Eye Priority

We have been customers of eye priority for years & have been pleased with their service until last week Jan 16. I had cataract sx & all I needed was new lens in my eyeglasses & sunglasses & they gave me an outrageous price of $ 1100.00 plus I have vision insurance. Talk to manager & wouldn’t help at all. All I got was «sorry». We had recommended people to Eye Priority but certainly will not now. Had gone other places & was given prices of $ 85 for the same prescription. All I needed was reading lens not even distance. Highway robbery

Dr. De Simone is the best! Friendly, takes the time to make sure that everything is correct! Great support staff! The only eye doctor I trust with my eyes!

I just had my anual appointment and wanted to check the reviews. Just as I stated in my review last year, there are still no reviews below 5! It’s not surprising, as I can’t believe someone could actually find a better office. Whenever I go in to see Dr. Sawitzke, I feel like I’m visiting a friend, and getting awesome medical care at the same time. I must add something to the review this year though… I was amazed at how well the front office staff was able to confidently and completely answer all of my questions about my insurance coverage. I’ve never had a medical office be able to answer all my questions without haveing to «check and get back to me». Thanks again Eye Priority for actually making my anual eye appointment an enjoyable experience!

Great reviews for this place but I’ll add my good one to the pile anyways.
My last pair of eyeglasses here purchased four years ago was really expensive but totally worth it. The light lenses meant no more sore nose. The coating on the lenses is unbelievably tough — not a scratch after four years. Dr. DeSimone carefully examined my retina scan and pointed out a few possible health issues — she’s not just here to sell you a pair of glasses.
The people who fit your frames are very good at picking out the pairs that fit you just right and helping you make your decision. They also keep you informed of the cost of your choices as you build your frames which is really great. This visit the frames that I liked best also happened to be fully covered by my insurance so not so much expense — and because of the durability of the previous pair I now have two excellent pair of glasses as the old pair purchased here is still in such great condition.

I’ve been going to Dr DeSimone for ten years or more. I am always really sensitive to changes in my vision /​new glasses /​etc., and she has always worked with me to find the right solutions. She is always very patient, thorough, and just a nice person, with a fun sense of humor too. And her staff is really helpful and professional. I’ve been to many different optometrists over the years, and Dr DeSimone really stands out above all the rest. I’m very happy to give them a strong recommendation!

I initially came here for an yearly eye examine and because the reviews here on Unilocal.Making the appointment was very easy and i was able to get in as a new patient within a week. The office is very clean and the atmosphere upon arriving is very welcoming. The optometrist, Kelly, was fantastic. She was very nice, friendly, and took the time to get my prescription right. I have very bad eye sight and its always hard to get my prescription right. But like i stated prior, she took the time to ensure everything was right and i felt comfortable with what i choose. The one thing i can say, is they carry a lot of designer frames which make the cost of the frames slightly higher (in my opinion). However, the quality of care you receive here makes it fully worth it! I would highly recommend them.

I love Eye Priority! I have had to wear glasses since Kindergarten and am type 1 diabetic, so needless to say I need a great and thorough eye doctor. I definitely have that with Dr. Sawitzke. She is friendly, informative, and knows her stuff. She always takes the time to explain things & worked with me to find the perfect pair of contacts. The office staff is friendly and the choice of frames is huge. Planning on going in soon to find my next pair of glasses. Very highly recommended.

Have been going to Eye Priority for several years. Dr. de Simone is a wonderful doctor. Very comprehensive. I had to go in a couple of times to tweak my contacts and was never charged or felt I was bugging them. I would highly recommend their services.

This practice rocks! The doctors are professional and friendly. The staff are helpful and take a genuine interest in your needs. Appointments are always on time. The office is neat and clean. I always enjoy my annual eye exam here. Overall, this is an excellent office with great Doctors and Staff. I always feel they take the time to see each patient and answer all my questions. It always has a very warm and inviting atmosphere, which is very important to me having been to other medical offices that were not welcoming at all.

This is where I always go for my eye appointment. I think one of the biggest plus is how awesome they are with kids. My son is 2 and ½ and they did a great job with him.

Our family have been patients of Dr. DeSimone’s for almost 20 years. She is thorough, knowledgeable and patient. (I have challenging eyes!) We recommend her to everyone!

Eye Priority is phenomenal! I’ve had problems my entire life with wearing contacts. Dr DiSimone gave me the most comprehensive eye exam I’ve ever had and I now have contacts that are comfortable! I am so impressed. They are professional and every aspect of the practice is top notch. If you have problem eyes you must check them out.

I love going to Eye Priority. Not only do I feel cared for by Dr. Sawitzke, and pampered by Roseanne, but everyone values my time, so there’s no waiting around. I get all my questions answered about eye health and insurance coverage, and always come away with glasses I love and am confident I’ll look great in. Don’t bother with the chain eyeglass sellers — this local gem is wonderful! And they save your used eyeglasses to donate to the Ahwatukee Lions Club — even better!
