Pico Rivera.
