I’m not sure about the Vietnamese food. I ordered phở It wasn’t bad but It didn’t fix the itch for me. I also got a Vietnamese sandwich which wasn’t bad either but it wasn’t really what I had in mind with. I think the place is really a unique idea id come back and try the Mexican food it looked really good. The service was great I have no complaints in that area. Everyone was super friendly and attentive.

I shouldn’t say I was surprised at how much I enjoyed their Banh Mi sandwich considering the owner of this place once ran one of the most authentic & consistently delicious Thai restaurants on Sherman Way Blvd. and used to run a successful food stand at Wat Thai in North Hollywood. However, I was surprised to learn that she opened a Vietnamese/Mexican fusion restaurant right near Kaiser Permanente in Panorama City. I know her Thai food well but I had no idea she and her staff at Mi Yo could also produce a delicious Banh Mi sandwich and tacos carnitas at the same restaurant. As a matter of fact she serves Vietnamese, Thai, and Mexican food at this small restaurant that seems popular with the Kaiser lunch crowd. As for my Banh Mi it came served on a perfectly fresh toasted French roll with marinated grilled pork. The meat was beyond tasty and it had everything that you’d expect on a traditional Vietnamese Banh mi sandwich. I wasn’t disappointed at all considering it came with tortilla chips and salsa too… Unexpected but delicious ! I’ll be back! As for the dinning space it’s a small restaurant, kind of industrial, and seems to cater more to a quick stop lunch crowd. It’s all self service!

The owner is nice. This place is good for people who want to stop by for a quick bite. The price is fair and I think it’s too low. The quality and taste is worth more than the price imo. Always come here occasionally.

Ok I’ve been here a few times in the past but was never impressed. The burritos are huge but the meat was always too chewy. The Phở never tasted legit. Noodles were usually undercooked and broth tasted like medicine. Although it’s not much of a shocker. Having Mexican and Vietnamese food in one restaurant was kind of a weird idea to begin with. But thank the heavens I didn’t see that little worm in my food or I would have gone running down the street screaming like maniac. That’s disgusting.

Love having this place as a little lunch option! I have been seeing my co– workers bring back Miyos for the past 3 months and finally found this place! I am a creature of habit and always get the chicken bowl which tastes like heaven. It has everything from beans, Spanish rice, lettuce, chicken, sour cream, guacamole, and pica de gallo and it makes my heart happy. The are surprisingly big(to me– my hubby says I can’t eat that much) and I usually can eat it as two meals — also you can get this in a tostada bowl! The restaurant is clean and has some seats inside sitting and the menu is so interesting ranging from Vietnamese to Mexican :) Definitely recommend this place !

Had a beef burrito grande. It was perfect. The salsa was kind of weird though, a little too sweet and a little not very hot. Otherwise that steak inside was excellent; no gristle, melty in the mouth.

I used to enjoy coming to this spot once a week for lunch but I wont be coming here anymore. I came about two weeks ago and half way through our meal we noticed a baby cockroach walking across the table. And when you see a baby roach you know what that means!!! Disgusting! We got up and left. They really need to do something about this because their food and service is actually really good. But I wont be going back. I’m done.

Cockroach by their soda machine!!! I used to love this place! Not anymore!!! The food is delicious but this is a complete turn off. If the roach was out during daylight imagine at night when the lights are out! Yuck!!!

This is the most perfect place for me! Vietnamese? Mexican? Omg omg omg! The two things I crave the most in this world. except for cakes and cookies and coffee and purses. But I digress. I’ve only been here once but ordered the vermicelli. I was skeptical at first, but was pleasantly surprised. The people here were great! The restaurant is clean. And the variety is perfect. I can satisfy my random cravings of horchata and phở all from one spot!

I’ve come here a couple of times now and love it! Their egg rolls, phở, and chicken curry are bomb. I haven’t tried their other menu times but i’m sure they are all really good as well. I just wish they would stay open longer on weekdays and keep the store open on weekends as well.

This place is SUPERGOOD. It’s a nice place to get your fix of either Mexican or Vietnamese food in one place! Their phở is pretty decent(in my opinion)! I had their chicken phở on two occassions and it was satisfying. I’m excited to want to try their burritos and tacos! The people there are super nice too! Definitely coming back every once in a while!

Mexican-Vietnamese? It’s better than you think. I’m not a big fan of Vietnamese but I enjoyed the beef phở. The broth had a wonderful meaty taste to it. The phở was served with a side dish of fresh sprouts and mint leaves. The large bowl of phở was full of noodles, plenty of beef(that was tender not chewy), beef balls, and beef tendons. I also tried a steak taco which was also packed with meat. There was actually enough for a second tortilla. Good stuff. There’s a cart for salsas and sauces too if you like it with a little more kick. There’s no table service here, but the service behind the counter is super friendly. Good food and reasonably priced. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a visit.
