Loved this place! The staff were very accommodating, the coffee was tasty and the atmosphere was great. I hope to be back in the area next ski season.

Tourist trap. You won’t see many locals there. Ask to see the omelet before ordering one, which I suggest you don’t. Service was great, as it is with most small places here in Pagosa. Hard to screw up coffee. They have a captive audience with the Springs hotel and hot springs just across the bridge, and without those folks wandering in with their out of town cash they would be out of business within 3 months.

Great view and lattes with perfect flavor! The breakfast tacos can’t hold a candle to Higher Ground breakfast tacos, but they are big and full. The strawberry sensation smoothie was not awesome either, but the kind service makes up for it.

One of my favorite places to go to get a breakfast bagel. Imagine my surprise when I was told that they do not serve breakfast bagels when they are busy because they take too long to make. I was very disappointed.

This coffee shop by far has the best patio views! The employees are super friendly and it smells amazing inside! The serve giant waffles, cinnamon rolls, breakfast burritos, etc… and they’re all homemade. The only downside is they’re closed on Sunday’s. Still get 5 stars though because of their great service!

This place was adorable. It has such a comfy relaxing atmosphere as you walk through the door. Plus the food is amazing and very cheap. I had a breakfast burrito and a southwest omelet. Both were delicious and I would highly recommend. The lady who took our order was super friendly and the food was out to us quick. Also, I recommend trying their coffee, as it is very good as well.

The bagels and drinks here are very good but I do not recommend for breakfast. I ordered the breakfast burrito with ham but I did not find it enjoyable. The burrito only had eggs and ham and the flavor wasn’t very good. The service was very good and the waiters were nice though. I probably won’t come back here in the future but if I do I will order something else.

I’m very disappointed that this place received 4 stars because we almost overlooked it when driving through looking for a breakfast place. This is a fun establishment with fancy interior, it’s a little hard to spot from the road. The food was delicious and there was amazing river views. The coffee was fantastic. Highly recommended by other travelers we met too.

Staff was friendly but food was average. Drink orders were messed up. We were given the wrong size. On the sandwich we specifically said no lettuce or tomato but got it anyway. It would’ve tasted much better if heated. The waffle kind of had a gummy texture.

This is a cute little place just across from the springs. The food was pretty good as was the coffee, but it wasn’t outstanding. The parking and access was a little confusing, as it is around the back of the building.

Had the breakfast burrito and it was ok. Very large and couldn’t finish it. More hashbrowns than anything. Good flavor though. Could have been better smothered in Chile but they only provided small cup. Coffee was very good. Wife had the strawberry waffle and it was good but could have used more strawberry’s.

Over priced terrible food. I had the worst quiche of my life. It was on what tasted like Walmart quality pie crust & the mini muffin that came with it must have been picked up during the same trip to Walmart. The smoothie is not a smoothie at all. It’s an over priced slushie… nothing but sugar syrup & ice. Will never return.

This shop, across the river from the Springs Resort, advertises it’s waffles with a giant banner, tempting the bathers to put on shoes and wander over for breakfast. The coffee didn’t disappoint, and neither did the waffles. Plenty of space inside at 8AM on a holiday Monday, plus a handful of tables outside to welcome the morning.

While relaxing in the hot springs, we gazed across the river to a sign that beckoned«WAFFLES.» So, naturally, we arrived at this super adorable coffee shop early the next morning. The waffles were indeed banner-worthy. I opted for strawberry compote on top but I could have also had blueberry. I also got a side of thin and crispy bacon for about $ 1.25 extra. The next morning, I tried the green chili quiche. The portion was a bit smaller than I anticipated but the quiche was fresh and flavorful and a yummy mini blueberry muffin came on the side. Thumbs up, too, for the mildly spicy chai latte. If it’s busy, you may experience a bit of a wait for your drink or food but you can either sit and enjoy the morning or browse around at the selection of cute handmade and local gift items for sale. Your order will be brought to your table and the friendly baristas will come check on you and kindly bring you some water. Dogs are welcome on the patio and there’s even a water bowl for the canines. A delicious breakfast in Pagosa Springs is just over the bridge from the hot springs resort. Why would you go anywhere else?

We were on a walk with family and stumbled into this café on the river. From the outside it appears to be old and a little uninviting. We walked in, and it was adorable inside. A couch, some bar height tables and chairs, and even a dining room to the right. The menu looked pleasing to eye, and several options available. The pastries looked okay. Nothing fabulous, but nothing I wouldn’t try.

The most unique and beautiful coffee shop you will ever see! Delicious hot drinks, homemade baked goodies, and yummy breakfast choices. They also sell a variety of gifts in the store(many of which are handmade and local!) The owners of river pointe are some of the most genuine, loving, and down right good people you will ever meet. You will not be disappointed!!!
