I consider myself very lucky that everywhere I have lived and worked in the Valley has had a Goody’s Café within minutes. I eat here all the time. At this location and the Indio location. And both are amazing. I have never NOT been satisfied by the food. I often get asked by new customer’s in the store«What is good?» Everything. Seems recently that all the fast food places around have taken huge hits in quality lately. In both food quality and service quality. But you can always count on Goody’s.

Goodies is always a great choice! Wide variety of food. Love their breakfast burritos and also the corned beef hash plate. We also like to come for lunch because they have a great cheeseburger as well. Taste like it was fresh off the grill! Thank you for the continued great service and food!

I haven’t really taken the time to read any of the reviews but I’m just going off my experience here. This is a typical small diner. Good food for decent price. If you call you order in its usually ready in 10 minutes. I personally have only had breakfast and small lunches here but I’ve been impressed non the less. Based on the star rating I can tell this place has taken some heat, but you have to come to a diner like this with realistic expectations. If you want a 5 star experience go to LG’s if you want a quick meal that will hit the spot you should be fine coming here.

I keep hoping that it will go back to the way it used to be. The owner needs to watch restaurant rescue. They are killing themselves. The food at this location is usually better than the one on country club. Here are a few observations from the last visit. A big sign greets you at the register stating that there is an extra $ 0.60 charge for dressing. I don’t know if that means dressing is extra if you order a salad or only if you want a side of dressing. Either way it’s way tacky. If I had a customer that wanted dressing for whatever reason, I’d give it to them. It can’t possibly be breaking the bank. If they spend as much on dressing as they do on syrup, it can’t be that much at all. The syrup they use is disgusting. It’s not the non-descript flavor, it’s the disgusting texture. It turns any good breakfast item they have unappealing. The syrup has the consistency of phlegm. Totally gross. Another thing they can do is to not mop the floor while you are eating. That super strong Mr. Clean mixture ruins your meal. I’m glad they keep things clean but they could use a different cleaner during business hours and use the Mr. Clean for after hours.

MOLDONBREAD!!! I can’t even begin to tell you about my frustration with this place. They always mess up my orders or forget to put something in it very often to the point I’m just like whatever it’s not that bad. This time I’m very upset because I wanted to pick up some food and hang out with a friend so she wanted a gyro salad which I got for her. So when I arrived I gave her the salad, right away we noticed the pita bread that came with it had some scattered darkness on it which was MOLD! I called to get money back at least for the following day. What this women said when I called them for my refund was well what do you want me to do? WHEREISYOURCOSTUMERSERVICE! Then I said do you want me to send a picture because this is ridiculous. She gave me a number so I sent her a picture, so then she texts me back oh well there grill marks it’s not mold. To resolve the issue she should have refunded my money no question asked. Instead she needed proof of the moldy bread and still wanted me to return to get my refund same day when I was not in the area I took it to go for a reason. Therefore I will not be returning to goodies and am going to tell everyone about there service and there food that is clearly not fresh.

I had a gyro salad that my friend picked up for me and i noticed this moldy pita bread that came with my salad and i will attach some photos so you can witness this crappy bread. when she called, the women from goodies had the worst excuse iv ever heard. She said they were grill marks on the bread, lady listen if they were gill marks it wouldnt have been scattered on my bread and second where is the coustomer service at? And third she wanted pictures of this bread so she can refund my money. Really? This is very unexcepable and very crappy service i will not be going back to this place.

My fiancée her son and I have been coming here for 20 years and our last few experiences have been horrible, we ate lunch their yesterday and both had to return our food, my fiancé ordered the taquito plate and SPECIFICAlly asked for them not to be over cooked and when she received them they where rock hard so she tried eat one before asking for new ones and they where not edible, so we returned the taquitos along with beans and sourcream to have them remade and when they came back out she got 3 taquitos which where still over cooked with some lettuce. When we asked for the beans and sour cream Gabby was rude and brought back dried up beans, a side of sour cream and a whole lot of attitude

This place is terrible. It’s old and dirty inside needs a big update like dynamite or napalm to demolish the place. It’s always hot/warm in there never feel the A/C on. Come on owners put on the A/C maybe there to busy spending there customers money at Aqua Caliente casino. The prices are way overpriced for what you get. Service is terrible girls never have a smile on always look like they don’t want to be there. There ketchup is always warm wonder how long it sits outside. Place is a joke. Tried there other new place by bob hope drive that is terrible too, place was dead and very expensive I’d rather go to In and Out next time right across the street. Spend your time and money elsewhere. You’ve been warned Unilocalers.

They shorten you on your food now. Not nearly as much as you use to get, but yet their prices still stay the same, that’s not right. I also feel like when you call and place a Togo order, they don’t listen. I have to repeat myself several times or correct my order multiple times when they’re telling it back to me. That’s frustrating. Either they’re not paying attention or don’t know their own menu. We came here a lot at one point, but now we’ve noticed a lot of changes and for the what we pay for 3 of us to eat, we can go enjoy a breakfast else where and actually be waited on.

Has anybody noticed Goody’s has recently implemented strict portion control? Until recently — my Goody’s Omelette was always loaded and simply huge. Today, after a 25-mile bike ride — I saw my favorite breakfast item look like a sick joke. It was less than ½″ thick, including the hash browns. A crêpe would be thicker than my breakfast… which actually looked like it was painted on my plate. My friend also noticed his Philly Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich had more bread than actual stuffing. He sent it back… and the food runner lady was not at all happy about it, either. This is truly UNLIKE Greek-owned food establishments. People, this is where I draw the line. When an otherwise«successful chain» establishment chooses to dumb-down portions on their most faithful customers… I start looking elsewhere. Sorry, Gus… you spoiled us for years, with fantastic freshness, prices and most of all… portions. We just don’t appreciate the bait-and-switch you pulled on us!

I really want to like Goodys, but it’s hard when a breakfast burrito and OJ cost $ 11. We go there because it’s close and convenient.

I came here tonight and got us To go orders tonight. Ordered the Greek salad and some tacos and some other items. When we got home just as I put on the salad dressing I found a black short hair laying on my food in the salad. I about puked. Then I open my taco box and find all the tacos with just cheese and chicken in the shell. I called them up and talked to a girl named cindytha. I asked for a manager and she said there’s no manager just a owner and he’s not in and doesn’t come here often. First she said she was going to refund all my money back, then she said she was just going to remake me a salad and I told her I didn’t want no more food from there because I was disgusted the first time. She told me to bring back my food tomorrow and the salad and she will just refund me for just my salad. Really she wanted me to keep day old food and bring it back??? No manager, no owner around to talk To and rude customer service I am so upset. This food was terrible and to find a hair in it while eating is just gross. Maybe the cooks & all the kitchen crew should be all wearing hair nets when handling food. I hope everybody who eats here checks there food. Never coming back here again! I had high hopes for here… being that I tried this place one time before but never again. Very disappointed.

This place is the original Goodys café it’s by far the best! It definitely better then There other location. I have been eating here for over 10 years. Food is great! And there really fast and it gets super busy but last time I was I went to the men’s restroom and it was disgustingly dirty if I had never been there before and used the restroom first I would have walked out that’s why I didn’t put 5 starts great place to eat!!!

The food was a little grease-logged. The coffee tasted like flat, store-brand cola and french fry oil. I took one sip and didn’t touch my mug for the rest of the meal. By the time I got up to leave the liquid had separated like spun blood! A brown thick substance coated the bottom and sides of my cup, and a thick, yellow foam floated to the top. We were told that the pancake syrup was ‘real maple syrup’, but I’m sure it wasn’t…it was viscous and tasted a little like throw-up. Otherwise, the service was wonderful, the staff was helpful and friendly. Delicious bacon! I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

I really like the food here. It usually would get a 5-star review from me. My last experience was a 3-star, though. We love their zucchini, but it hasn’t been available for two days in a row. Same for onion rings. They also charge extra for sauces. I think they should re-think that practice. Other than that, great food, they have no problems when you try to mod an order, i.e. grilled onions on a gyro. The food is also really affordable, which adds to the value. I really hope they fix this issue, whatever it is, soon.

My favorite goody’s! Their chicken Cesar salad would have to be my favorite dish there. Everything is made fresh to order.
