Decent Chinese sit down restaurant however the portion size was small compared to take out. Little out dated too.

Wife says best fried rice! I love their tuna Tataki. Sushi and sashimi delicious. Best general Tso. Best egg drop soup. The owners are nice, and you can tell they take pride in their food.

The absolute best sushi for my palate in the area and I tend to be a sushi snob. I want to try their kitchen food but I can’t pass on the sushi.

Worst sushi EVER! I told them it didn’t taste fresh and it tasted old and fishy. I asked if I could send back and order something else and they told me NO! NEVERGOHERE

It is so nice to still have a good old fashion Chinese restaurant, there have been so many pop up mall style to go shops where the quality is so so. The orang beef is awesome and sushi delicious.

Trying to find good Chinese food is often like spotting a unicorn, so when you find one you stick to it. I found Bamboo Gardens to be very clean, good service, large portions, and decent prices. I gave it a 4 because there was very little sauce on the General Tao chicken and it was really crunchy, like double fried way too long. The flavor of the sauce was great, just not enough of it. The Pork Fried Rice, and Egg Drop Soup were very good. The egg rolls are way over priced for what you get, but they are tasty, and the Crab Rangoon was also really good, however I like a little more cream cheese and not all crab in my Rangoon’s. All in all a pretty good place to eat. We went at an off hour(I don’t play well with others sometimes, and I have no filter so we usually eat at weird times) so I don’t know how busy they get, but I do recommend this place.

Located in a row of unassuming strip stores, the location is not exactly a locale that will draw someone not familiar with the restaurant. However, do give it a try. First, my friend comes from New York City, and was so happily surprised that finally he had found«real» pork fried rice here. He has always complained that other Chinese restaurants serve plain yellow rice that he was ready to return to NYC just to taste it once more. He happily rated this a 5! As for myself, I love their egg drop soup. I am also enamored with their Lemon Chicken. The lemon sauce is tantalizingly delicate yet just lemony enough. The service has always been excellent, and we keep going back as well as bringing friends in to try this location as well. Everyone goes back just as we do!

We searched Unilocal for a Chinese restaurant in the area while in Daytona for vacation. We were quite pleased we tried this one. We each ordered a combination dinner, The mixed soup, egg drop and wonton, was very good. The shrimp with lobster sauce, the kung pao beef, and the fried rice were also very good. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the egg rolls. They were greasy and tasteless. All in all I would recommend trying Bamboo Garden for some really good Chinese food just skip the egg rolls!

I absolutely love the sushi at Bamboo Gardens. The sushi is so fresh and you can taste every ingredient from the description on the menu. Hot and fresh it’s fabulous even when you call up for take out.

Best sushi in town. Always. Hands down. Sometimes we HAVE to go elsewhere when we are out of town. We are always sad because it’s just not BAMBOO. They have spoiled us for sure.

MSG nightmare, it’s been a long time that I’ve visited an Asian restaurant that still depended on MSG. I guess I should have called first and asked but didn’t. There was nothing on the menu that was MSG free, and they were unable to prepare scallops and veggies sauteed in butter and garlic, I was given it in a nasty white sauce. Had I been alone I would have gone elsewhere, had I not had a terrible allergy to MSG I guess I could have found something to enjoy, but there is no reason to use it other then plain laziness and no imagination.

Best sushi in town! Best quality sushi! Often imitated never duplicated! I’ve been here many times and it’s great every time! I’ve been to sushi bars across America and I always compare it to Bamboo. I always say the same thing. Bamboo Garden is the best! Iron chef Morimoto has nothing on Bamboo’s sushi. I’ve been there and left disappointed… I would like to see a tv show called sushi wars. If so I would recommend they compete.

My wife and I ate here about two months ago and what a surprise. We didn’t expect too much but were very happy with what we had. Being from SoCal I am used to outstanding Asian food an although this wasn’t that good, it was the best we have had in the area. Coincidentally we both ordered the«hotpot», she mild, me spicy. Mine could have used a bit more«heat» but the flavor was excellent and the amount was copious. My only criticism is service could be a little more attentive.

Bamboo garden is in a plaza .the décor has much to be desired … They promptly sat us at a booth and from that point service was slow not even checking on us once… We ordered sushi . My DTR simple Cali rolls… made her burp the rest of the night. Me I ordered the dragon roll, spider roll and spicy tuna, impressive display however the tuna was I believe bad … Not the rite color, tasted awful and smelled like rotten chicken!!! The other two rolls were OK but both had a underlying sweet taste… hmmm any how they removed the tuna from the check and as the night continued my stomach bloated awful and I has serious gas pains and could not stop burping… Be ware if you plan on eating here !!! Huge disappointment .I really wanted good sushi!!!

Food is super fresh with reasonable pricing. Portion is also good. Service is Superb!!! The sushi bar is where you can view their sushi and drinks preparation. We had the baked fish and it is special from the Chef. Fresh caught of the day! It came with mixture of herbs, cut mango & cucumber and salad. Additionally, spring rolls wrapper with vermicelli were given and we made our own rolls. There was not enough words to describe the freshness of leaned, baked, fresh wild caught fish!

I heard good things about this place from friends, and finally, we tried it. My family dined here a few months ago. The experience was great, that I could not pass up giving this Asian resto a 5 star — from the ambiance, the staff, the food and the price! We will back here for sure.

Great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Sushi is fresh and the atmosphere is very calming. The prices are also great! You get more than what you pay for. Very impressed.

If I was alone at this restaurant and ordered what i did, I would personally give it 5 stars. But since I was with my dad, I have to consider what he got into my review Ok let’s start with the service! The service was good, but not the best. They filled up your water when it was low SOMETIMES. I was eating and I was SOOTHIRSTY, but oh well. They give you complimentary fried wontons and they were VERYGOOD, especially with the sauce they give you! Other then the water incident the service was good Next, my meal. For lunch I had the PORKPADTHAI(I posted a picture) without veggies! ITWASVERYGOOD! The only thing I would change is the thickness or add more of the sauce. Other than that the pad thai was SUPERGOOD! I would definitely order it again! There was a good amount of pork and eggs which was good because I want pork in my pork pad thai! What really made me happy about this dish was the noodles! THENOODLESWEREHOMEMADE!!! You can tell it was homemade because the noodles just had a fresh taste and they were all different sizes! So overall MYMEALWASEXCELLENT!!! Thirdly, my dad and his friends meal. This meal lost that 5th star. They both got the KUNGPOWCHICKEN(no picture sorry) ordered spicy. My dad eats there every time it rains(it’s a tradition) and orders the Kung pow chicken spicy, he normally likes it, but he said they changed the recipe. My dad said the sauce was too thick and it didn’t taste as good as it used too. Both would NOT recommend the Kung Pow Chicken! Lastly, my dad and his friend got the EGGDROPSOUP. I think they really liked it because they were throwing out compliments. They tasted something different tho, we just couldn’t put our finger on it! Something different in a good way! We were curious of how they made the soup, mostly the syrup part. Anyways the soup is a go! In conclusion, my experience here was great but my dads… not so much but I would REALLYRECOMMENDTHISPLACE if you are in town! IT’S A GOODPLACE, GOEATTHERE!!!

How could you not like authentic made from scratch vietnamese, thai and chinese cuisine! And the sucshi is the best in Ormond Beach. Sit at the sushi bar and Hanh and her son Ryan will keep your palate happy! Fresh Scallops are a must!
