Everyone knows you have to have a fresh hair cut to impress (especially in LA). I’ve gone through 6 stylists in the last year and finally landed on one I can say is here to stay. The shop has a great vibe and makes you feel right at home. Had a great conversation with Raffi and I’m looking forward to coming back. The best part about the place (obviously) was how my hair looked. I walked out of this place with my confidence through the roof. I’ll be recommending this place to all my friends and family.

Raffi D is the man. He’s current on all styles, I’ve never been disappointed leaving here.
I started out getting Eurohawk styles which I heard Raffi specialized in, and lately I’ve been doing the David Lynch style (shaved sides and back, top to the sides) and he’s been knocking it out of the park.
Good guy, won’t disappoint you.

Raffi is a class act, professional, intelligent, fun, and very agreeable. You would fail miserably, in your attempt to find a finer individual to take care of your grooming necessities. He’s the best.

Got a great, reasonably priced haircut here. Comfortable, not-​awkward conversation as we watched America hand Argentina’s ass to them in Olympic basketball. Don’t live in Pasadena but if I did, I would be a regular.

I searched online for stylists in LA, and Raffi D Hair Salon popped up. Since it was close to where I was. I decided to check it out. The appointment process was super smooth, and the ambiance of the salon was very soothing. As for the cut, Raffi was precise with his understanding of what I wanted. My hair cut and style was one of the best I have ever had. He understood what I wanted, which was more of a spikey look. He was able to pull it off with no glitches. I highly recommend Raffi D Hair, and will definitely go back.

Plain and simple: Raffi knows how you want your hair cut, even if you don’t. Raffi found a way to make me look good with short, professional hair, something barbers and stylists have failed to do my whole life.

Raffi D is one of the best kept secrets in Pasadena, I swear. I’ve been going to this guy on-​and-​off for years, and believe me, every time I strayed, I regretted it – and inevitably came back to him for the fix. Well, I’m not straying any more!
If you’re looking for a stylist who:
1) is an experienced and capable professional,
2) offers a reasonably priced menu,
3) can translate even the most vague and/​or overly-​ambitious hair-​request into a cut that’s actually attractive on you, and
4) provides friendly customer service
…then you have to give this guy a try, especially if you live in the area. It’s basically like hanging out at a friend-of-a-friend’s who just happens to be a pro hair stylist. That’s been my typical Raffi D experience over the years.
Yes, the space is a little hard to find but there’s free parking in the back and if you get lost, a quick phone call to Raffi for directions will sort you out.

I was in Pasadena for the day and a good haircut was long over-​due. Getting a good cut in a trendy area can be a death blow, especially for a man with modest tastes.
We found Raffi D recommended highly here on Unilocal of course and we stand by this community. Raffi was very accommodating and really made it a satisfying experience.
Raffi operates out of an upper-​level unit, similar to an contemporary office suite. Because of this, it is very comfortable and one needn’t worry about anyone else but one’s self and one’s cutter. This also means unequaled attention. Finally, he extended the 25% off discount which essentially made the cut less than two cuts at Supercuts!
Raffi was very inquisitive as to what was wanted and needed, and he cut the same way too, very giving and receptive to feedback and concerns. I tipped well needless to say.
Speaking from a young man’s perspective, Raffi impressed and deserves the business.

Raffi is the man. I just moved to Pasadena and haven’t had a cut in too long. He was the only Salon willing to take me on such short notice.
His place is nice, quiet & in a great location. It was a relief to not have meaningless small talk with someone only mildly attentive. we talked important business only: pros and cons of leasing vs owning, lakers, and raffi’s history (he’s was a stylist in beverly hills for many years, etc.)

Got my first haircut from Raffi today and I love it! He really listens and tries to help you define a cut that you want. I walked out of that place totally happy. I will definitely be back in 6 – 8 weeks. Very reasonable price too =)

Raffi D. is the best hair stylist in the world. No one will do a better job than Raffi.

Raffi D’s has cut my hair with several styles over time: professional, sharp, very stylish, always takes his time, always accommodating to make appointments, equivalent cut to a professional salon that is 2 – 3 times the price. Highly recommend.

The place is a bit hard to find, and isn’t visible while driving.

I wont go anywhere else. You tell Raffi how you want your hair and he like sees the picture inside of your head and he does your hair exactly how you pictured it. Weird! He’s awesome!!! Super talented guy. You should see how he works the scissors… Any who… He’s fricken cool!!! I tell all my friends about Raffi! They all come out impressed.

I actually found Raffi by Unilocal and I had to see what all the Unilocal was about and i thought he superceded all expectations. Raffi is the kind of guy you just don’t meet everyday. ladies i have long hair, simple cut and i was happy… the men def. all need to see Raffi. he had a few customers there who couldn’t say enough good things about him… i opened this Unilocal account to write this review… check him out, see for yourself… he’s going places
