In reference to 11/11/2016 Came in to eat with family and friends to celebrate our upcoming wedding(this was Wednesday night, so the place was practically empty). We all ordered pretty much separately(in total about 9 people), but mind you my husband and I ordered first. Long story short after waiting a for over an hour, not only had my entire party ate their meals, new customers came in, ordered, been served, AND left before I had even seen my food. Plate after plate passed by our table, and none of them were mine. We asked several times, and no one knew what was going on. Eventually after about every person at our table going up to complain, then finally myself(which I have NEVER done). When I finally did receive my food, it was incorrect. I told the chef that it was ridiculous that people who came in after us got their food before me, especially since everyone else at our table finished eating, to which I received the following response«I have a lot of tickets.» Seriously? We had already cancelled our sushi earlier on, and after having to complain so much we were refunded for our entire meal(just my husband and I), and received a gift card. I still haven’t used it because I refuse to return after such a horrible experience, actually none of us have returned. Pei Wei in general is horrible at bringing out food ordered together at the same time.

Where do I start? Horrible service or possible health violations? Decided to do take out today. Coming from someone who has worked in the food industry for years, I have many questions/doubts. 1) who is the manager at this store and where the hell was he/she? Every employee(which Im not sure why such a small store needs 15 employees working on a Sunday evening shift) was carelessly walking around, drinking from the bev station, laughing, on their phones, and zero care in the world for any of the guests at the tables or the long line at the register. 2) why are there 8 people in the kitchen, theres a huge dashboard of pending tickets hanging from the window, and not to mention, several orders coming out incorrectly. 3) why does one of the hosts have such a bad attitude; she doesn’t even look like she wants to work or even has the energy for it. And 4) why is no one wearing a hair net and/or hat and why is one line cook chewing gum while tossing my Mongolian beef in the air, which by the way came out wrong. Story behind that: I asked for Mongolian beef with onions on the side. After waiting about 20 minutes by the take out area, We overhear the host who took our order let the kitchen know that the order was supposed to have onions on the side rather than be cooked all together(only correct thing I saw happen the entire time we were there). Instead of admitting their mistake and making a fresh dish, the line cook began to hand pick the onions out. WHICHBYTHEWAY, seemed to be taking him longer than to make a fresh one. You would think it would’ve been easier/faster to do that when there are already 10 cooks on the line. I don’t know if this is a franchise or a corporate chain, but regardless… This should obviously be an economic concern for whoever is running this. Wait, it doesn’t end there. When I first noticed he was doing this, I tried to keep my composure and not say anything. After a long minute or so, I just couldnt. I was just so bothered by everything in general. So I went up to the host who took our order and told her that I had noticed what the cook was doing and I would like for them to re-cook my order. She went ahead and notified them. The cook immediately starts looking around the restaurant, Im assuming to figure out who the customer was. The host returns and says«hes wearing gloves, do you still want a new one?». AREYOUKIDDINGME??? First of all, clearly its not ok because I wouldnt have asked in the first place. Second of all, I watched this guy open the kitchen door(with those same gloves) several times prior to this, and third of all, why even question me? I just got home, and noticed my «onions on the side» were still given to me rather than a new batch LOL. I give up! Never going there again.

That’s my first time coming to pei Wei. I have heard good things about this place. The lady that took my order, I believeher name is Aliana. First of all, she did not look like she wanted to be there. She was super rude because after I paid for my meal, I decided I wanted a beer as well. She gave me that nasty look like why can’t I make one order. Then when I went to get user a knife and a fork, there was no forks. I ask one of the servers for a fork and he said he will go get some. After waiting for a while, I ask him if he got the forks for me and he tells me he put them in the tray. He did not even have the decency to let me know that the forks were there. Horrible location, the staff is just rude especially the lady taking the orders, if you don’t like your job, just quick and go do something you like doing. Don’t make my experience bad because you don’t like your job

We used to get take out all the time from peiwei, but recently the service at this location has been awful. They are always late with the to go orders, and on more than one occasion our order was completely missed when we ordered online. The staff doesnt seem to care if someone has to wait 20+ minutes, and doesnt even apologize for our order being missed, instead they just blame their corporate online ordering system. We will be finding a new place for Chinese take out.

Pei Wei, think PF Chang’s scaled down to a much more affordable price. Personally, I think Pei Wei out ways PF Chang’s any day… even being their sister company. My parent’s have owned a Chinese restaurant for many years, so I am well aware of Asian flavors in food. I have to say that Pei Wei does a very well job translating it into their fusion style. Two of my favorite dishes from them is the teriyaki bowl and pei we spicy chicken, both over white or brown rice comes with a packed punch in flavor. Oh and don’t forget about the hot and sour soup, which indeed is quite authentic tasting. They have the hot and sour soup down pat, better than any Chinese takeout restaurant I have been to. I haven’t been able to find a good place that serves good hot and sour since my parent’s sold their restaurant, until now! Today I decided to try a new dish, well sort of. I went with their Pei Wei spicy chicken salad, which looked phenomenally plated. Unfortunately, the salad part was disgusting. I know disgusting sounds really harsh, but the choice of vegetables used in this salad was not a great blend. Their was just too much iceberg lettuce that over powered everything else. The dressing that came with it was quite disappointing. Think grocery store, lime juice in a bottle… that’s exactly what the dressing tasted like, straight out of the lime juice bottle. The spicy chicken was great as usual, which sat on top of the salad that went straight until my tummy. I tried to eat it with the salad, but it just didn’t mix well for my taste. Left the entire salad as it came on the table, and devoured just the chicken. Definitely don’t recommend this dish to anyone, unless if you like iceberg salad with lime juice.

I don’t know what’s happened to this location but stay away. Went today for lunch, big mistake. Ordered my usual, chicken pad Thai very badly done. Noodles cooked to death had a weird acid taste. My son got the Mongolian beef with vegetables unable to eat the vegetables they were put on the plate like they forgot them. Not cooked at all. One customer at a table across from me had to return his food three times. Will not be returning.

The customer service here is horrible. The young staff are not friendly and they move at a snail’s pace. They are not very welcoming here. I prefer the Miami Lakes location.

A PF Chang’s sister chain, Pei Wei offers a lower priced fast food style menu with msg free food. This location has declined over the years with respect to the cleanliness. The service needs to improve significantly. The staff seem to be students and they don’t offer salt or pepper when asked, which seems strange for an Asian restaurant. I would rate the food 3 star but on the salty side however the plates, cutlery, tables, floors, restrooms every thing is pretty much dirty. They take forever to clean the tables and the staff is very inexperienced and slow. Their rating can’t go any higher unless they have a professional cleaning done and follow up with daily maintenance and better service.

Is this the place to go when craving authentic Chinese food? Of course not, but Pei Wei offers delicious food at a very good price point. My favorites would have to be their Pad Thai, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao and Caramel Chicken. Their brown rice can be a bit undercooked at times, but it tastes much better once you throw in a spoonful of the chili sauce. This location is a lot slower than the location in Miami Lakes, and they tend to never have any open tables.

DONOTCOMEHERE. I REPEAT: DONOTCOMEHERE!!! How is this establishment still in business? I am dying to see how many violations they have on dirty dining. I walked in on a very quiet Tuesday night, proceeded to walk up to the register and waited approximately 2 – 3 minutes for the cashier to finish her conversation with the fellow employees to even acknowledge me. It wasn’t a work related conversation either because she was laughing. She happily took my order and for a mere $ 13.00 got sweet and sour shrimp with rice and a soda. Pretty steep for a Chinese chain restaurant but I digress. I go to choose a seat in this restaurant and although there were about 2 – 3 tables with patrons, 11 of these tables were not cleaned off. Yes I said 11 because I actually counted. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. One of the tables even had a wet rag on the tables. Like someone must’ve decided to clean it and left the rag on the table mid swipe. It was disgusting. So the table I chose appeared clean until I put my hand on the chair to pull it out and the chairs were sticky and smelly. So GROSS! I had to go to the bathroom to get a paper towel with water to wipe it down. And don’t even get me started on the bathrooms. Only go in there if you are willing to question whether or not you will leave with viral meningitis. The food came out and while it wasn’t bad, it was not worth $ 13.00. The sauce was way too salty and the rice tasted bad. The soda was flat and the self service station was disgusting. We were sitting in this establishment for 20 minutes and not ONE person cleaned off those tables, while there were 3 cashiers chatting away, 4 chefs and 1 food runner who was doing everything besides cleaning off the tables. This place is downright disgusting and I would never come back here under any circumstances — and neither should you. If they can’t even keep their dining room clean what makes you think they would do the same for their kitchen? I am contemplating even calling the department of health on them that’s how disgusted I was.

The food here is good, but this is the second time coming here without us getting our appetizers before our actual orders come. It’s a bit disorganized, but not a bad option if you are in the area.

Ever since this location has been open it’s been consistently the worst run pei Wei I’ve been to. Sushi is horrible, they ran out of shrimp before, 40 min ticket times on the weekend, new managers every year.

Unfortunately the 2ish stars are deserved. Avoid this place. The service was bad and the food was only edible if you knew what to order and what to avoid. ORDER: Pad thai. It’s not authentic, but it’s at least tasty. AVOID: Tofu. This shit is just gross. I love tofu. Here, it looks like they marinade it in soy sauce and then bake it before putting it in their stir fries. Couple things to wrap up: Their«thai dynamite» sauce tastes like nothing. And their wait staff has zero follow through on customer concerns. It took me 45 minutes to get food after I sent the first plate of thai dynamite tofu back to the kitchen. Sorry, won’t ever be back. And I can’t see the need to investigate another Pei Wei.

I can’t with this Pei Wei. I just can’t. This place is a jungle. I LOVE Pei Wei and the food at this location is pretty good. But mark my words, after two trips to this particular Pei Wei, I will never return. I first tried this location out on a Thursday night with my dad. It was so packed that there were no tables available. Fortunately for us, after waiting 15 minutes to place our order, we found a table. We ended up having to bus the table ourselves as the people there before left their plates and cups on the table and there were no employees in sight. After we cleared our own table we had to hunt down someone to bring a towel and clear the food remnants from the table. There were no cup covers for our drinks, babies were screaming, and we again had to search for someone to bring us silverware as there were no clean utensils in the provided area. I tried this Pei Wei a second time because I thought my first experience might have been an anomaly. Nope. This time it was even worse. The line was to the door, however I opted to get take out since I was only ordering for myself. I stood in the take-out line for 10 minutes and watched the cashier chat it up with one of her friends who was apparently on her break. The line didn’t move an inch. It was loud, crowded, and the service was clearly non-existent. So I left. Run, my friends. Run far, far away to the Miami Lakes or Weston Pei Wei.

Sadly, this place is always packed and for some odd reason the kitchen cannot keep up with the volume. From the time of ordering till you sit it takes a lifetime to get the food to the table. Worse yet is that on some occasions the bussers won’t clean the table without some attitude. The food is worth the wait but sometimes the wait is too great for the food. I’m not sure if this place is understaffed or what, but at least the quality of food makes up for it.

I really like this place but man, the food is so much in the salty side that I always feel guilty of eating it. If it wasn’t because of this, I will give this place 4 stars. I know is Asian food, but man, is above the amount of salt than other places. Last night we went and had the sushi rolls. They offer 2 varieties: Mango California Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll. Both of them were delicious and not salty. We also ordered the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps. This was also good tasting but salty. I’m telling you, they use good spices, enough to lay off the large amounts of salts, and still be delicious. I wish they could change that.
