Went there today because now I live in the area. Good side: I have to say the burgers are really good. The fries go with it well too. If this is all you are wanting or needing in a burger joint you have to try it. Bad side: Onion rings were typical and I did not finish(lost a star). Also, they do not make shakes to go with your meal(lost a star). Overall: you cannot go wrong with their burger and fries.

At the drive-thru I asked what a Crab Cake was. The girl said she didn’t know. So in my 30+ years of eating out, for the 1st time ever I asked, well is there someone here who does? So she asked someone else and told me it was basically a crab cake made into a burger. You know those times when you realize it’s just not going to get you very far trying to ask someone questions? I really didn’t care what I ate, we were there mostly for my husband so he could get a burger. We got home, figured out which belonged to who(m). The wrappers stuck to the buns. Like literally peeling them off and some of the bun is getting peeled off with the wrapper. Then we realized the buns were sweet. I hate sweet buns on burgers. WHO came up with that idea? Mine came with raw onions. That’s the kind of info that’s usually volunteered when you’re ordering and ask about a menu item. I don’t like raw onions, they give me heartburn. Even if there’s just onion juice left behind after taking them off. Crab Cake. No, it’s not a crab cake. It’s a crab patty. No, it’s a crabby patty. Haha I love Spongebob :) I made it through most of it but the sweet bun combined with the fishy crabby patty ended up just being gross. The fries were homecut like I like but no salt or anything so meh. My husband ordered jalapeños on his burger and didn’t get them so he was kinda mad at first. He didn’t get onions either so I gave him mine. They got the drinks right. Haha. But I hate skinny straws. You know how when you’ve eaten somewhere and it was awhile back and you haven’t been back but don’t remember why?

BB’s has the BEST cheeseburger I’ve ever eaten. The fries are good, too. And some of the desserts are really delicious. I generally only order two things here: the cobb or alaysia salad(when I’m eating low-carb) and the cheeseburger and fries(when I’m not. The rolls are really good, too.. .they have the same sweet taste as the burger buns. I wish they had more non-starchy vegetable options.. .if they did, I’d come in for more than the burger. But the waitresses always take good care of me.

We used a Community Impact magazine coupon… buy sandwich combo and get a free sandwich, my wife ordered a cheeseburger combo and i got a free cheeseburger. The burgers were 4 napkins worth of juicy and the bun was topnotch too… tasted kind of sweet like Hawaiian bread, the handcut fries were awesome. We left very full and very happy… posted some pics. The service was very good too.

This place sucks. Ordered two kid burgers, a crab cake burger, cheeseburger, and fries. My kids immediately said they didn’t like their burgers or fries. Crab cake burger was $ 10 and very disappointing. Cheeseburger was kinda sweet I don’t know it just wasn’t mouth watering and satisfying. Even the fries were tasteless and missing salt. Would not be coming back.

Only giving one star because it won’t let me give NO stars. I’ve tried this place twice now, and not only don’t like it — it left me outright pissed off after try #2. The first time I went, I did the drive through during my lunch hour. I was in a hurry, and thought the drive-through would be more convenient. But alas, I sat at the drive-through window for 14 minutes before I got my food. I know it was 14 mins, because I started wondering around 10 mins how long it had been, and looked down at a timestamp on a txt msg I’d sent as I pulled up. The woman working gave me my drink while I waited, and it was gone by the time I got my food. And while I’m on the topic of the drink, I’d like to point out they only have a 20oz size, which was so packed with ice, I got about 10 ounces of coke, and it cost as much as a 44oz fountain drink at other establishments. Not a good start. Then when I got my food, It was a disgusting slop. I’m the one that posted the picture of the limp, oil-soaked fries under the photos of this Unilocal listing. I got the crab-cake sandwich because it sounded nice and different. That trip, there were no complaints about the sandwich itself. Just the wait, the drink, and the limp, season-less, disgusting fries. Oh, and price… was almost $ 13 for a sandwich, fries, and tiny ass coke. So now for trip #2. I really want this place to be good, because it’s close to where I live. So I gave it another try. As I said, it just left me pissed off this go-around. This trip, I sat in line in the drive-through for 17 mins… SEVENTEENMINUTES!!! I was behind one other person when I pulled up. As I got to the window, the girl who was working was leaning out the window trying to flag down the car in front of me as if something was wrong with the order and she only realized it as they pulled away. She mumbled«oh shit!»(real professional!) and closed the window in my face as I rolled up. I sat there for 2 mins, before they even opened it again and took my payment. Again, I got my wimpy-ass drink while I waited. And again, it was gone before I got my food. But I had anticipated that. No biggie this time. Knew that going in. I just asked for no ice so I had more drink to actually drink. I ordered the same sandwich as last time, because that part of the order had been decent. But I got onion rings, instead of fries since the fries had been so gross previously. The whole trip was an absolute fail. The sandwich was disgusting this go around… the bun was barely baked, and doughy. In fact, so much so that it stuck to the paper it was wrapped in, and ripped half the top of the bun off when I got home and unwrapped it. Plus, for some reason, this time they OVERLOADED the thing with red onions! It was all I could taste! And the crab cake portion itself was no good either. It wasn’t cakey and fluffy… it was… imagine this… the consistency of MASHEDPOTATOES in the middle of my sandwich. Every time I picked up the sandwich or took a bite into it, the crab cake oozed out like mashed taters were in my bun. It was… foul. That’s the only word I come up with. So now, for the onion rings. There were only 5 of them(for about $ 2.50???), but they were hearty, so I shrugged it off and tried to roll with it. While the outside of them looked nice, and crumbly and crispy; when I bit in, I found the onion in the middle to be basically raw, and the batter on the inner side to be raw and doughy! I suffered through one(I was hungry after not being able to eat my sandwich!)… but it was one too many. I literally had to force myself to eat it. And I couldn’t get any more down after that. I closed the box it all came in, and spiked it into the trash bin in a fit of rage. Wishing I hadn’t done that now, so I could show you all pictures of the doughy bread, almost liquid crab«cake», raw onion rings, and the 10 or so red onion rings I pulled off my sandwich… but it’s too late now. Don’t waste your time, or money, on this disgusting slop. ((((And to drive my point home… I MADE a Unilocal account for the SOLE purpose of reviewing this place… that’s how much I hated it, and wanted to prevent somebody else the hassle!))))

IDK. IDK. I’m still kind of unsure about my review, and experience. But, here goes. So, I popped in last Saturday. Late. I was one of those 45 minutes before you close people. But, wanted to give this place a shot despite reviews. I liked that they have a drive through, but I went in. That kind of spoiled it for me. it smelled VERY stinky. Like a mixture of natural gas and … people gas. It was closing time, so IDK what they were cleaning with, but as I think about the flavor of my sandwich, I’m wondering if its natural gas?.. So there’s that. The lady that took my order couldn’t tell me what kind of fish it was, just said Hawaiian, but none the less, she was very friendly! The cook was really nice too! Overall, very nice folks workin there. So to the food. I ordered the fish sandwich combo. The fries were only good about 5 minutes after being fried. They got weird and dried out quick, and needed seasoning right away. The fish sandwich consisted of 2 pretty big pieces of fried fish, a nicely grilled bun, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion & tarter sauce. SOMETHING had a weirdness to it, so I pretty much took off the lettuce & veggies. After that, it was kind of boring. and then with those fries, I was NOT very impressed. I’ll definitely go back & try other items before I say I won’t go back.

The burgers are great, and the fries have promise. The fries are fresh and hand cut, but they need some seasoning on them. The staff is super friendly. I would agree with one of the other reviewers, as the place was too hot. Turn down the AC.

We really enjoy BB’s Home Cooking in Georgetown. This place is so different; it is hard to believe they are associated. When you walk in the door, you are hit by the smell of stale cigarettes. They are located next door to a bar, and the stench permeates into their location. Off to the side of the entrance are cases of potatoes. They store their food ingredients in the dining area. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers with bacon, an order of fries, an order of onion rings, and 2 drinks. The burgers were touted as having grilled onions. I was able to find to small strings of onions on my burger. They serve their burgers with mayo, but the cook soaked the burgers in mayo. It was hard to taste the unseasoned bland meat. We were very disappointed. The cheeseburgers also do not have cheese on them, but processed cheese food. The onion rings came straight from the freezer, and the fountain drink dispenser needs calibration, as they drinks were funky tasting. The only good thing was the fries. They were made from fresh cut potatoes(from the cases of potatoes stacked near the entrance door). While eating the food, the employees went to the back to clean the restrooms. New customers came in and they did not wash their hands before going back to work to serve the new customers. Yuck! $ 20.28 for two low quality, poor tasting meals.

Not a bad place for a burger. I absolutely loved the large, sweet bun that was buttered and toasted. The tomato and lettuce were fresh and crisp. And restaurant was sparkling clean(new paint and flooring?), but spartan(nothing on the walls yet). That being said, everything else was average. And the burger was a pre-formed, frozen job. With all the burger choices in the area, I’m not sure how this is one rates a return visit.

Meh. I’ve experienced better. is what Unilocal says for two stars and I agree. The patty is standard pre-formed from a food service company, nothing special. I doubt they have a Thermapen to check the temp of the oil in the fryers as the fries were greasey and not well cooked. Another person gave a good gluten free review, when I went all I got was blank stares when I mentioned gluten allergy. Red Robin is better. Mighty Fine and Five Guys is better yet.

For a burger place this was really a great place to find while looking for a place to eat! LoL! The reviews here were quite accurate. I am not sure there are low rating reviews on here. The customer service was great. The food was delicious. I was looking for more a greasy old fashion burger. The fries were delicious but I would recommend eat them hot at the restaurant. I took mine home and they weren’t so great. They got kind of soggy. But I know if I had eaten them while they were hot they would have been delicious. The price is reasonable considering some places are over $ 15 for a person.

We got a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings and fries combo, and a pulled pork sandwich. If its to go I suggest getting the bun on the side for the pulled pork sandwich. This place is awesome and the price is less than Burger King.

This place is new and seems like a well kept secret in Pflugerville. I really liked the minimalist layout. It is simple, with plastic tops and a large flat-screen TV, as it is a burger joint after all within a cookie cutter shopping plaza containing a Mr. Gattis and dive bar. The hand-cut fries were delicious and the portion size with a cheese burger was filling. The bun was grilled, which was a nice touch and so were the onions. The patty had a nicely seasoned, taste and you could enjoy the salt and pepper enhanced flavor in every bit. The bill was reasonable too, you won’t have a $ 15+ tab for a burger combo unlike many Austin«popular» burger joints and it is actually not much more than I spend at a mediocre chain cheeseburger.
