I came in to get a bad haircut fixed(from another salon that butchered my hair), and Sue was able to fix the choppy ends. She was so diligent and took her time. Best experience! Very nice and understanding. It helps to show a picture of what you want your hair to look like and talk to the stylist beforehand. Definitely recommend this place, especially for naturally straight Asian hair. Sue knows how to cut well. Thank you!!!

Pat does an amazing job and she LISTENS to what you want done on your hair. She really knows what she’s doing and for that reason, she’s the only person I trust with my hair. Prices are really reasonable, but scheduling and appointments could be improved. I’ve made appointments, came at that time and have had to wait 20 – 30 minutes because she was working on someone else’s hair. I don’t mind waiting, but I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re in a rush.

My bf at the time had been coming to this place for 10+ years. Friendly staff, inexpensive($ 10+tip for men’s haircut), never been disappointed. Most of the customers are Asian. The plaza has a pretty small parking lot with tight parking so just be wary of that. Usually walk in is fine, the longest wait he has experienced is maybe 20 minutes. The appearance is a bit lacking, but the service is consistent!

I’ve been coming here for years as my childhood friend’s mom owns and runs this place. Keep in mind that I have really really low maintenance when it comes to hair. I rarely do my hair and it’s usually clipped up or in a ponytail anyway. My hair was getting long to almost my hip and I came here to chop off 3 inches and get it layered. I’m pretty certain that more than 3 inches came off, but I didn’t care so much. I like that Pat will layer my hair with a razor rather than just scissors. It seems like she has more control that way. For $ 20 it’s better than any haircut at Supercuts and gets me in and out in a jiffy.

I read the previous reviews and entered the place with high hopes. My hair was down to my hips. I came in to cut my hair to donate 10 inches of it. The woman that cut my hair suggested that 12 inches is the minimum in order to donate it and I was okay with that. I gave specific instructions to layer it medium length and even showed a picture of how short I wanted my hair, which was completely ignored by the way. Instead of cutting 12 inches off, she cuts off 17(after placing my ponytail against a ruler). She made it seem she was going to cut it right at my chest. I ended up with a short bob, a cut I definitely DIDNOT ask for. After my haircut and me saying that it was shorter than I had asked for, she had the nerve to say«It was too long at the beginning anyway.» If you are looking for people that do not know how to follow directions on how you want your hair, this is the place to go. I suggest BRING A RULERTOYOURAPPOINTMENT!!! MAYBE they’ll get it right.

This is a hole in a wall beauty salon but they have awesome service. I took my son here for his haircut and they did well with a 2 yr old tot. Great service and that’s a big deal!

My heart gets filled with joy whenever I come into Pat’s. She has been cutting my hair since I was little. There is something joyous about coming in and being called na-luck in Thai by Pat and her coterie of stylists. Pat labored on my hair — and then charged me less than what I would’ve paid elsewhere. Of course, it is worth pointing out that she did charge my fiancé 50% more for a hair cut than what Lloyd B. paid, but he’s also a non-Thai so maybe that actually makes a difference. So perhaps it all balanced out since, again, the woman spent like 80 minutes thinning out my hair, and lecturing me to get a flat iron.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. The place is called Pat’s so if you’re here for a trim you best ask for Pat. She is a perfectionist. She’s great with men’s hair, especially when it’s hard to manage hair that’s straight as a broomstick. I haven’t tried the other people, but why bother when you’ve got the owner cutting your hair. Once she’s done cutting your hair, you’ll get a quick rinse and return to your seat. Pat doesn’t necessarily blow dry and style your hair for you, but she’ll advise you and walk you though it so you can style it yourself right then and there with the gels and hairspray in front of you. This place is a hole in the wall and isn’t in the best area, BUT for 10 bucks, it’s ridiculously cheap and you’ve got the best hairstylist in the valley.
