Awesome coffee! Got some iced coffee and a Cuban coffee. Both were awesome! Lots of seating out front and the staff was very friendly. I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops and this one is right up there with the best of them.

Coffee wasn’t very good but I’ve become a coffee snob so it’s hard to please me. Chocolate chip cookie was great. Clean bathrooms. Would visit again.

Had a vanilla latte i asked for a latte art and the barista told me the funniest thing i have ever heard.“sorry, it is hard to do latte art on skim milk”… really? What kind of excuse is that? The coffee did not taste good as i expected :(i was disappointed. The espresso just did not taste strong/aromatic. They obviously dont know how to make a good latte. I also had a bagel sandwich but it took forever to get it! It was not even busy! Prices are not so cheap either. I think i am just going to go to Starbucks next time. Was a waste of my trip.

I only had a sandwich when I went but it was yum-tastic. I got the el baconator or something like that(bacon, turkey, avocado). Well priced too. Not overly expensive like some cafés I’ve been too.

The reviews are VERY accurate it is ONEOFTHE most fantastic places to have coffee I have ever been to… they have a unique coffee no one else in the area has that i know of… They have Truvia for sweetener LOVE that thoughtful about the environment too use Bio degradable cups .LOVETHAT… The owner is personable and has served me more than one time. Great staff I make it a point to stop every time i am around… ant say enough good things, I do happen to be a coffee addict.

Easily the best coffee in Pensacola with all kinds of tasty treats to start your day. Very pleasant staff, that quickly learns your name and order. Easy access. Did I say the best coffee in town… by a very long shot?

My new favorite coffee shop in the Pensacola area! I’ve been to all the locals ones – the Leisure Club, Drowsy Poet, My Favorite Things, etc. – and that ubiquitous chain by the name of «Starbucks,» the Walmart of coffee shops. However, Maximilian is sort of a hybrid of Starbucks/Bagelheads(a local bagel shop) – the shop, connected to Cactus Flower in the newest East Hill shopping plaza, sells a variety of homemade, local, organic treats such as cookies, bagels, and pies, and not to mention a variety of coffees, lattes, and espressos(there is an espresso machine behind the counter). Not to mention, the vanilla hazel nut coffee and oatmeal cookie I had was amazing – fresh and delicious(the oatmeal cookie had a hint of coconut in it, making it even more worth the precious calories)! Best of all, everything is VERY reasonably priced(no wifi, crowds, of obnoxious background music either)! Find out for yourself and try it today – you don’t know what you are missing!

This is my new favorite coffee spot in Pensacola. I’m a coffee nerd, and these guys know how to make good espresso. They also bring in their bagels each week from New York. Their pastry display is simply amazing — my plan is to work through all of them over several months(although I would have liked to do it in one sitting). I’ve yet to try their Belgian waffles, as they are usually only available on Saturdays, but they look incredible. I spoke with the owner and she told me about plans to expand their pastry selection too. It is clear that they are passionate about making delicious food and coffee. I should note that the prices are very, very reasonable too. I fed 2 adults and a child for less than it would cost for 2 drinks at Starbucks. The shop is right next to Cactus Flower on 12th Ave. If you go there once, I’m convinced you will be hooked like I am.
