Worth the five minute drive from 24. Get the deep dish. Definitely a hole in the wall — bathrooms need an upgrade — but the food is delicious and the staff is super friendly!

I travel a great bit for work and stumbled across this place on Unilocal and I have to say, I’ve had Chicago and ny pizza at the finest places in the city and these guys knocked it outa the park, I’m serious is that they could definitely give these world famous guys a run for their money. Paducah u did a fine job tonite, I now know where I will be coming on my next visit. Only issues is a bit understaffed, service was slow but it was good southern hospitality, and more beer choices. Just want to say again, that this pizza is great I was skeptical at first but wow, what a great decision.

Do not judge this book by it’s cover! Driving up to the building it appears very run down with limited parking. Once inside though you find a cozy eclectic atmosphere filled with pictures of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. The pickle spears, breadsticks and pizza were delicious! The crust is thick and perfect for dipping in honey, which sits as a staple condiment at every table!

Little hole in the wall type of place. Walls littered with Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. Waitresses couldn’t of been nice. Great pizza and cool place to grab a beer.

The place is in a eclectic old bar. The menu is varied standard bar fare. Some of the friends I have been with during my visits here have eaten a variery of appetizers and meals that looked great and my companions say are very good. I can’t attest to most of the items on the menu because every time I come here I only get the pizza, which is BYFAR best pizza in town. Well worth the trip here if you are a pizza lover! And the service has always been friendly and prompt.

Love the hamburger combo deep dish pizza !! Amazing crust. Also the breadsticks with cheese are awesome too, love the honey for dipping. Usually a very busy place, waitresses are nice, food is great. I go here when I’m in Paducah

It is going to take a bit, but you can rush perfection. The pizza is awesome and I am NOT a pizza fan. The décor is old, but clean. Grab a beer on tap, sit back and enjoy Elvis and Marilyn photos while you chow down. The catifish is also worthy of your time. A giant ½ pound piece covered in pecans :) yummy!

My team and I ate here while in Paducah for business. The pizzas were very good. Everyone commented about how good they were. 2 of us ordered traditional and one ordered deep dish. We all left satisfied.

I love the pizza and the always crowded atmosphere. Just don’t go on weekend nights and be hungry, you might wait for a long time before you finally get your food. The bar has all your heart desire and the waiters are excellent.

Pizza by the Pound has some delicious pizza it Might be a hole in wall, But their pizza is AWSOME. And the crab and cheese appetizer was AWSOME too. Might not beet my all time home town pizza place, it is right there at the top. It is even better than the pizza I have had in Chicago. The staff there was AWSOME prompt courteous. Even as they busier. Great job.

Top-notch deep dish pizza that’s not your chain-style pizza, but very delicious. Be sure to call ahead and/or just get take-out as it’s generally busy during evenings/weekends and anytime U of Kentucky is playing basketball on television. We love it!

Yep. This place lived up to the hype. First of all, it looks like a hole outside, could barely find a place to park. Knowing its reputation, though, we weren’t deterred. The place was packed, we had to wait for a table on a Thursday night! It would have been nice to have«Please Seat Yourself”-type sign, we felt a bit awkward at first. Food wise, it’s 5-star all the way. We had chicken wings and a pizza. The wings were crispy, not slimy. They came with a spicy/creamy sauce, really good. We had a BLT pizza with traditional crust. It was EXCELLENT! Chewy crust, great cheese, fresh bacon. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Place was loud & local, service was good.

Stopped at this«Pizza Joint» while traveling from the Smoky Mountains on way back to Oklahoma. Sounded good as well as interesting based on the reviews from Unilocal. It was good pizza. We had the House Special medium along with the appetizer platter(fried everything). We could barely finish the pizza, but it was delish!

Call ahead for a table! We stood at the door with a large group of people uncertain of what to do. Finally a waitress came over to ask us how many ect… Seemed to have a rhyme or reason to this madness — must be good! She came back and said she had tables … Somewhere we couldn’t understand. Would that be ok? Sure, a table would be good, so we followed her. Outside, through a patio area and into a …? I don’t know, a room with patio tables and a foosball table. Did I mention it’s 28 °F outside? Ok … Expecting big things, we ordered drinks, app and salad and a deep dish pizza. It all was fine — maybe it was better then we left thinking having been overshadowed by the weird seating and the seemingly largely understaffed facility. It was an interesting find, but will probably skip it next time we are in the area.

Shows up as delivery on Unilocal but when we called, they said they don’t deliver. Can’t comment on the food since we didn’t get any.

We were visiting family in Paducah and they brought us here for dinner. The place was busy on a Monday night in late December. We had a large cheese pizza, the 8 pound pizza(we had 8 in our group), fried pickles, and onion rings. All the food was excellent. Service was friendly though a little slow but that just gave us more time to talk and be hungry when the giant pizzas arrived. If I lived in Paducah, I’d be a regular here.

Always looking for local places to eat when travelling. Stayed in Paducah on the way to Miami. Saw interesting reviews on the web so tried it with my 3 teenage kids. It’s just a couple of miles from the highway chains. Great atmosphere. A lot of Elvis & Marilyn pictures. I wouldn’t call it a dive but definitely heavy on local flavor. I’m from Chicago so I’m an admitted pizza snob. The pizza was fantastic. The traditional crust was our favorite; was outstanding. Great taste. Was a Saturday night so it was fairly busy which contributed to the only drawback, The service wasn’t as efficient as it could have been but server was very pleasant when she came by the table. Go here instead of the chain restaurants off the highway

Kind of a local dive bar but the did is excellent, The Italian beef and onion rings were wonderful and the pizza is also. The thin New York style is what we had. The crust comes with honey for dipping. The place is a little rough around the edges but the service and food are great !
