Found this place completely by accident originally! Came back a second time on our vacation to Paso. We were extremely impressed. Friendly service, great selection of local wines and delicious food! Even gluten free pizza was a hit. We will make this a permanent stop on our trips to Paso.

Their gluten free pizza option is really good and I totally appreciate that they have one. However we always get it to go because there are soooo many TVs in there that it’s super distracting and hard to have a conversation.

Thie was very authentic pizza place! Great service and delicous food! My son and I and his 4 young children were coming home from Morro Bay very late. Arrived there about 45 min before closing and was warmly welcomed! Not made to feel rushed since their closing time was 11pm and we arrived there at 10:15 pm. Food was served soon and they have the best pizza, salads, and desserts we have had! Very much kid friendly! Very impressed! Place is very clean!!! Wished we had them in Bakersfield! Definately will be back! Thank You Rustic Fire for a fantastic experience all the way around! Well worth your money! This is a 10 Plus star place!

Tried this place last night with my family for a get together and wasn’t disappointed at all. Their buffalo style pizza and other flavors, along with their cookies and brownies that you can add gilatos to. Such as cinnamon, chocolate, etc. WILL return to this place again and again.

There are limited places to get decent pizza in the area so I get why this place has such good reviews. I’ve been twice and the pizza isn’t terrible but it just lacks something. I’m big on a tasty crust and their crust is kind of bland so maybe that is what is missing for me. They have a good selection of toppings and are super friendly but it definitely isn’t my favorite spot in Paso Robles.

We are always always so pleased when we come to eat here, but tonight was different. We are semi regulars. Try to come once a month and normally it’s fast and so good. Tonight I don’t know if it was cause they had a lot of people in who had previously ate or what, but it took 45 minutes for our breadsticks then another 15 for the pizza. We ended up taking home and having them box. Not very pleased tonight. Don’t think we will be back.

Overall mediocre pizza with too much crust. Normally I love wood fired pizza and this place missed the mark. Italian Salad was pretty good, had too much dressing though. Fantastic selection of wine/beer! Very disappointed in the unlock free item on Unilocal. They didn’t honor it as other Unilocalers mentioned. Won’t be coming back.

This place kills it, nothing worse than a BS advertising showing something free and then find out later you have to buy other items. The advertising on Unilocal made us think ok cool passing through try out some food and then you get well its a plus plus bs ad. Totally not cool!

Food: 5 service: 4(you order at the counter and then sit down), ambiance: smart casual, extra bonus: 10% military discount! We stopped by here after finding this place indicating gluten-free options on Unilocal.Because of celiac disease, we must be truly gluten-free. Eric, the young man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful in explaining how the gluten-free items were prepared and which ones were available today. Unfortunately, their dedicated gluten-free oven is only big enough for small pizzas, so we had to order two small ones. But both the Greek and the Neapolitan pizzas were delicious! They also have a few gluten-free beers, but the New Planet that we tried seemed a little cidery. We would definitely come back for the pizza!

I enjoyed the pizza here. The reason for my two star review is related to customer service and the«free cheese sticks with check in» offer. My friend and I chose the place based on the deal. We both ordered medium pizzas and beers and paid separately. When I tried to use the deal, Stephanie informed me there was a rule that you had to get a large pizza and two drinks to use it. I told her I understood the rule was designed to avoid people abusing the offer, but we had ordered far more than that, value-wise. Then she said she still wouldn’t honor the deal because we paid separately. She was condescending about it and I felt after spending $ 50 at this establishment, not honoring a $ 5 cheese stick deal seemed a little crazy. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she’d call her boss but«it would take a long time.» She never got back to me. I think the rule should be changed, and Stephanie could’ve made an executive decision using logic to honor the deal. Instead, I got attitude.

The food was excellent. We ordered a veggie gourmet pizza with the garlic sauce. The menu on the website is out dated and the garlic sauce no longer contains anchovies Our other two pizzas were of a more traditional fare. We picked up our pizza which was a good thing because the place was still hopping at 8:30pm. This would be a 5 star but for the fact they underestimated time. We were told our order would be ready for pickup in 35 minutes but it turned out closer to an hour.

Service was really good. We ordered a good wine recommended by the cashier. We placed the order at 2:20 and it wasn’t busy at all. The manager came at 3:00 to let us know they were having some glitches and that the order was going to take another 20 minutes. This was a honest mistake but they made up for it. They didn’t charge us for the salad and gave us free gelattos. The food was excellent! We ordered the rustic Neapolitano-awesome food! I’d have given it a 5* but their mistake impedes me to do so. 4 * is right on it

Needed to get something to eat after a day of winetasting. Looked on Unilocal for pizza, which lead us to Rustic Fire. Considering that they have one of those pizza ovens that should bake a pizza in about 8 minutes, not sure why our order took so long. The place is okay, but I don’t have to go back.

Driving down the 101 we pulled off at this stop for gas and were surprised to see a 4 star pizza place on Unilocal.I was lured in with the Unilocal check-in offer of free cheesy bread sticks. Unfortunately, upon ordering we were told that the breadstick check-in offer only counts when you order a large pizza and two drinks. I do not appreciate false advertising. The only way one would know of this fine print was to click all the way through to use the offer now. This is not something I typically do until I am at the check out counter of a restaurant. I ordered a garden salad and a cheese pizza. The pizza was ok. The salad was iceberg lettuce drowned in dressing. Will not return.

Casual noisy place with many tv’s and similar to Ikea(shopping) background music. Pizza isn’t too bad. Feels like a chain pizza place however I believe it’s not. Order at the counter, sit down and food/drinks will be served at your table. 3 sizes of pizza: personal 9″; medium 11″; large 14″ Drinks a bit too pricey.

We were spending a night in Paso and needed a bite to eat. Rustic Fire was just a few minutes from our hotel and based on Unilocal ratings we decided to check it out. We called ahead to pick up a small pizza and two salads. We got there and Eric(manager?) let us know that there had been a lapse and they didn’t get our pizza in the oven. He apologized and comped us a couple of soft drinks. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. The pizza and salads were delicious, although we probably should have gone ahead and eaten at the restaurant, since thin crust pizza does not travel very well. I would definitely go back if in the area and hat’s off to Eric for providing excellent customer service.

We stopped by here for lunch on our trip up the Northern coast of California. The service and ambiance are friendly and welcoming right off the bat. The gelato display is mouth-watering to look at while ordering. We ordered the half and half pizza because me and my friends wanted to taste two different flavors. The first flavor is the one with green leaves in the photo and that one is the Prosciutto, Arugula, and Mushroom pizza. The combination of these ingredients is ecstatic to the taste palette. It’s also fresh and unique with a wonderful thinly sliced ham called Prosciutto. Amazing. The second flavor is the Rustic Bianca which has mozzarella, other stuff, and pine nuts. The addition of pine nuts is genius. Rustic Pizza definitely offers more to their customers than the average, if any, pizza place. In addition, the cheesy breadsticks are to die for. Their ranch especially is sprinkled with herbal garnishes that make it taste like something completely new! Altogether, service is 5 stars, ambiance is 5 stars, and food is 10 stars if I could :)

Recommended by one of the lovely ladies working at the Best Western Plus on our first night in town(Friday, 8−28−15), the Rustic Fire was a show stopper. In layman’s terms, after eating here at Rustic Fire, its going to be impossible for me to be fair and impartial eating at any other pizza joint. On our first go-around, our first night we ordered a half & half. One side Thai Chicken and the other the Red Hot Buffalo. I fell in love the hot stuff but the wife said she enjoyed the Thai Chicken even more. I guess what they say is true. Your favorite whatever is what you like. While waiting for our order to make its way to our table, I snapped a few pics of the interior. Whats really coll about Rustic Fire, especially if you have small kids your trying to entertain are the television sets with their own remotes located at each booth and, a full Direct TV package to boot. Rustic Fire is the one place I’d drive three hours to eat at again or, fly down to get that $ 400 dollar pizza. Yes, it’s that good. PS — Note in the beginning of my review I mentioned on our fist go-around? We enjoyed Rustic Fire so much, we ended going back and ordering the same pizza on Saturday night after we had already eating tacos next door at Tortilla Town. That’s gotta count for something and say a bunch about this place.

«Best Thai Pizza Ever« My wife and I stayed in Paso Robles this weekend and went to this pizza restaurant we had never seen or heard of before. We ordered a Thai Pizza and a Greek salad. The Pizza was the best I had ever had anywhere. Simply delicious ! The medium pizza is a bit pricey, but after you taste the pizza with all the great ingredients, the price is worth it. The Greek salad with the great tasting Goat cheese and Greek olives is also top notch. It was amazing to stop at a small local pizza place and get such a great meal. Kendra made our pizza and took so much time to make sure it was perfect before cooking. The Restaurant also has a extensive local Wine and Beer Bar, The staff was very friendly, and I wish we had a Rustic Fire Pizza restaurant in San Diego, because it would be the only place I would go for Pizza !
