I’ve had my last meal at this Einstein’s. Call me crazy if I think the employees should act professional in a place of business, and not to mention get your order right. My complaints: 1) The employees just stand there, staring at you, until you order. At least today, the three that were there did not ask what they could get anyone, they just waited for the customer to speak first. I find that to be rude. 2) One of the employees was texting on her cell phone behind the counter where the cream cheese is displayed while people lined up, waiting to pay. Consequently, she made us all wait until she was finished. 3) When I got my bagel sandwich, the bagel was not toasted, as I had requested it, it was not cut in half(as they have customarily done in the past– which ok, I cut it myself, but it was difficult to do with a plastic butter knife. Anyways, that’s not the point. The fact that I even had to cut it at all was the point), and the cheese was not melted. In fact, the slice of cheese was still COLD. 4) Lastly, as I was sitting there eating my gross cold and floppy sandwich, the three employees were talking about fellow employees so loudly that it could clearly be heard by the customers– they were even yelling across the store, and one of them even cussed, as she was complaining about her coworkers. I find this to be unprofessional. As a customer, I don’t want to hear that– I’d rather the employees put more effort into getting our orders right and making them edible and less effort into gossiping on the job.

Came here to grab a panini to go. Tried one of their spinach artichoke sandwiches. Tasted kind of sour and opened up the sandwich to find a neon green spot inside the bread. Not sure if it was moldy bread or part of the dressing. Hope there’s fresher ingredients next time.

Service was slow and the person that took our order was very short with us. I can understand having a bad day but don’t bring it to work.

Ok, this place can get a bit pricey if you’re not ordering something basic like the bagel w/spread and coffee combo. That only runs about $ 4.50 tax and all. The bagels taste fresh and chewy, the spreads(the pumpkin is seasonal and is delicious) are spread on generously so get a napkin! The coffee tastes good and the atmosphere inside is pleasant and the employees are polite. There’s only standing room so you’ll need to step out into the mall to be seated. They also provide a faster Wi-Fi than the Crown Center provides.

I’m a fan of this place. But it’s such a temptation for me to come in when I just want some coffee. I’m a sucker for their cinnamon sugar bagels, cinnamon raisin and pumpkin bagels. I do really love their vanilla hazelnut flavored coffee. They brew it to serve hot and cold. I like it iced with just a little vanilla syrup. I love coming here in the fall for all things pumpkin. They have pumpkin bagels, bagel holes, pumpkin cream cheese and autumn coffee. I really haven’t tried many of the bagel sandwiches, panini sandwiches, etc. I do like that they have thin bagels for sandwiches so if you don’t want a heavy meal, it’s nice. I love the one with smoked salmon on it. Definitely get in here and check it out if you haven’t yet. Also check the KC star because they usually have a coupon or two.

Came for lunch with my husband, liked some things about this place, not too happy with others… so minus two stars from me. LIKED: –The BBQ chicken panini was delicious. I liked the carmelized onions, nice touch! The bread was crispy and the insides were nice and melty. –The Italian chicken panini was also pretty good. Hard to go wrong with pesto, mozzarella and red peppers. DISLIKED: –it was super hot in there! We arrived around 1pm on a Sunday, so I don’t think they were still baking anything, but dang, turn on some A/C if you want happy customers. –dirty tables, staff was all over(I counted 4) but no one was greeting or thanking or making any particular effort –price is higher than the food merits Verdict, I would probably come here again(with a coupon) and get the food to go. But I won’t be in a big hurry to do so.

Best Einstein brothers bagels in the area! Always clean, employees friendly, bagels great. The location is not very good but at least it’s always quiet there and not over crowded! Manager, Dave, now is very good! Hopefully corporate wont move him again.

I really like this place but I have a hard time giving an amazing rating to something that is an expensive bagel joint. I stopped in one day for breakfast and left 9 dollars later… for a bagel and yogurt.
