My favorite place to eat on campus: there is a lot of choice, the prices are low, and the staff is friendly. Some people are upset because this cafeteria is inside the hospital, and therefore the ambience can be kind of heavy. But really, there’s nowhere else on campus that you can get so much bang for your bucks. They have sushi Fridays that are delicious…

The food here can be pretty cheap, and at the same time pretty mediocre. It’s not bad, and certainly better than I had expected about hospital cafeteria food. They have a salad bar, a grill and a cooked entire section. The grill is my usual go-to, and the Ranch Grilled Chicken Wrap is probably my favorite among the options. Prices are pretty good considering they can probably charge 10−20% more without impacting the demand since there aren’t too many options for those in need for a quick meal while visiting. A decent option for sure when you are hungry. Just watch the time cos they close at 8pm in the evenings.

I feel very lukewarm about this place. Their Thursday lunches are decent for the price; they do slices of turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and broccoli. I like coming on Thursdays when I’m feeling in the Thanksgiving mood. There have been other times though, when I’ve come and accidentally spent too much money. They sometimes charge entrees as part of an entire meal, and sometimes they just charge the a la carte price as a side. I’m never sure which is appropriate, so I once spent $ 12 here, completely on accident. I couldn’t really argue with the cashier, because I had no idea how they charged for things. Their breakfast is pretty decent though. I got a slice of bacon and some potatoes and eggs, and it came out to about $ 3 for a good sized breakfast. This is a good place to satisfy a Thanksgiving craving, just be aware of pricing!
