Great breakfast food served all day. Clean, fun atmosphere. One of my family’s favorite area restaurants!

Slow service and the water tasted weird. I thought I would order a pop to drink after tasting the water, but the pop tasted like the water. It had a taste of dirt. Slow service, but the waitress’s are very nice.

Good place to stop while on the road. Basic food done well. I had the French toast and wife had the Fonzerelli cheesesteak sandwich. Both were hot and fresh!

Walking distance to our motel is Happy Days diner. As you would expect, it is decorated in the Happy Days genre. I thought it was good diner food with a complete bar and they have mile high pies to complete your meal. I had the senior chicken fried steak dinner which is a perfect size. Yay, old age has some advantages. When you want more than fast food or Mexican, this place is A-OK.

Decided to eat here on my way back to Dallas instead of one of the fast food joints near by. You’re not gonna get any surprises here. The food is classic American diner food. Breakfast is served all day so I decided to go for the Country Fried Breakfast. It’s a chicken fried steak with two eggs, hash browns or grits and toast or pancakes. For less than $ 10 it’s very reasonable and the portion size is nice. Everything was cooked perfect. My eggs were over medium and my hash browns crunchy. The chicken fry was covered in gravy yet still had a nice crunch on the breading and the steak was very tender and well seasoned. Overall it was a satisfying meal. The servers were friendly as you’d expect from a small town diner. A bit slow though. But again, small town so I doubt anyone here’s in much of a hurry. I would certainly recommend stopping here if you’re passing by along I-35.

I’m patient but after 20 minutes of waiting for anyone to take our order we finally went up and asked for someone to come take our order. 10 minutes later someone finally came by. Apparently our server was more concerned with bussing tables. Anyways, food took a little over 20 minutes. It was edible. Service was scarce. Had to ask anytime we needed something, which wasn’t much. All we wanted was a quick little in and out brunch so we could keep trucking down the road to Houston. Ended up wasting an hour. I would recommend McDonald’s or Arby’s.
