Just discovered this bakery. Very good selection o unique pastries and breads. Friendly staff, fresh sweets and good prices. The cream cheese and chocolate croissants were very good.

I felt like I was back ‘home’ in Korea! Honestly, I frequented Paris Baguette far more often in Korea, but I’ll take what I can get… Tous Les Jours far surpasses any American bakery chain I can think of. The bread is sooooo soft and perfect, and I just love the atmosphere. It’s very calming. My favorite breads are always the ones with cream inside… the mocha cream bread, peanut cream, and the ‘milk soft.’ If you have to go with just one, pick the milk soft. Oh, by the way, hours are wrong on Unilocal!Unilocal says they are closed Saturday, but I came on a Saturday afternoon. I wish I had thought to get the correct hours, but I forgot to, and since I don’t live in KC it’ll be a while before I get back. Just know that they ARE open on Saturday, and I thought they had hours listed for Sunday too. I can’t wait to get back up to KC and stock up on delicious Korean(French-inspired) pastries!(By the way, my friend who spent time in Europe said that the chocolate croissants rival what she had in France, so I’d say they’re pretty good!)

I am soooo glad that Kansas City finally has a proper Korean bakery. Like all Korean bakeries, Tour Les Jours has a broad selection of sweet and savory baked good. On this visit, I only sampled the sweet pastries and a frozen dessert. Like most Korean pastries, the ones I tasted were lightly sweetened, fresh, delicate and delicious. You won’t find overly sweet, sugar coma inducing products and artificially flavored, neon colored frosting. I can’t wait to go back and try the shaved ice dessert. I am hoping it’s the addictive Bing Soo with fruit, condensed milk and crazy toppings that I eat whenever I’m near a Koreatown. BTW, please save your money and don’t buy the frozen gelato desserts — they are prepacked Bindi sundays. They’re not terrible, but you’ll be much happier spending it on a custard bun, crossaint, or loaf of fluffy bread with buttercream — yum!

I love this bakery. I visited it 3x within two days. I had a variety of baked goods. I definitely recommend green tea cake if you’re in the mood for something sweet. But if you’re in the mood for something savory, I recommend the curry bun and sweet bun with hotdog. Thinking about them makes my mouth water. I definitely spent more money there than I should have. Great place to get a snack or have a coffee with your friend.

Tous les Jour happens to be a Korean bakery chain with a fine assortment of french inspired sweet baked goods. It’s not a coincidence that it is next door to the Korean gift store and a couple doors away from the best asian market in town. When you walk in, there are wrapped baked goods on the wall to the left, good for when you want to grab something to go. Just to the right is a self serve rack with lots of nice looking sweet pastries as well as savory baked items. At the the front counter are the fancy slices of cakes and mousses. I was sort of in a hurry so I grabbed a milk soft bread and a sweet potato cream bread along the wall. The milk soft bread has just a slightly sweet cream filling in the middle of a soft and light heavenly bread. The sweet potato cream bread is like a nicely baked sweet rool with sweet potato filling in the middle and a few black sesame seeds on top. Next time I go here, I am going to get something in that self serve display along with coffee and just sit down in store to enjoy.

Can’t believe more people ain’t on this in KC yet. As far as the Korean chains only Paris Baguette can hang with this place. The breads are so delicious and reasonably priced. And you can’t beat the happy hour coffee. Can’t wait to get back in town to see my fan and raid this place

I came here for the boba tea; wasn’t disappointed. My brother tried boba tea for the first time and he, surprisingly, enjoyed it. Not too sweet, perfectly milky and mango-y and they certainly do not skimp on the tapioca. Their cakes of course looked beautiful, as did everything else. It’s a chain, sure, but it’s an exceptional chain.

The pastries here are very good! If you’re looking for a place w/super sweet cupcake like joint, this is not the place for you. They have sweet breads, pastries, and some savory stuff too. Everything in here looks good and makes you want to buy it. I bought a few things to try. I got the cheese cake(?) it’s more like a pound cake except not so dense. All the cakes we bought was light and airy and the toppings were like fresh cream. Very good and not overly sweet things.

Love coming here for some French/Asian infused pastries. The place is super clean and I absolutely love the setup and décor. The over all ambiance is very warm. You can just go in and check out their daily selection without feeling obligated to purchase. It’s kind of fun to take a tray and tongs and pick out your own variety of goodies. Their goodies are also made fresh so the place has quite a delightful aroma. Everything is so reasonably priced it’s hard to walk out of there with just one item. We are huge fans of the sweet cream pastries. It’s nice to indulge a goodie that isn’t so overwhelmingly sweet.

So happy to find this in KC! Love their comfortable environment for a coffee date with friends. I have been to many of their locations in other states and as well as in Korea. They all look the same and their prices are all around the same. Yes, they are not cheap but you pay for the comfortable environment to hang out too. I love their load of milk bread, very soft and fuffy compare to the bread you find in regular supermarket.

4 Stars– Affordability 5 Stars– Décor 5 Stars — Pastry 4 Stars– Selection 5 Stars– Ingredients listed If you’re looking for something buttery, tender, flaky, and delicate… come on down. I’m just going to say… The Sobbora bun, with its velvety smooth filling of buttercream and crunchy exterior with spun sugar and nuts made me weak in the knees! If it’s dinner time and you are looking for Pizza made out of puff pastry… Who knew? Really? That’s the thing? Well, they’ve got that too. That same tender, delicate, flaky puff pastry with fat, juicy sausages. Oh! And vegetables thrown on top, just to make you feel good about what you’re eating. They’ve even got fancy French pigs in a blanket for the kiddos, or maybe, you’re just a big kid! Want to know exactly what is in your puff pastry… Just read the sign. Don’t want to know what’s in your puff pastry… Close your eyes! So no matter what you avoiding, gluten, or peanuts you will be informed. But, don’t be deceived… you can’t avoid the calories or the flavor. Ahhhhh! Decadence! Pick up a tray and a pair of tongs and give in to that little voice that says«you deserve it». If you choose to embrace Cake in all it’s full fat flavor, they’ve got your hook up. Tiramisu, Strawberry cream, or your hearts desire. It’s the Birthday cake Mecca for Francophiles. Google maps says to make a U-turn 101 st street but you do not need to do that. If you’re coming from the south, turn left(west) onto 103rd St. and then turn left(south) on Marty(the first light) The entrance to the Indian creek shopping center is the first left. This hidden gem is truly hidden. FINDIT!

I’m giving a rating of 2 stars because of my experience today. I pre-ordered a birthday cake(Cloud 2 — that’s the name of the cake) two weeks in advance and they want you to pay up front so I did. I took a picture of what I had ordered just to be on the safe side. Today, I picked up the cake and it looked nothing like what I have ordered. The basis of the cake is the same(white cake, white frosting, strawberries & fruits). However, the arrangement and the presentation are very lacking. I did not even get the same amount of strawberries. They just don’t have a standard to their cakes. I told the cashier girl that the cake look nothing like what I have ordered. I showed her, the baker, an old man, and French looking girl the picture and they went back to put a little more topping on the cake for me but it’s still not what I paid for. They wanted me to take what they have made but I couldn’t settle for anything less because this cake is for a very special person and it’s his birthday. I wanted it to be perfect the way I had pictured it so I asked them if they could redo and they were nice enough to redo it within an hour. Still, for the 3rd time, it still didn’t look like what I paid for. Frosting on top and the decoration were just not up to the standard of what I would expect from them. I decided to ONLY ask for sugar icing on top to make it look more like what I wanted. The counter lady went back into the kitchen and made face. The baker and the counter girl exchanged looks as if I was unreasonable and annoying to them. They did all this while I was watching from the outside through the glass. The bad attitude surprised me. They need to change their attitude and take responsibility for their service and product or they are not going to last. This place is selling bakery at a premium price but my experience today is just disappointing. I did not pay any less than anyone and it is only fair that I get what I paid for. Overall, their customer service is unprofessional and rude. The cake has no standard. You pay for one thing but you get something less than what you paid for. If there are other bakery around Overland Park, I would not be their customer anymore. **I wish I took a picture of what they presented me when I went to pick up the cake. Then you will get what I am talking about.**

Located next to the Oriental Supermarket, and Café Vie, Tous Les Jours is a great addition to the area. There is a neat setup, and comfortable sitting area when you walk in. The staff are all extremely kind and helpful, however some may speak some broken, or heavily accented english. As a native Korean, I was quite excited to see the wde variety of products that I grew up eating. The prices are quite reasonable, in my opinion, yet some of them are a bit high. Serving coffee from The Roasterie is a great addition to the variety of boba(bubble) teas. There is also free wifi(hooray!). And to end my long review, I definitely suggest you stop by if you are in the area.

We usually go to the ones in Dallas and I was so excited when I found out this place opened that I had to go the next day! My kids love the buns here. Everything we have tried is delicious, nothing is overly sweet. I’m a little bummed that they stopped making the strawberry milk bun because it was my absolute favorite! Now they there is a location close to me, I’m very excited to try other pastries to find a new favorite. The employees are super helpful and recommended a few items that were similar and they were pretty good… just not strawberry milk good! Yes, the goodies are on the pricey side so we probably won’t be here every day but I will probably be here at least once a month!

New Asian bakery!!! The set up on the inside is absolutely beautiful, with very kind staff. They have full sized cakes, slices, and different types of pastries, buns, breads, and macarons. In addition, there are hot and cold beverages. My slice of fruit cake was a bit pricey, $ 5, but tasted so light. There’s a difference in Asian cakes, and theirs was perfectly done. There really isn’t another bakery nearby that compares to the authenticity of Asian bakeries as much as this one.
