Caroline Hwang, MD – Keck Hospital of USC

She has been my GI Doctor for 2−½ years now, and she has been nothing but professional and caring. She has been the perfect balance of aggressive and patient with my treatment, and is always available for questions and concerns. When I was first diagnosed I didn’t know much about Crohn’s disease, and she is always willing to sit and educate me about the disease. Her efforts and work with CCFA shows just how much she is personally committed to bettering her patients lives.
I often use Unilocal to review and find new restaurants, but in this case my experience with Dr. Hwang has been so personal, thorough, informative, and professional that I had to write a review. Definitely not a glamorous topic, but definitely worth the time to share my experience.

Her temper is not good. She did not encourage me at all and made me feel very depressed. This is just my opinion and my experience. I had seen her a year already. I now understand why some people wrote negative reviews about their experience with this doctor.

I wrote a very negative review about my experience with Dr. Hwang. I have since deleted it after she called to tell me her side of the visit. I thought that was decent of her. In this case ‘stars’ don’t matter. I think you should have your own experience and post your opinion.

Amazing doctor. She takes her time to listen and truly cares. She has a great bedside manner plus is an excellent doctor. Dr. Hwang is very thorough and always remembers things about my case. She makes me feel like I’m not just another patient. I highly recommend her.
