Love this location! The food and service here is always great :) Love the Club Panini and Ceaser salad! Can’t beat that mountain view in the back too!

Went to corner bakery @ foothill blvd. Pasadena. Make the story short, our food got delayed. The manager Kate, make our meal free! What a costumer service! The waiter Robert(asian guy) has a very good attitude too! Defenitely will come back!

Like their Raisin Pecan Sweet Crisps, Lemon Bar & Caramel Latte. Hand pies are good, but on the sweet side. Their Whoopie Pie is too sweet for my taste.

I had to swing by to eat in between errands. Got a sandwich soup combo. My choice was grilled cheese and chili soup. Grilled cheese — I can make me better and tastier at home Chili soup — didn’t expect much but it was suprisingly good. It was a decent substantial hearty soup Didn’t know the combo came with chips. I went up to ask if there is a substitute. Found out they also give carrots. I would recommend them to give the option when customers are ordering at counter :)

Came here again today mediocre customer service and at its bare minimum. Also No potatoes again!!! Another failed attempt… Next time maybe I’ll just make breakfast at home!

I came here for some lunch with a friend, I ordered the soup & ½ sandwich combo. For my soup I had the chicken tortilla & for my sandwich I had the chicken pesto. Everything was good, I really enjoyed my soup. But the service sucked today. I didn’t see my spoon my plate it was hidden under my bag of chips so I got up to ask for another Lori then said to me there was already one on my plate did I need another? It’s not what she said that was rude it was how she said it. She had an attitude. I told her I didn’t see the spoon and walked away. It was just a little rude and unprofessional in my eyes. I work in the restaurant industry and I don’t see a reason why anyone would need to be rude about a spoon haha.

Nice place for breakfast on Saturdays, but it can’t get crowded after 11am, so hurry up :) Easy to order, you take your number, take a seat and wait until a friendly waiter or waitress brings you your order. It’s nothing fancy, like most of this kind of Café or restaurants and if you have reasonable expectations, you will not be disappointed.

The Food is amazing here. I love pretty much everything on the menu. I usually come on weekends and for breakfast. The service is always fast, and the team is great. You can order your food and have a seat inside or enjoy the outdoor seating as well. Once your food is ready a staff member will bring it to your table, they will find you by the number they hand you to put up. Parking here is easy, this location is in a big plaza. Enjoy a dessert as well… delicious :)

Saturday breakfast. In and out in 30 minutes.(YMMV). Easy parking, large lot, stand in line, place your order, I picked up my espresso in a ceramic cup and took my number to a table. There is a condiment station where I added half and half creamer. Don’t know if they had unlimited refills on coffee, but I think so. They had 4 kinds of coffee but they were too weak for my taste. One of the nicer things here is they have the calorie breakdown on each part of all their meals, thus I can decide if I want potatoes or fruit. You can order your meal from your phone or online if you are in a really big hurry. I had the Anaheim scramble, eggs with avocado, excellent presentation and not overcooked. I have also had the Farmers scramble which is also good. I’d go again. Maybe next time have the double espresso.

This review is long, but its worth reading if youre bored at work or sick of checking facebook — also you can save alot of money with a the coupon code i refer to in here :) I came to this corner bakery location in about early November because it is a block from my house, on the way to work, and had come across a coupon for the restaurant — Coupon 201 — that says $ 3 off any meal of $ 10 of more. Sweet… I thought. When I got there I saw there was a promotion to buy a $ 25 gift card and get a $ 5 bonus gift card. I ended up buying 2. And then I ordered what I usually order — 2 breakfast paninis &2 coffees. I showed Coupon 201 — and got 3 dollars off. Excellent. I decided to come here everyday. You’re not allowed to redeem the $ 5 bonus gift cards until January, which is clearly marked, so I just figured I would use the normal gift cards I purchased, and when those ran out I would buy more. Win Win for customer & business it seems like. So I continued to come in pretty much everyday(minimum 4 times a week) and order 2 paninis &2 coffees, use my Coupon 201, and when the giftcards ran out I bought 2 more… So I’m basically spending 50 dollars a week at Corner Bakery, seems like something that a business would want right? REPEATCUSTOMERS. Well, about 2 weeks in the manager was at the cashier and told me that I couldnt use my Coupon 201. «Coupon 201 doesn’t work. It’s not a real coupon» she said. I Let her know that I had been using it for 2 weeks almost everyday and sometimes if the scanning machine is having trouble scanning the code off the iPhone the other employees have been kind enough to just enter 201 into the system and it works. She said«no, thats fraud. your coupon is fraud. it doesnt work. we dont accept that. the website where you found the coupon is fraud too.» um… okay? way to go customer service. So i didnt get the coupon… ill try again tomorrow with someone who knows what they are talking about(and is hopefully a little more cordial to customers). The next day I had a different cashier and what do you know? Coupon 201 works! I guess its not fraud, and im not some kind of breakfast criminal… wrong. Seems like the manager found out I had used coupon 201 again and had some kind of huddle with the cashiers that day because when I came in the next day and tried to get my usual 10+ dollar order the cashier said«this coupon doesnt work». I quickly explained my situation to her and she said«let me go ask one second ill be right back». She comes back a minute later and says«this coupon is fraud». …Fraud? wtf? This isnt identity theft — this is a Coupon that CLEARY works in the businesses own system! how is that fraud? If you dont want a coupon to be legitimate, why does the system accept it? Okay I have another idea… So the next time I come into corner bakery I order online and submit the coupon code through the app. SURELY if it works in a consumer app and not even on the cashier side it cant be fraud right? Right! it works! Boom… no more being treated poorly by management, and no more being denied a legitimate coupon to a customer who spends $ 200 a month at a breakfast place. …wrong! The day after that I did the same thing, but THIS time when I went in and the cashier was checking out my order, another employee came over, whispered something in her ear, and then she said corrected the amount of my order to not honor the $ 3 off from coupon code 201. then slithered away. SERIOUSLY? The manager and the employees here have no regard for customer service, general politeness, or the concept of coupons — GETCUSTOMERSINTOYOURBUSINESS, CHARMTHEMWITHCUSTOMERSERVICE&ALLOWTHEMTOEXPERIENCETHEQUALITYPRODUCT&ENVIRONMENTWHICHISYOURBUSINESS. at least thats my take on it from the 5+ years I worked in sales. …terrible.

Excellent, healthy food choices. Good Service. Crowded and Popular, but not too noisy. They’d get five stars from me, if they added more electrical outlets. A lot of customers work on their computers here(some are on ). I wish they extended courtesy outlets, like the Starbucks, 200ft away, that has cell chargers built into their tables.

I usually don’t drink coffee. I don’t like Starbucks. I don’t like Diedrich. I don’t like Seattle’s Best or Coffee Bean. They are all bitter and gross. Corner Bakery’s hazelnut cream coffee, however, is delicious. It is smooth, aromatic and most importantly, never leaves a bitter aftertaste. It has plenty of caffeine to jump start my day or keep me going through my daily grind. I love mellowing it out with nonfat milk and sweetening it with honey. The salads and pastas are good too but I usually come for the hazelnut cream coffee.

Got a coupon for a free birthday dessert and stopped by since I was in the area. Big parking lot. Staff was friendly. Fudge Brownie — $ 2.59 — Decent brownie but lacked any fudge texture at all. More of a chocolate cake then a brownie. Also, a bit dry. Disappointed.

A long, long day of work and to be frank I could not think of anywhere better to go. I happened to be in the marshals nearby so I decided on corner bakery. I’ve been to corner bakery in the past(Not this location) so I figured why not. 8:50pm on a Friday night and a good meal is all I want. Not enough energy for anything else. It’s a large menu as I remembered and being a little intimidated, I went to what I thought was safe which was the ½ panini and Caesar salad. The salad was fine but was surprised me were 2 of the croutons which were insanely spicy. I think they may have been mixed up with some other spice mix. Luckily I had a drink but that didn’t bother me too much. The clunker on the plate was the sandwich. Now I’m no culinary expert but I know the panini sandwich is made on a press that is heated on both sides allowing the toasty goodness on both sides. What was strange was that the bread was toasty but everything in between was cold. The meat was cold and the sandwich wasn’t even hot enough to melt the cheese. Do they toast it than add the filling in later? A bit heavy on the mustard but I don’t fault them because I didn’t ask for lighter mustard. Taste was okay. If I’d ordered a cold sandwich I would’ve been happier that’s for sure. Can’t really comment on the service as it wasn’t that busy. Maybe next time if there’s one. At least I got to hear the Dodgers hit a few homers while I was sitting there perplexed about my meal.

Walked into this location to take a quick break from driving back from Vegas for 6 hours got a kale Caesar salad it’s was ok… But the customer service at this location made my jaw drop. 3 – 4 different people made rotations just to see if we needed anything or if everything was alright. Nowadays you don’t see that and if u do its so basic not heartfelt so Thank you :)

Variety of healthy breakfast items: fresh fruit, breakfast paninis, «flats»(pita sandwiches) smoothies, frappes, steel cut oatmeal, pastries, the list goes on! Everything is so FRESH! Plus they have nice little touches like salsa for your breakfast sandwiches, a variety of oatmeal toppings and their fresh fruit, which can be added onto a breakfast sandwich order, was very impressive: blueberries, pineapple, green apples, strawberries, purple grapes, and cantaloupe. Definitely a refreshing mix. It was nice too how they were handing out samples for their new tropical smoothie. This, coupled with free wifi, made the wait in line totally bearable! I was also surprised by how reasonable the prices were. Breakfast for about five bucks. Glad I happened upon it while shopping nearby. Wish we had a place like this in the Bay Area.

Tried the new spicy asian pork and it was okay. I think it would have been better if the bread was toasted instead of super soft. It’s not something I’d try again. Also had the chili which my bf really enjoyed but I didn’t like it all… i dont even want to say what it looks like. Lemon twist: best part of the meal! The lemon bar is also delicious but then again I really like lemon desserts! I think I’ll stick to my regular chicken pesto from now on :)

We decided to stop in on a Sunday morning since we had a gift card for this place. Since it’s located in a large plaza there were plenty of parking to be found. However once you stepped into the Corner Bakery Café, the place was packed! There were even people waiting outside. FOOD: –The Power Panini Thins: Applewood Smoked Bacon was DELICIOUS! With the price tag of only $ 3.99, you can’t go wrong. But you must eat it with the salsa. Oh boy does it enhance the flavor! The portion is just right, light enough but fills you up. –Hot Chai Latte with Soy Milk.(By the way there is an additional charge of $ 0.39 for soy milk which they failed to mention.) I really like the Keurig Chai Tea Latte. I have to say, Corner Bakery Café is the closest in coming to taste just like the Keurig version. I’ve tried all other Chai Tea Lattes at the other large chain coffee places and none of them tastes as good as this. SERVICE: The service is extremely slow. I ordered the food to go because of all the people that were dining in. I’m standing there and I see my food just sitting there on the counter. This is the reason why the 2 stars: my Chai Latte incident. My name was called and I was handed my drink. When it was placed into my hand I was surprised to feel how light it was. In fact it was so light, it felt like it was half empty! So I opened the cup and sure enough, my cup was only 2⁄3 filled. So I go back to the counter and ask the manager about my drink. She ask the barista that was standing right next to her what happened with my drink and she replied that the foam wasn’t working. When I heard that I said, «You’re kidding right? 1⁄3 of the cup is foam? I don’t think so.» No apologies from the barista. The manager just ended up pouring soy milk into my drink. I’m all about honesty. Everyone makes mistakes and I understand, and that’s fine. But when you fail to mention/admit a mistake, that is dishonest and unprofessional. SUMMARY: Love the food. Hate the service. Check your food. Make sure you get all of what you’re paying for!
