Sizzler

My mother & I went to Sizzler for lunch today. I have a cast on my left leg and am in a wheelchair. I order the salad bar and soup for my mother. I explained I needed assistance in getting items from sAlad bar & carting tray to table, since I am in a wheelchair. The girl behind the counter told me to go to a the table and wait. she said she would come and help. No one ever came to help. My mother finally got up to help. A patron at another table assisted,-someone we didn’t even no! When we needed Another plate. My mother had to get up to find s server & then they would redirect her. No customer service, /​assistance was AvAilable.
As for the food from the salad bar, the onion rings were not crisp and tasted greasy. The guacMole was brown on top, there was a good selection of fresh veggies though. The corn chowder was good with lots of veggies in it

Such a disappointment. My wife and I have been going to Sizzlers for years. This was the first time we tried one since we moved here. I was really hoping we were going to find the quality of food and service as we found at the Redlands, CA location. Unfortunately that was not the case. Whomever the cook was last night, has no business in a kitchen. My food took forever to get and the steak was foul in every way possible. First the steak was cooked completely uneven. I ordered my steak medium well. When I received my food half of the steak was medium cooked and the other half was cooked dead. When I turned the steak over I found that the entire right side was a solid chunk of fat and grissle. Of course the fat was on the end that was cooked medium. So if the steak was not cooked through you know that fat was not either. I stop the waitress and tell her I want a new steak, and that the person cooking food should have never served that steak to a customer. The waitress took my steak back and after about 10 mins the waitress returns and says it going to be 5 more minutes. I asked for a manager. As we are waiting for my steak to come back, I start to eat the salad I made at the salad bar. Of course when making my salad the finishing touch was bacon bits. As I start to eat my salad I bit into a huge chunk of bacon fat. Almost lost it right there. I explained everything and showed here what I got. She was polite and very happy to issue a credit for the next time we came to that location. Just then the waitress returns with a new steak. Again the steak was cooked uneven with one end being cooked to death, just like leather. The other end was was so under cooked I could not even try it or enjoy. This is without a doubt one of the worse Sizzlers.

Food quality is not the best but you really get a great bang for the buck with the salad and soup bar. I always come out of there over-​full. Service is generally good. I LOVE their yeast bread.

It just took too long to get my food 55 minutes!!! I don’t think I ever waited so long and the steak tastes a little rubbery for me I will NOT come back again

Blanch was absolutely fantastic and this was the last customer of the saturday night.
She kept up with our party of four and made this late meal absolutely great.

Had the most amazing service sat May 9,2015 We had a large crowd and our server was so caring and making sure we had refills on our drinks and clean napkins since our grandson spilled his drink in the table I just want to thank you sizzler for hiring such amazing people. I do believe her name was blanka thank you again good service the time was 6:00 pm

We always enjoy going to the Palmdale Sizzler. Great food. Great salad bar. Last night was exceptionally great because of the awesome service we received from Blanch. She was so attentive and kind. Looking forward to our next trip there. (:

Just came from Sizzle and I had the best waitress her name is Tami. Can’t say enough good things about her she made my dining experience so pleasurable. She is very attentive to the customers needs. She kept getting me things and refilling my water without me asking her to plus always asking me if I needed anything. She was doing this not just at my table but all the tables she was in charge of. I hope management knows what a prize employee they have. Thanks again Tami!

The food was the worst we’ve had. We been coming here for years. Today just about all the food tasted really bad. Overdone steak, then when they came back, very undercooked it and felt very elastic. The spinach salad was rancid. I usually dont leave bad reviews, however i am so dissapointed that i felt the need to give it a negative –1 review. The waitress was great but the food was horrible. We will never come here again. Do yourself a favor and go to a family own restaurant, this corporate restaurant sucks. And I don’t want a free meal, I want my money back.

Over priced. Tasteless food. Crummy service. Had to wait ten minutes to get a refill on coffee. When they have to ration plates as if we were in a concentration camp is completely outrageous. Our dinner rolls never came. They let the croutons stay on the salad making them soggy and disgusting.

Food was yummy. Garlic toast rocked. Always awesome clam chowder. Amy was an amazing waitress.

Worst service. Very disappointed. During our whole meal we received no fork or knife because we were sharing an entrée. Don’t go do not recommend this place at all.

The food was okay for being Sizzler but when it came to service, the server Teresa was horrible. She gave off an attitude like she was annoyed with our table the whole time. Anytime we asked her a question or asked for a refill, she would act like it wasn’t her job to do it. Very annoying waitress. Avoid her!

Staff is super friendly. I like the fruit lemonade beverages. The chicken tenders are a bit too peppery for my tastes. The chicken noodle soup is really good. The Mac and cheese is a bit too thick and the steak looks nothing like the picture lol. It was like a long straight piece of meat for an expensive price. The baked potato is great. I like how you order up front then take your seat. The buffet is limited but still good. The only thing I noticed about this place is the waitress doesn’t wait/​ask for you to cut your steak open to see if the way it’s cooked is alright. Maybe it’s just me but whenever someone in my family orders steaks at other restaurants, they usually do this. Not a big deal, but I think it’s a nice touch and helps prevent any problems early. The waitress was really down to earth and attentive to refilling our drinks. :). This is your usual american dine in so there’s nothing really new to try here.

My hubby and I were frequenters here. We went last night cause their salad bar is really good. Unfortunately they decided to up all the prices :(they used to do entrée and salad bar combos– not anymore.
Now You have to purchase both separately. It was just my husband and I, we got 2 entrees, 2 salad bar trips and 2 drinks. With a tip it was $ 40. I was reviewing my receipt and our waitress asked me what was wrong. I explained the prices seemed really high (hello this is like a buffet, I regard it like Souplantation). She told me that they raised their prices when minimum wage went up. And no longer did the salad bar combos. While I can understand the price change, it was a more than $ 10 increase for us. With that rate change I can get dinner at a nicer place like yard house. We could eat at souplantation twice for that price.
Our waitress was SO sweet. And it’s not her fault they raised the prices. But I won’t be back here unless hubby drags me :/

My hear breaks as I eat my beautiful Steak… Not because it’s a crying shame that an animal had to taste so good but because I originally wanted to go to the Mediterranean Cuisine across the parking lot but as I pulled in the wife mentioned, she had never been to Sizzler… So naturally I must satisfy her wishes. Food was great the people were very nice and my daughter enjoyed the fires… Spent about $ 45 on two 12oz steaks Lobster, and fries with drinks. Not too shabby. It was definitely cheaper than I had anticipated. I’m happy.

Went in again with the In-​laws. Understand they LOVE the Malibu chicken I would rather go to McD’s which I’m boycotting due to their habitual filthy stores, but that’s another story… Wife and I got the hibachi chicken and salad bar. The Salad bar was adequate, service was good, the chicken was like shoe leather. I took a taste and told the wife, she gave me that look that said «you’re ALWAYS complaining», then took a bite of hers. Her statement was, «Well now we know for the next time».
Let’s see, Steaks that are always tough, Chicken that is over cooked, Ribs that are overcooked at a high heat… Only thing decent is the salad and desert bar and that is marginal if the place is busy.
OH well. What I go through to keep wife and in-​laws happy.

I dined here several years ago and remember thinking the food was good, I came in again today for lunch. I arrived when they opened at 11:00 am. Glancing at the menu I noticed the Mega Bacon Burger which consists of a Half Pound Burger topped with American Cheese and Bacon., that sounded good so I ordered it. I also ordered a drink. I paid, grabbed my tray, and took a seat.
This is a nice sized restaurant with a combination of booths and chairs, there is a separate dining area at the west end of the restaurant that has a sliding door to close it off from the rest of the diners. Perhaps this is for large groups to reserve? The restaurant looked very clean and it is done up in earth tones of greens and browns with the salad bar counter done in gray granite. The overall effect is very pleasing.
A server brought me my drink and informed me that her name was Maria and that she would be my server. She told me that the Mega Bacon Burger comes dry and asked if I wanted anything to top it with. I asked if she could bring a side of Thousand Island and she said sure!
About 15 minutes later Maria brought my burger, I added the Thousand Island and took a bite. I had hoped it would be good but this was the best burger that I have had in quite some time, it was hot, juicy, and loaded with bacon. It was cooked just the way I had asked for and was good to the last bite!
Maria was a great server, friendly, attentive, and always smiling. This was one of my better lunch experiences and I plan on coming back!
