This is a KFC with a taco bell combined. This place had ample parking and was warm on a chili day. We entered and checked out the buffet, the food looked old and was filthy; with food which had spilled along the buffet line. We opt’d not to eat the buffet and order off the menu. We stood there while we could see employees socializing in the back then someone came up to take our order and informed us that they did not have grilled chicken. Supposedly the grill was broken? We cancelled our order and left. In addition to the buffet being poorly maintained the restrooms were in poor shape. My wife advised me that the tissue paper was sitting on the garbage can. As she and my daughter used the restroom they were able to rescue an elderly woman by handing her tissue paper because her stall was out, who knows how long she had been sitting there.

This place is pretty good. But it gets busy fast around lunch time. When the buffy opens they usually don’t have much chicken on the line. They bring it up slowly but the customers mount rapidly. Since it is the only KFC in south central Oklahoma with a buffet it doesn’t surprise me that it gets overwhelmed. You may have to wait awhile but I have been here several time and always get my appetite satisfied.

The Colonel’s Buffet is usually quite fresh, all you can eat. The big national push for CHICKENPOTPIE, that I had fallen in love with on their regional test marketing… I rarely order, because EVERYTIME I try to order, IT’s «We’re out right now, there’s a 15 minute wait…» What part of FASTFOOD don’t they get? Their Taco Bell portion is faster, and cheaper… Not the Best KFC, Not the Best Taco Bell, but by far MUCH better than the worst.
