Bottom line… Dr. Babakhanian is amazing! I’ve never been to a Dr. who spends as much time with you, asks questions and really cares about getting you better.
I’ve been seeing him for a few months now as we are trying to get to the bottom of what’s wrong with me. If you have a question you can e-​mail him and he will ACTUALLY call or e-​mail you back! I have a complicated case and where most Drs. would have given up, Dr. Babakhanian is patient and understanding. I had to go through 4 doctors before I found Dr B and I’m so glad I did!
The wait time is usually only about 10 minutes and the staff is very professional. Easy parking too. If you’re looking for a good gastro doc… It’s Dr. B!

I just had my first appointment with Dr Babakhanian a few days ago, and I was so happy and grateful to have found a gastroenterologist in LA who is skilled and clearly up to date on his field of expertise PLUS a truly genuine, caring person.
When I arrived, the office staff and nurses were super nice and helpful, and I was taken back for my appointment after only a five minute wait. The office is bright and clean, and the staff were super sweet with my 2 ½ month old baby that I had in tow. They even offered me an empty exam room to use after my visit to feed and change my daughter if needed — so above and beyond kind and caring!
Dr B came in just a few minutes after the nurse took my vitals and put me in an exam room. He greeted me warmly and spent the next half hour getting a thorough medical history and talking through my current symptoms. I have multiple gastrointestinal disorders and recurrent flare-​ups, so there are a ton of details and factors to consider for treatment, and I’ve had plenty of doctors in the past get things wrongs, dismiss symptoms, etc. Dr B was on top of everything. He gave me great recommendations and agreed with me on the medicine I need for my current flare up. Additionally, he consulted with his colleagues and wanted to confirm with my pediatrician to ensure that the medicine would be okay while I’m breastfeeding. So important to me and appreciated!
All in all, Dr B is awesome, and I highly recommend him!
