My friend that loves this place so I tried it. Very tasty as we had the pad Thai and the fried catfish, it was a little on the spicy side but good. Service was good as well.

Went for lunch and waited sooooo long for the food. We ordered sate beef as an appetizer but finally got it when we were almost finished. It didn’t taste like beef… Or was old or something. The wait was definitely not worth it. The other dishes– Panaeng beef and pork were ok… The service was not good and ppl that arrived after us got their food way before us. When we asked where our food was, the server told us in no uncertain terms that we were a lower priority then the phone orders. It’s also only cash… I don’t recommend.

I remember this place as a child and I haven’t been here for at least 10 – 15 years. I finally came here again after years and years and man, have I been missing out! I love Thai food and I do not know why I haven’t tried this place out again. Their food is excellent and the customer service is great. I love how they make you feel at home and they are always attentive. The prices are very reasonable, too. My fav is the pad see ew but all other dishes are delicious. I have been here 3 times in the last 3 months and I haven’t been disappointed.

My wife discovered this hidden gem about 20 years ago when she worked in Sun Valley, and we now find any excuse to stop by whenever we’re in the neighborhood. Whether dining in or takeout, the food is always super delicious. Love the Pad Thai, Orange Chicken and the Thai Tea, to name a few. We have always found the staff extremely friendly and they remember you on return visits. You might say that its a hole-in-the-wall, but still a very cozy environment… despite the extremely tight parking spaces.

Ok, after reading that this is the best Thai in the SF Vley, I had to try it myself to get the satisfaction of having such a meal. I’m not interested about the parking, the service so much and not at all the décor. Just the food! Well we ordered 5 or 6 plates. A seafood soup, another fish with squid shrimp mussels, and a thin brown sauce. Also a red curry shrimp with carrots dish, a Pad See Ew with tofu, and another dish. The Pad see Ew was the best out of all. I have had this dish at many places and this was done very well. Probably a top 3 or 5 if I can put it in such a ranking. But all the other dishes were a little disappointing. They aren’t bad, but they didn’t taste like they had preparation or care in making them. They were OK, mediocre and that’s about it. The shrimp was not overcooked like a number of places do, and that was good, but one seafood dish was overly salty, another veg dish was just ok, the veggies could have been better. Anyway, the prices are a couple bucks less than other place on a few dishes while others are much the same, so it’s not like you’ll save anything if you care or go very often. If you want some of the best Thai in the SF Valley I would recommend … Lum Ka Nad(Northridge), Khung Dang(Chatsworth) as top 2. While The first is more culinary, and Khung Dang is more home style.(The homestyle noodle soup is great as an alt to the staple I have grown used to!) Then I would say this place falls under them and along the lines of about 5 other places like Amazing Siam, etc. This place also lacks some classic Thai dishes the others have. Or at least the innovative chef creations the others have. Other than the food the places décor is not something to write about, the furniture is good, but floor color is very wrong for a place to eat. The plants, and tree sized green foliage inside are also distracting and out of place. Everything, like furniture can use a better cleaning. The counter of that place is just an eye soar. There looks to be no reason to have it. All they need is a small area for to go orders, which I noticed was pretty busy. So I can give this place a 2 to 2.5 stars. Btw the service was great, very nice and friendly waitress. Excellent service. The food was a 2, but our server gets a 5. So 2 stars, meaning I have had better… easily, so I can’t say I would drive down here an extra 10 – 20 minutes when other places that are better are just as close.

I like this place. I ordered beef with mint over rice which was flavorful and delicious. I also ordered their Thai tea which was so good I had to order two! So if you are craving Thai, this place is definitely worth a shot. Keep in mind though that this is a cash only place so remember to bring some dough.

Delicious food! #77-mint chicken over rice is the bomb! It’s cash only. The owner is always very kind and is great with remembering faces. I used to work nearby and he still remembers me when I stop by.

I have been coming here for over 20 years. The staff are always incredibly friendly and caring. This was my grandma’s favorite restaurant and they were devastated when she passed. They always managed to accommodate my large family and the food has been on point since day one. The menu is extensive and you can get pretty much anything vegetarian. I know that Thai food is is known for their noodles and meat, but my favorite thing here are the soups. The hot pots and the egg noodle are some of my favorites anywhere!

Really good pad thai, and tender shrimp… which was plentiful, too, actually a couple more pieces than I was expecting. They are conveniently near Kaiser, but the parking lot is difficult to get in & out. Maybe I was just a little nervous because I was driving my sister’s brand new Mercedes, LOL. Cash only, which I’m sure saves them fees, but is a hassle.

I stumbled on this place when I swerved in Roscoe traffic thinking there was a new film processing place I’d missed. The«film store» looks like storage now for imported goods. Those who’ve seen«Big Trouble In Little China» can reference Egg’s warehouse. I was surprise to see a Thai restaurant here. This corner, if you blink you’d miss it. But, I feel this is legit Thai. I see a lot of Asian faces, and not just the mirror across from me. I got the beef noodle soup. The server asked me the noodle size. Now, this is THEVERYFIRSTTIME anyone has ever asked me this. I’m not kidding. THE very first time. I was speechless. I was just staring like a guppy with its mouth open, having beached itself. I’m sure she rolled her eyes… get on with it dude. The broth is solid. Garlicky and thai beef flavor. It finishes strong. The portion, for $ 6.75…not bad. Smaller than a typical bowl at a phở place. Bigger than the former Ras Noodle around the corner(that shit was a finger bowl). It’s not spicy(although it advertises as such). But there are enough spices on the table to fix that. WHITEPEPPER! This is a nice divvy-out-of-the-way-take-a-special-someone-to-prove-your-cultured joint. The somewhat mediocre rating is because 1) they only take cash 2) parking is awful 3) getting back on Roscoe heading west is suicide(good thing Kaiser is next door)

Cheap! In the good way. Lots of food for not a lot of cash.(Cash Only) The egg roll wrapping was a little on the thick side, so it was kinda doughy toward the middle. but the flavor was good they were pretty tasty reheated the next day. The Chicken Satay was below average but not bad. The peanut sauce and cucumbers were good. The Pad See-Ew with chinese broccoli was really good.

Where should I start… ive been coming to this place since i moved in to this neighborhood almost 20 years ago. this place has been in a steady decline since then. It use to be full all the time now it sits mostly vacant, and based on my last experience I understand why. The service was awful, our waitress clearly had no interest in being there and it showed in her lackadaisical approach to order taking and on her face. The food took almost 30 minutes to make it out to the table, this might be overlooked in a place that is packed. Aside from my party there were two other tables being occupied. My appetizer showed up ½ way through my entrée and they were some of the worst wontons i have even had. Hard and the filling was literally the size of a pinky nail. This place is sad, just sad.

not impressed. went here to get some takeout with friends this evening. I consider myself pretty experienced when it comes to thai food and although this place felt pretty authentic inside there were some issues. I ordered shrimp pad thai, which was a pretty good deal…7.25 for 6 shrimp. however, when I got home with my meal I was very confused. instead of the pad thai noodles my pad thai was made was some very thin round rice noodle that resembled angel hair pasta and was basically a mass of noodles I had to cut with a knife and fork. the food tasted alright but I was NOT given pad thai… it seems somewhat different from the images on here so maybe it was a fluke but I stilk find it pretty unacceptable. my friends seemed pleased with their food… garlic chicken and beef with broccoli. the service was okay, but slow, and the staff spoke very little english, which maybe have contributed to the weird pad thai I received. cash only, which would normally have been an issue as I never carry cash, but I just happened to go to the atm on the way over. I would like to add as well that I just vomited my entire meal… however I will not hold it against them since I don’t have any evidence that the food caused my stomach upset although it seems like a decent restauarant, i cannot forgive those errors and would not return here. there are much better places that are also a better value.
