The valentines specials were delicious! The Short ribs over risotto was filled with flavor and the bow-tie carbonara was cooked perfectly aldente. I love the versatile menu, they always have what I’m craving. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I give this place 5 stars– welcome to the neighborhood!

We have eaten here many times before, approximately three times a week since they opened. I always had good food with no complaints. The reason I am writing this review is because of the service on February 6, 2016. My wife placed a phone order at 9:37pm and asked if their kitchen was open. The girl that answered said that the kitchen closed at 10:00pm. The girl took the order and said it would be done in 15 minutes. At 9:50pm, my wife received a call from the business which I assume was the manager or owner. He wanted to know where we were. My wife said we were about 10 minutes away. The manager started to tell my wife that they were closing and needed to go. He explained that he needed to give his employees a ride to the train and if they miss the train he will have to drive them into the city. My wife kept apologizing and was very upset that they might be late to catch their train. She explained to him that she did ask what time they did closed and the girl said the«kitchen closes at 10pm». You would figure there is some cleanup time after the kitchen closes. Nevertheless, my wife then offers to pay over the phone to make this process faster, and the manager said it could wait till we got there. A few minutes later, the manager called again and asked if we can pay over the phone. We paid over the phone and my wife had to hear about the train again etc… So we arrived at Nonna’s exactly at 10pm and the manager is by the front door telling me to «Come! Come! Come!» while waiving his hand at me like I am a child. He begins to tell me about the train and if they are late he will have to drive them to New York City. I told him that my wife called and asked what time they closed and he responded by saying«I was here and I heard the phone conversation, she was told we will close at 10pm» I told him it was 10pm now, and he interrupted me telling me about the train again. At that point, I told him we would never order from his place again and that there are many other places that we can order from. He just shrugged his shoulders not caring. His worker then put menus in my order and I laughed saying«I am never coming here again». I took the menus out and the manager quickly took them from my hand and placed them in the pile of other menus. Surprisingly, this time the food wasn’t good like the other times. I guess they were in a rush to make it. Moreover, they forgot to pack utensils. I will be spreading the word to my friends and family that frequent this place about the horrible service and attitude we received. * This was the first negative review on social media I have ever left.

Nonna’s is the perfect casual Italian restaurant. I head there with my husband at least once a month and really enjoy their selections. The restaurant itself is cozy and never too busy so we haven’t had to wait. They deliver, too, which is convenient and always efficient. The quality of their food is perhaps the very best in the area. I am particularly a fan of their grilled chicken and broccoli rabe and their eggplant rollatini. The staff at Nonna’s are friendly and accommodating. I will continue to recommend Nonna’s to my friends in the area.

By far my favorite Italian place in Bergen county. The food is consistent and so delicious. The friendly staffs there usually start off by serving warm, fresh bruschetta. AMAZING! Then I usually get the garden salad with grilled chicken. They serve so much chicken even in a size small portion and then for my entrée, I usually get the linguini with red clam sauce. SOGOOD!!! Honestly, even without the food, I would come back many more times because of the staffs. They’re all so kind and friendly!

Surprisingly not a bad place! I was actually on my way to another Italian restaurant off route 17 and drove passed this on 17N. My husband and I decided to try this location since it was new for us and we have yet to try it. Ambiance is cute and friendly. As soon as you walk in, it opens to the dining area. The pick ups and ordered to go is to the right hand side as soon as you walk in. The place was very clean and emitted a warm/comfortable welcome rather than a super fancy dining experience The staff was amazingly friendly. We were immediately greeted with a huge smile and welcoming. We were seated right away but we were not immediately offered a drink while looking over our menus. This was fine because a waiter, who seemed to be the head waiter or possibly supervisor on shift came up to our table and said he would be our server. When we told him we were being served, he quickly acknowledge his staff who was in training of a job well done. It was nice to have someone constantly checking up on you without being overwhelmingly persistent. The food was surprising really good. I love Italian food and it’s really hard to find Italian food gross. My husband got the baked ziti, which I thought tasted wonderful. The cheese melted right on top and the ziti was cooked firmly but not too soft where it’ll melt off your fork. The gravy for the ziti was a little bit on the liquidy side, but it was over all great meal. I ordered a chicken cutlet wrap on a spinach wrap with a side of fries. The chicken cutlet wrap consisted of breaded chicken with bacon and sundries tomatoes. The fries were cooked to absolute perfection! I love my fries crunchy and soft on the inside and that was how they delivered. I would like to try their pizza next time because it’s sort of like brick oven pizza. I would recommend this restaurant for someone looking for good Italian food. the prices were a bit on the higher side depending on what you order, but I’m beginning to find the menu at normal price when I go out to eat!

I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. I hadn’t eaten all day and my coworker and I decided to try this new place: Nonna’s Pizza. Granted we didn’t order Pizza so maybe they actually do have award winning Pizzas, but their BBQ Chicken wrap was an absolute disgrace to all food ever made. This was not edible. My first bite, I thought I had gotten a piece of chicken cartilage so i spit that piece out and took another bite. Turns out the whole next bite was the same, it felt like I had a golf balls worth of chicken cartilage in my mouth, the chicken cutlet was so rubbery that I had mistaken it for cartilage, I couldn’t chew it, I couldnt even rip it apart with my fingers… It was like the chicken cutlet was cooked last week, then microwaved, then frozen, and then reheated in the microwave a week later and put into my wrap… Seriously a horrifying experience… their other food may be good, but definitely stay away from anything that has chicken cutlet in it. Whoever the Nonna is that established this organization should be ashamed that someone sent out food like that.

Best pizza delivery in this area(near Oradell). On top of that they really hit it out of the park with Italian entrees. Great menu with much more than pizza!!! Their gravy and dough are great. Pizza dough is just the right thickness. Usually we try to order from our own town but have made the switch to Nonnas. Love that they use the EAT24 app. Makes everything so easy!!!

I only gave it one star because I was not allowed to put minus 1 million stars… spent $ 90 on delivery, ordered a cheesesteak without peppers and onions because my brother is allergic. they made the sandwich with SO many peppers and onions that we had to throw it out immediately. They forget our French fries as well with our chicken parm sandwiches… we call back to explain the allergy and the fries that were missing… and the manager said that WE must not have mentioned the allergy and that he will resend the sandwich ONLY because we spent $ 90…as to the fries… they called back to re-confirm our order because they wanted to make sure we weren’t giving hem a «run around»…THEN that is when they decided to re-deliver their mistakes… awful service along with poor customer relations… they lost a loyal customer and I hope they see this post…

Had a coupon after receiving their menu at home and came based on Unilocal reviews. SOLID pizza in a competitive space, with extras and good service, hence the five stars. Nice dining room and very attentive, pleasant staff. Really like the complimentary warm bread AND bruschetta to boot, nice touches. Margherita pizza was very good. Each ingredient flavorful and fresh. Could smell the basil a few feet away. Also ordered Caprese. Mozzarella was thick and smooth. Oil, great. Maybe an extra tomato or two would be good but overall really nice going down. Only drawback is they are on dreaded Route 17 which is almost always a parking lot. Good service and extras make the headache worth it though — we’ll be regulars.

Went there for dinner based on Unilocal reviews and everything was delicious! They started off with complementary bruschetta and bread. The tomatoes on the bruschetta were super fresh and tasty. We ordered angle hair pasta with shrimp in a marinara sauce and a bow tie pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe. Both was really large portion sizes and the food was delicious. Service was very friendly also. Highly recommended!

Found a great casual Italian place to add to the Friday night rotation. Most of the restaurant is sit down dining but there is a small area for quick slices. Started with their complimentary bruschetta and bread basket. Loved the roasted garlic rosemary infused olive oil at the table. I could drizzle that on everything! They have both gas and brick oven pizza ovens for your preference. Pastas have great flavors and cooked al dente. I agree their prices are a little higher compared to similar restaurants in the area but our experience was enjoyable and we’ll be back. Located in the same strip as Verizon so parking available and byob with no corkage fee.

Have to say I stopped in here for a simple meal and was blown away. The quality and quantity surpassed what I expected with both the appetizers, entrees and service. For what may seem like just a highway pizza joint, this is definitely a five star meal. I highly recommend the hot antipasto appetizer for two as it could feed almost four.

Very good food! its a little more expensive than other places around here but you get what you pay for and they have generous serving sizes. All of the food we have had so far tastes home made. When we first got their menu in the mail it said nothing about delivery but they do deliver(at least in paramus) and they serve warm rolls with all of their entrees which is much better than the stale french bread usually served.

I ordered(online) a pizza, eggplant parm and a chopped salad. It all was so very good. The pizza was delicious, the eggplant parm amazing and chopped salad was actually chopped and filling! I will definitely order again. The delivery man was very nice, too. It is a great convenience to be able to order online with a credit card. I just wish I could use my coupon online.

This is a new restaurant in my neighborhood. Upon entering I was quickly greeted and seated. Before I was settled our server brought bruschetta. Nice touch. We ordered mini arancini as an appetizer. They were Sicilian style(meat and peas in the center). They give you 3 for $ 9.95. They are served with a fair of red sauce on top of them. I must say I didn’t like them at all because they were sweet. I thought maybe it was the sauce, sadly it wasn’t. Although the sauce was sweet too. When I got to the center, the cheese was still solid, meaning they We ordered soup. My daughter ordered pasta y fagioli and I escarole and bean soup. When it arrived, there wasn’t any pasta in the pasta fagioli soup. Oops. It’s kind of the main event. So anyway, they were very accommodating in adding pasta to the soup. The escarole and bean soup never got eaten because it was made in a tomato base. It’s not what I wanted. The presentation was nice. It appeared to be the same bean soup they served my daughter and had the addition of escarole. I spoke to the owner of the restaurant(not Italian) and he explained it was Americanized. They décor was nice, the staff friendly and service was good.

Just received the takeout menu in the mail and it said free delivery so I thought why not try it. I ordered something I thought I would regret as takeout, Baked Clams Oreganata. Delicious, my only complaint, no enough of the delicious white wine sauce! The garlic bread was fresh and extremely flavorful. Main course, Orecchiete Con Braciole, wow, won’t find that on other local takeout menus. Fast and efficient delivery too! Even the young lady who answered the phone was polite, she got everything right! Welcome to the neighborhood! BTW they offer whole wheat options, even Piazza and Gluten Free foods too!
