So sad they came and than they went. Not such a good market strategy. I feel the most sorry for the employees who have stayed with Albertsons for many years to than be switched to a new market, only to be laid off in time to come. Can’t wait for a new market to come in. Hopping soon.

I had previously rated this store 5stars. After shopping here weekly thereafter I must change my rating as its selection has decreased in freshness. I know it lost many customers which is what has brought this change. It was great when it first opened but dont think Haggens did a good job of researching the«market» here. I’m sad to see the produce rotting as the lack of customers with their higher prices has brought this on. I understand that in order to offer a great selection of quality produce and food they need to have more customers. I was hoping they would make it but not sure they will. I would just hate to see some discount grocery store like a Superior open up here. They now offer WIC which is a big customer base however it may be too late. Those customers have moved on to other stores.

I stopped in here a couple days ago and was happy to see that the location has been spruced up a little since the previous grocery store was here. The layout of the store is almost identical to before so if you came here when it was Albertson’s you’ll be able to find your way around still. Breads/pastries looked tasty and some of their specialty breads looked interesting. Staff was friendly and enthusiastic. I thought their produce section looked nicer than the other store. I’d shop here again.

I went to Abertson’s for many years. Now the one on Ventura Road was taken over by Haggens. They claim improvements. I’ll keep my eye open for them. But as it is, the name changed and some brands too. The Staff is the same and I feel in certain areas, some of them need more training and don’t just cut them loose in the store. One area for improvement is the Deli Section. But this applies to all Deli’s(Ralph’s, Vons, Colonel Sanders, Panda etc.)I’ve been to. When they are ready to take the fried chix from fryer to the full-steam table pan, they DUMP the chicken on the Pan. NOTGOOD training. Then, if the fried chix is already on display(in their heated display case), but needs replenishing, they go back, bring a new pan with fried chix and, yep, you guessed it– they dump THATONEOVERTHEOLDFRIEDCHICKEN. After that, when I’ve ordered my two breast(which I love) They’ll take the tongs and literally dig for them and in the process, many chix pieces are left with loose skins or even skinless. Just one issue. But I still may go there. Thanks.

I’m so happy to have a new store open up in this area. The quality of the meat and the produce here is 100% better then The last business that was at this location. I really hope this store sticks around. We need this type of place here.
