Still not sure why this placed closed! Was packed for lunch every time we went. Does anyone know what happened? Marie, if your reading, where did you go???

Still can’t believe that MARIE’S DELI has closed, since she made the best sandwiches in the whole Antelope Valley by using the freshest ingredients in her foods compared to the usual run-of-the-mill sandwich shops/delis in the area. I guess the economy is really worse than what President Numb Nuts always keeps saying when he lies to everyone on TV. MARIE’S DELI will truly be missed.

I LOVED this place! Why did it close? Did it move? No Notice, just gone! Maybe now I can loose some weight…

Friendly staff, great sandwiches. I got the Reuben sandwich, and my friend got the spicy Italian. We both enjoyed what we got. Planning to go back to try the pastrami sandwich.

Best cheesesteak sandwiches ever! Although it’s a little bit of a drive it’s worth it. I would recommend Marie’s to anyone!

1. The sandwiches were really good. I got the spicy italian and my bf got the bercutti and we both enjoyed our sandwiches. 2. Other reviews have said the place is small but I actually thought it was fairly ample. I counted 8 tables with 4 chairs at each table. AND each table had fresh flowers. I love small details like that. Clean bathrooms a plus. 3. Service was okay. There’s a lady in the back with great service. As well as a gentleman who was hustling and clearing tables. BUT the young lady with red hair who took our orders was really snotty. I took a couple of days to write the review because I thought possibly I was exaggerating it in my mind but she was def rude. I’m still coming back because it was delicious and everyone else was nice.

Great food, great and speedy service. I had a meaty ball half sand which and it was very good, very filing. I have to say it’s on my top ten meatball sandwich list now. Perhaps I can come back during this trip. It’s a strange location, but I’m willing to come back!

Staff is friendly. Like family. Uncanny ability to remember EVERYONE’S name! The food is great. Ingredients are always very fresh and they make everything to order. I always order the Bretticus. It’s my fave. I’ve recommended this place to several co-workers and every one of them has gotten hooked! Do yourself a favor and stop by. Hungry! Good sized portions too!

Seriously, one of our FAVORITE places to go for a sandwich! The Bretticus is AMAZING! The food is always fresh and the customer service is GREAT! It’s a great family owned business! The staff takes the time to let you know that they’re grateful you’ve stopped by and that they care that you leave satisfied. The only disappointment is when I stop by and it isn’t open.

The Mexican Tortilla soup was served piping hot and was extremely flavorful with a touch of chili heat that was mild enough to be pleasant. Mr. Picky actually used the«yummy» word. I liked it. We shared the Truman’s Reuben which was served piping hot, and it was pretty good. We then decided to share the Spicy Italian cold sandwich(asked for To Go and substitution of all Salami because we’re not fans of Mortadella because we find most served around the area to be a little bland). While I thought the side of Macaroni Salad was surprisinegly better than anticipated, the Potato Salad was definitely inspired. The Italian salami sandwich was an enigma because the salami wasn’t heavily flavored with garlic or anything, so I couldn’t figure out the«Spicy» element unless it was supposed to be from the pepperoncini but there wasn’t enough for a lot of heat, and the provolone didn’t have a lot of flavor(couldn’t tell it was in the sandwich). I wouldn’t order that again, but there are a couple other sandwiches I’d like to try. Turns out our waitress was the owner, Marie, and she and the other staff were very nice and accommodating, and I liked the fact that the place seemed clean. We definitely plan going back to try more of their soup du jour options and other sandwiches. Overall, I sort of liked the vibe of regulars, remembered names, brightness, casual, and interesting location. We’d been very excited about trying the place and I’m glad we did, although there was a little range in the highs and lows. Definitely almost a «4». Try it.

I hardly ever write reviews but this place definitely deserves one! The food was amazing and the service was even better. The guy that works there is so friendly and even patiently gave me directions right as they were about to close. We will definitely be coming here again. The pastrami IS as good as they say!

Small, quaint deli. Laid back atmosphere. Delicious freshly baked bread used for sandwiches. Great selection on menu as well as soups. Very impressed just not to fond of the location.

This is a very good sandwich shop just 5 minutes of the 14 in an industrial complex. It was very clean and we received good customer service. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. We had the pastrami and the turkey bacon sandwich.

This is THE preferred lunch spot for those in the know around Palmdale. Large menu with very tasty sandwiches piled high with the best deli meats. Marie is so friendly and always greets me by name. We usually call in the order and its always ready when we get there. I love this place!

Marie’s Deli Marie’s Deli is a small local deli that is one of the best kept secrets in Lancaster. My wife and I went in with the intentions of trying a salami style sandwich but after seeing a customer with the pastrami sandwhich we had to change our mind. The pastrami was absolutely mouth-watering and reminded me of a famous pastrami place in Hollywood(if you don’t know you don’t know — hahaha), the sandwich was amazing and had a great price. We will definitely be going on a regular basis because not only were the sandwiches amazing but the staff was great. The cook took our order and made sure to ask me how I really wanted it so he can customize it to my liking, the entire staff took the extra time to make sure everybody was happy with their meals. Tip — the location can be tricky, its in a white office building and can be hard to spot, its in the very corner of the building right next to the street.

Have been going to this place regularly for 3 years before moving to college. The food is amazing but what will make you keep coming back to this place is the amazing personalized service. I’ve been to a fair share of deli’s in so cal but I’ve always been impressed with the genuineness of the place. The people at Marie’s make sure that you leave satisfied. Their food is always fresh and they welcome any modifications to their existing sandwiches. You can also make your own too if you like. If you live in Palmdale or are visiting, I would highly recommend this place. It’s been three years, but whenever am in town, this is definitely a must go for me. Try out the Ruben.

We found Marie’s on Unilocal looking for a lunch place where we could park our truck. All our sandwiches were great, service was fast and courteous and the portions on the subs were big. Clean bathrooms and tables were a plus too. She’s clearly giving her best, I’ll come back again when I’m in town for sure.

Had a tasty cheesesteak today. This place is close to work. Convenient, nice menu options, helpful staff. I’ll definitely be back. P. S. Mexican Coke!

I was looking for a quick bite to eat and found this place on Unilocal. It’s tucked in an industrial complex and most of the people inside were obviously there on their lunch breaks. There are several different sandwiches that they have along with salads. The sandwiches come in half(6″) and whole size(12″). Prices for half start at around $ 5.75 and whole is about $ 8 – 9. You also have the option to build your own sandwich(choose from three meats, veggies, and variety of cheeses). I opted to try the pastrami since most Unilocalers talked about that one. The roll it came on was not toasted and slightly cool. It being my first time, I didn’t know if you could ask for it toasted, but I thought I heard someone request it later on. The pastrami was lean and juicy and the mustard not terribly overbearing. It came together nicely though I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve ever had. I would go back again to try their cheesesteak sandwich if I was in the area. Staff were super friendly and there are several tables inside to enjoy your meal. Note: They take credit cards, but they charge a fee if your total is less than $ 5.
