Wow! I absolutely love the job that Darshita did on my eyebrows today. My mom came in town for the weekend and made an appointment with Darshita after seeing good reviews here. I was in desperate need of an eyebrow job, so I decided to tag along. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed, plucked, sugared, etc. for years and years. Not only was this the most painless hair removal process I’ve ever had at a salon, my eyebrows look the best they’ve ever looked. Totally worth the price ($ 20). Worth not getting burned, or having a stylist rip off skin along with the hair. Fully recommend! I will be back.

$ 21 for eyebrow threading. The high price doesn’t justify the service.
I told the woman doing my eyebrows to only clean my eyebrows and to not take too much from the center… yet my eyebrows were left uneven. She didn’t take a holistic approach to my eyebrows. My feedback seemed to fall upon deaf ears, so I complained to the owner, who, as well just couldn’t get beyond the fact that the particular eyebrow artist just couldn’t do a less than perfect job. Humph. He was flexible enough to refund me $ 11, which I appreciate.
I’m not from the area, so I won’t be returning. Wouldn’t return even if I lived here.
Also, they will also try to up sale you on other products. Poor service and the quality doesn’t justify the high price. This place is first and foremost a hair salon where they do eyebrow threading… the owner may want to wise up on the price of the threading once this method begins trending more highly in this area…
Disappointed.

I had Darshita for an eyebrow threading and hair cut and style. She was great– educational, did a great job and its been two weeks and my brows are still looking good. I hadn’t been threaded before– it was pretty good. Not more painful than tweezing and definitely better than waxing! She did a great job shaping my brows and they look very professional. The haircut was great and she spent a lot of time showing me how to duplicate it at home.
The only negative I would say was some miscommunication between her and the register. I was told if you spent $ 100 you get $ 10 off. evidently that did not apply to the shampoo and conditioner pack that she had suggested (not that the shampoo was $ 100. just working up to that mark over time).
Bottom line: I would book Darshita again, she was friendly, professional and did great work.

It’s not easy finding someone good at threading in Kansas City, but Darshita at International Hair and Day Spa is great. She’s an aesthetician skilled at skin and hair care, and does threading also! She did a wonderful job on my eyebrows and was very thorough with the upper lip. Quick, relatively painless, not ridiculously overpriced (like a certain other place at the mall that left my eyebrows microscopically thin). Recommended!
