We’ve eaten here before. This evening we were not impressed whatsoever, the staff seemed inexperienced and seemed to to favor 31 flavors side than Togos. Seemed that the staff had no knowledge of the sandwiches. I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich with lettuce and mayonnaise. The sandwich was Luke warm bordering cold. I was never offered cheese. The bread was old, lettuce was wilted. My partner ordered the chicken Caesar wrap in a tortilla shell which was old and hard and stiff. Let’s just say that the experience has left our stomachs soured and very queasy. Considering in unducing to vomit just to feel better,. I don’t think we’ll be coming back to this location anytime soon.

Best place to get a sandwich in the AV(even better than Submachine– yeah, I said it!) The food is always fresh and served with a smile. Seriously, the girls that work there could not be any nicer! It’s also great to be able to get some yummy ice cream in the same place too. I prefer the thin deli sliced turkey that they used to serve in their sandwiches but the taste is the same– so that’s why they still get 5 stars from me.

I use to love this place… ever since my last two visits. I’m Done. when I walked in at first I was poorly greeted, then on top of that, this girl what look to be 10 years old come out to make my sandwich… And she goes to a container and starts playing with some bread that looks to be old, and I look at her and I look around to see am I being Punked… just like I pondered I wasn’t…And it took me to ask her… do you have fresh bread… And that’s when she decides to get me some other bread… from what looked like under the counter… if that don’t make it bad… I decided that I just wanted the sandwich… which should have been $ 4…plus tax. And just as I’m getting ready to pay… the bill is $ 6 and change… And I tell her I don’t want the meal… And then she tells me oh’ we don’t just sell sandwiches… And I said so you’re going charger me for the drink anyway and she said yes, I told her give me my cup then, if I’m paying for it… NEVERAGAINWILLTHEYSEEMEANDMYFAMILYAGAIN… BUTMYHUSBANDWARNEDME… ANDSAIDTHEYARE A MESSKNOW… I’LLJUSTSTICKTOSUBWAY… WERE I KNOW I CANEATFRESH…

HUGE fan of Togo’s in NorCal. I’ve now had 2 rotten experiences at various Togo’s, and this one was number 2. Ordered 5 sandwiches on their website, for some reason they needed an hour to prepare them. Okay, we’ll wait. We can walk over in 2 minutes. We get to Togo’s exactly at 1:50 p.m. which is when the website said the order would be ready, and the counter folks are peering at a hand-written note-book sheet of paper. They start filling the order after I told them we had ordered and paid online. They wrap the sandwiches, and I asked if they put the names on the sandwiches. Nice lady says«names, we don’t put names on them. When you phoned them in, you didn’t give us names.» Aye. We didn’t phone, we ordered online. So I sweetly said, «We didn’t phone the order in, we ordered on your website.» And she says, and I’m not making this up, «No you didn’t.» And she’s angry at us. So yeah, we get our sandwiches back to the office, they’re wrong. And we’re disappointed. This was my second attempt to get a freaking Togo’s sandwich, and it was a fail. FAIL!

First time and I’m in love… bye bye subway!!! The three girls that served me were two Caucasian and one may have been hispanic who recommended sourdough bread… and I love love and love the sizes, huge comparing to subway… will never go to subway again… I’m in love with the food and customer service.

Good sandwich shops are hard to find in the AV. Togos is a good go to if you want an authentic, tasty, deli style sandwich. It’s not like one of those amazing local style of deli, but it is a good alternative especially for a chain store.

Visited togos on 7⁄20 just after they opened. As usual, the food is good. The problem was that it was just after opening and the dining room was dirty. I’m not talking about dust on the floor. I’m talking about dirty tables as well. Crumbs, pieces of veggies, dry swipe of some condiment, straw wrappers on some of the tables. Also, the soft drink station had dried soda on its counter. Disappointing, that there seemed to be no clean up the night before. I had my lunch in the dining room. Also disappointed when an employee came through with a cleaning cloth. Looked at the trash and dirt around and ignored that to clean the glass door. Would have liked to have have had clean dining room if there hadn’t been people in to dirty it up.

Really like their sandwiches, but their workers are clueless and always out of something…

For years I’ve been going to TOGO’S. I love their sandwiches and the price is good. However, recently they’ve switched the turkey meat they use. They used to use a nice, thinly sliced turkey slices. Now they use round thick turkey slices(think of the bologna you see at the grocery store), which I don’t like at all. Until they go back to the thin sliced turkey, I’ll be getting my sandwiches from Jersey Mike’s down the street. ETA9÷6÷2013: Hey Matt, thanks for the comment. I’ve tried the new turkey slices 3 times now and I’m sorry, but I don’t like it. Jersey Mike’s has thinly sliced turkey that they slice right before my very eyes. TOGO’S slices are grabbed from a container and who knows where it comes from. Could be packaged turkey for all I know because I’ve never seen anything sliced at TOGO’S. Heck, I can’t even see my sandwich being made at TOGO’S. What are you hiding on the other side of the counter?

I just recently started coming here. Their subs are far better than what you would get at subway. Although a little more expensive than subway I find it well worth it. It costs a little over 5 $ for a 6 inch sub. I’d recomend trying the parmesan cheese bread. I like Jared have also noticed the«crabby lil Asian lady» who lurks in the corners. She doesn’t come out at night though so if you do decide to come here for dinner you won’t have the pleasure of seeing her belittle her employees.

The best place in the AV for sub sandwiches, it’s worth the extra cost and wait compared to Subway. I also love there soups, not too salty and full of flavor. They do take a little time making there sandwiches and a typical wait for 2 subs is about 10 to 15 mins buts it is worth the wait. Unlike Subway if you put this sub in the refrigerator for a few hours or even overnight it WONT get all soggy.

Ok, so I’ve been comin here for a few years, the place is a consistent 4 star. Only issue I’d have to say is the crabby lil Asian lady that sits in the corner scowling(the owner) is a slavemaster to her employees! On more than on occasion ive witnessed her berate an employee over TINY flaws in their sandwhich construction(regardless of the costumers apparent satisfaction) sometimes you need to treat employees with respect and it seems that’s not her forte. But I digress, good food, good variety. Stop in!
