Great food & a really nice staff. I like the ease of ordering and the options that you can get. I’m a big fan of a good meal, & Sheridan’s Unforked definitely did not disappoint! It’s a great place to grab a quick bite to eat with friends when you’re in the area. I live downtown, & will make intentional trips out to OP just to eat here! No need to dig for a reason to visit Unforked, the food alone is reason enough.

I had two tacos and fries. The Conquistador taco was delicious. I could live on these. The Fried Avocado taco. I didn’t like it. I guess it fulfilled my expectations. But it came with two HUGE pieces of fries avocado that overwhelmed the taco. It was mouthfuls of hot mush. I’ll stick with fresh avocados as a complementary ingredient. Fries were great. Overall, the tacos are more expensive than I would think they should cost($ 3.60-$ 4ish each) and I likely won’t come back alone as two tacos won’t fill me up. It was the perfect amount to get two tacos and share a basket of fries though.

Great food but the stars are for not needing to have a drive thru. Their food is restaurant quality wish takes that amount of time to prepare. Therefore a Drive thru is completely out of the question.

great change from regular burger place. All the food is good and they have great prices on beers.

Great flavors, small portion size options, good atmosphere, decent prices, slow service. Great for a casual night out with friends.

I maybe have a love-hate relationship with Unforked. They are a tad overpriced for the serving sizes, which is my main beef. Then I taste stuff like their Hale the Kale, and their assortment of tacos, and it makes my heart thud-thud just a bit. The drive through is atrocious, which I think they know, since the signs nearly 100% indicate there will be a wait, which works I guess, at least you know your food is FRESH! Going inside isn’t much better. The place is already packed by 11AM when the doors open. Don’t get me wrong Unforked. we have a love-hate relationship, but im just jealous. We should be more exclusive. I wish I didn’t have to wait so long for food. Staff has always been kind. Wish the seasonal offerings were change up a bit more often, because I always get excited to see whats new.

So good!!! We come here all the time for food and dessert. The wait isn’t too long as others claim. Their food is served fresh so it will take a few more minutes than your typical McDonald’s… I get the crispy chicken add avocado. Whatever you get ask for their spicy ranch on the side. So good!

I love the idea of a healthy drive thru option in Overland Park that offers fresh and tasty food made with real ingredients. This place feels like a splurge, but with calorie counts on everything(and reasonable calorie counts at that), you can keep an eye on what you are consuming. I have had numerous tacos from this location and all of them are good. The food is served at a fast food pace, but it doesn’t necessarily feel like a fast food restaurant. Service has always been friendly and as quick as possible. A great place to stop for lunch!

This just happen to be the closest to my hotel so I thought I would give it a try. Amazing! The girl at the drive thru was nice helpful and knowledgeable. Food was flavorful and everything was hot and fresh. Glad I tried something new.

The only reason this place does not have 5 stars is because it takes FOREVER! I wish there was a separate drive thru line just for ordering custard. The food slows it down quite a bit. The custard is AMAZING!!! The Red Velvet is heavenly! The Wedding Cake is everything you would think and want it to be. The Dirts And Worms is my favorite, it’s basic, but so fun!

I love unforked. When I’m in Overland Park it’s so convenient. Love that an organic healthy restaurant has a driveway. The food quality is great every time. I’ve had about everything on the menu. My favorites are the Thai burger and kale salad. Broadway joes are awesome, I use chocolate custard and add raspberries and extra berries. It’s pricy, but it’s organic and convenient.

This place surprised me quite a lot. I was expecting a fast-foody atmosphere when I walked in, but it was quite different. It’s almost like a sit-down fast food restaurant without the fast food. They have a really great seating area with booths, tables, and windows. The staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed used to the fact I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting myself into! So I didn’t exactly know what this place was, but I knew I was in the mood for Mexican food. I’m ALWAYS in the mood for Mexican… So I ordered a side of fries after reading other reviews, along with two tacos. The Barking Pig and Conquistador. They were delicious. They were far and beyond better than 90% of the tacos I’ve had… Look at my profile, I’m a taco inspector… Anyways, this place is totally not what I expected. It’s in the heart of suburbia. I live here but hang out in downtown, Westport, the Plaza, and the like… This beats most places I’ve been in the city and elsewhere. I would love to come back and try burgers and other selections. I know for a fact I will return for tacos!

This place seems like your normal upscale hipster hang out place but it’s got some interesting takes on street food plus your normal great tasting custard which is the staple of sheridans. The portions can be small but they usual fill me up anyways. The avocado taco was delicious and the wedding cake concrete is amazingly sweet and creamy. Would check this place out if you’re in this area of Overland Park

Delicious restaurant meals and atmosphere at the speed and price of fast food. I love this place! My co worker and I ordered a TON of food because we just wanted to try everything. I asked for sour cream, which they don’t have, but they gave me this lime cilantro yogurt based cream instead and it was AMAZING on my tacos. Can’t wait to go back.

I really like the concept here. Lots of GF and dairy-free options. I got the akaushi burger with lettuce instead of a bun– the beef itself was good. Next time I’ll try the other types of burgers. Kale salad was just okay– dressing was at the top but it was just plain kale at the bottom. $ 3.10 for a 4 oz cup of shredded kale and lemon dressing is a little steep. I do want to come and try more menu items, especially the desserts. Lavender lemonade was nice but a tad too sweet for my taste.

Good for a quick and healthier option for lunch or dinner. The raspberry yogi shake is super tasty and the kale salad with added chicken and avocado is scrumptious.

I really wish they would open a location closer to the city. This is our go-to place when we are in the Overland Park area. All the tacos I’ve tried are amazing, you really can’t go wrong when ordering here. I love the free fruit infused water and the urban interior. My only complaint is that some of the tacos are a little greasy, for example. When ordering the avocado taco, the avocado is fried: it’s delicious but i usually«peel» off some of the breading. Also, desserts are absolutely amazing if you feel like treating yourself: which I usually do.

We went for the first time last night. I’ve heard great things about them. I had a cheeseburger and fries. The fries are super skinny, which I personally don’t like. The burger was small and and dried at the edges. Culver’s burgers are so much better. Maybe I should have tried one of the specialty tacos. Not sure yet if I’ll go back to give them a try.

Fresh, flavorful and absolutely wonderful! The restaurant is relaxing and inviting. The dessert are also incredible! Not to mention they have $ 1& $ 2 beers! This is one of our family«go to’s». My husband has ordered the fish and chips which is not on the menu but it was absolutely delicious!!! Crispy and flavorful! The tacos are wonderful. I’ve recently tried their bacon cheeseburger and its out of this world!

Unforked is a new favorite. It’s abundantly clear the proprietors have made painstaking efforts in every detail from the quality organic food, fresh brewed tea, on to the better-than-Chipotle 2.0 styling(cool lighting!) Kudos for doing all the right things! I tried 3 tacos – probably one too much. The Cali fish was almost perfect – a forgivable foul for having had to ask for a lime(which they then cut fresh for me!) The portobella had great life until I took it. The Conquistador tri-tip was not the all time best cut of beef, but great enough to sacrifice itself in a bed of corn tortilla for me. So nice of you. A suggested food hack: get their french fries and add a side of their powdery parmesan + parsley – they charged me 50C extra. Totally worth it. Ever since 1989 when I worked at a now-defunct restaurant at the original Disneyland«The Space Place» which offered fries+parm+pars, I cannot resist this mod. Dipped in organic ketchup = YUMMMMMMMM.

Be prepared for a flavor explosion in your mouth. Yummy tacos. The barking pig is amazing. I look forward to coming back and trying more of their tasty sounding options. Place was busy but I didn’t have to wait long.

Smoothie Spree Chronicles — Part 6: You can pick any 2 fruits from their list and have a smoothie made out of it. Strawberry + pineapple = HEAVEN, and fairly affordable. Their kale-containing fountain of youth smoothie is comparably delicious. I also tried their crispy avocado taco, and being a native Texan spoiled by Torchy’s fried avocado tacos I can’t say I was too impressed, but it certainly sufficed. I like the interior of this restaurant and the fact that they have a drive-thru, although it is a little confusing to navigate at first.

This has been my favorite place since 2004. I watched and supported them grow to today. But tonight(8:56pm), their turtle sundae was served so sloppy that I was like:(really? You charging me $ 6.59 for this? The chocolate fudge was all the way at bottom, pecans and extra paid banana slices were so scarce. It looks just like be thrown on as all the sudden he remembered they are part of the recipe) What has happened to their quality and skill control ? Totally ruined my night ! I drove all the way just for this sundae!

This place is great. And I’ve always wanted a place that serves healthy, fresh Mexican food via drive thru. Awesome. I’ve tried a few things on the menu and haven’t been let down except for one thing and we’ll get to that in a bit… The barking pig is delicious. The kale and mango salads are both very crisp and fresh. Can’t go wrong. I also love the Cali tacos. However for a place that strives to serve everything fresh and never pre-made the honey limeade was AWFUL. It tasted like it was a week old… I mean this was by far the worst drink I’ve ever had. Please, Unforked, stop serving this drink unless you can make it FRESH.

Believe it or not but I really like the water here. If a restaurant put that much thought and putting different types of fruit into their free water they must be putting a lot of detail into the meals. I’ve had the hamburgers, the quesadillas and the tacos. All excellent. They use fresh spices and ingredients. Try any of their frozen custards and you won’t be disappointed. Every time I’ve gone they have been busy but the staff seems to be able to keep up.

My first visit was pleasant! This place is so much bigger on the inside than it would appear from driving past. The parking lot was full at lunch, but inside there were plenty of tables still available. I hope to be able to convince a few friends to come along and try this place with me soon, I’m already hankering for a repeat visit.(With something sweet next time to end the meal too!) 100% delicious. That’s how I describe the ‘barking pig’ taco. Very sweet though, so if that doesn’t suit, stay away! Carnitas with bacon. What a lovely pairing! Chips & Guac was a good call on the side dish, the chips were warm and fresh and the guacamole was tasty! I kept seeing fries go by as other patrons walked past, but I didn’t want to take a chance this trip. Tacos + chips, you know? The original duo. My only complaint was it felt pricier than a taco should be. I think I need to readjust my expectations though. Yes it was small, but it was so good. I’m glad I heeded the clerk’s advice and got two tacos, one simply wouldn’t do the job. So on days when quality takes precedence over quantity Unforked is a great option!

Gluten free friendly. Good tacos. Good burgers. The gluten free buns almost taste like biscuits. I prefer the tacos to the burgers, personally. The kitchen is not always en pointe, they totally messed up my fiancé’s meal today, but last time our food came out perfect. I guess that’s to be expected at a normal burger joint, but the atmosphere of this place says that their staff should be beyond stuff like that. Come to think of it, hey messed up the lady behind us in line’s food, too. I like it that the restaurants water has strawberries and limes and lemons in it, but if Id have had an allergy to fruit, that would have been problematic Also, I am baffled at how a place like this doesnt have a gluten free fryer for their tortilla chips and french fries. I think this place could do better.

Let me start off by saying, I’m sure this place is good but the veggie quesadilla I ordered was awful. Everything slid out into a bland, steaming mess of hot avocado and veg. My boyfriend ordered a seasonal offering that was a ‘bowl’ of some sort of noodles and vegetables(can’t remember the name) and it was the saddest excuse of a bowl I’ve ever seen. Literally just a cup you could barely eat out of. The tacos however do look appealing and I’ll steer that way if and when I come back. I noticed this place is very clean which was a plus. The shining star of this review? The ‘I Do’ concrete. A full slice of wedding cake finds its dreamy demise via blended into vanilla frozen custard. It’s a most happy marriage between the two.
