We have been on the road for a week and needed a palate cleanser after our last disappointing stop. Thank heavens for Elkwood Manor! The gorgeous facility met us with a happy hour choice of wine or beer, and lovely home-​prepared salmon dip, hearts of palm, nuts and crackers appetizers. We listened to soft Brazilian music and chatted with the guests and owners as the sun dropped over the mountain tops. The view encompasses the best of Colorado mountain peak vistas… With the outside wrap-​around porch highlighting the spectacular natural surroundings. Lush, well appointed accommodations include wifi that WORKS, a pristine hot tub outside that offers the view. Ahhhhh!!! Perfection at last

This was our first time at a B&B and it was amazing. Darlene makes your experience feel customized and special just for you. She promptly contacts you after you make your online reservation which was so easy. Every detail is addressed by Darlene. We had the best time. Breakfast each morning was great. The house was so clean and nicely done it felt like home… and the view of the pasture and mountains was awesome. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and snack each evening at 5. We also got a box lunch to go hiking and a romantic candle light in room dinner which was very personalized. Both were outstanding. This is definitely a couples place and we were glad there were no children around. We may just have to make this an annual visit. We highly recommend Elkwood Manor!

What an amazing experience! I want to recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone staying in the area. They’re called a «Luxury» bed and breakfast for a reason. I’ve never felt so at home, yet so pampered while staying anywhere in my entire life! Dan has done such a wonderful job creating, building and adding onto such a jaw dropping home and business. His wife, Darlene is a jack of and master of all trades. I don’t think there’s anything she couldn’t do! She cooks, creates, manages and has sown pretty much everything in the bed and breakfast. Their attention to minor detail and awe-​inspiring atmosphere will be the judge of every place I’ll stay at for the rest of my life!

Amazing experience! Wonderful hospitality and gorgeous views.
They are not joking about the «Best View From a Hot tub!» Wow!
The owners, Darlene and Dan are so friendly and attentive and they made our anniversary trip a memorable and magical experience.
We stayed in the Wilderness Loft Suite and it was very cozy and clean.
Breakfast every morning was different and delicious.
Just be ready to wake up when everyone else does, because you will hear them eating breakfast in the dining room.
