3 stars for good service, but pretty lackluster food. A solid«not offensive, but I’ve had better.» First off– I used to love Red Lobster in college. Relatively cheap seafood, lots of salty-goodness, and never-ending cheesy biscuits. What could be better for a coed on a budget?! After having taken a multi-year hiatus I was invited to lunch with some family and though the service was really friendly and on-point, the food didn’t delight like it used to.(As a note– it’s likely not the food that has changed, but my taste for it.) The biscuits, though delicious, are so incredibly salty that they cause you to guzzle down your water/drink(kudos for refilling our glasses often!). The side salads are mostly small, inoffensive squares of iceberg that feel like their cut for the least amount of effort necessary on the part of the eater. Someone I was with really enjoyed his, but I would have loved some leafy, dark greens. It seemed more like a vehicle for us to consume as much dressing as possible and I’m that sense it was successful. I ordered the rainbow trout(grilled) with rice and green beans. The fish was slightly overcooked, though not terrible, but the green beans were limp and oddly sweet. It was just a bit of a disappointing dish. I also got to try my husband’s crab Alfredo pasta. One piece of advice is to share the portions here. They’re huge! Again, pretty heavy on the salt, but tasty(because of said salt). If I could give any advice it’d be to shorten the menu and really focus on making each dish shine.

Food was not good. My son found a hair in his salad right after there was something that looked like a bug smeared on my strawberry lemonade glass. The waitress tried to tell me that it was fuzz from the strawberry. Last time here. Every time we go the service gets worse.

New Yeas Eve & Olga Birthday Celebration. Dinner for eight with a great server David. He was by far the greatest server in the restaurant & I would come back & request his area. Our food was good, hot & correct. I like the new menu, which was a big draw on this visit.

Lets start with the fact that i did not choose this restaurant, it was picked by my hubby. He is on a strict diet and steamed shellfish was the choice for the night, so off we headed to Red Lobster. It is a nice restaurant with cozy booths, I think recently rehabbed. We were treated right away by our server. he wanted a drink order and an app order. I had not even opened the menu yet. I told him i needed a few minutes. He came back 3 times in like 5 minutes, while still perusing the drink menu… seriously, he did not look and see if i looked ready, just kept coming. But still seemed really nice… I got an excellent Amaretto Colada, not a frozen drink. Hubby ordered a lobster tail and a whole steamed lobster which they did nicely. My meal was the disaster. I ordered a featured steak and lobster pairing. I know, I know… what was I thinking ordering steak. But hey it was featured and had a mushroom marsala sauce paired with a stuffed lobster tail. The steak came out medium well. At this point bthe waiter was no where to be seen. No checkback for a long time. I finally flagged down a random waiter and he showed up. he took the steak off my plate and after awhile a new steak showed up. This one was cooked a little better but no longer had the nice sauce or any of the mushrooms on it. I did not complain because it had been quite a while and hubs was done eating. The problems with service were just part of the problem. He was nice and friendly but missing the skill set. The meal was pretty expensive for sub par lobster and service. if I had gone to casual fine dining I would have received better service for about the same price.

We have been to this location on multiple occasion and we continue to be impressed at the service! Our glasses were never half empty and the servers had already walked up with refills! Food was served in a timely manner! If this service continues, we will definitely continue coming!!! Fantastic Job!!!

Disappointed!!! Poor poor service. Wait time for food was very lengthily. Also if you order endless shrimp, expect huge delay before you get more shrimp or be forgotten!!! Reminders to waiter are necessary, otherwise you’ll be forgotten!!! Plates were removed from the table and check presented as we were waiting for food. Mistakes on the check was icing on the cake. Food was blend and all together a very disappointing experience. Will not come back to this red lobster!!! Very poor poor customer service.

My husband and I went to Red Lobster for the first time under the new owners about two months. It was horrible. Way way way overprice now. We both ordered the Ultimate Feast which came with a small lobster tail, fried shrimp, snow crab legs, and shrimp scampi. The lobster was just okay. The fried shrimp was inedible. Way too much batter. The snow crab was good thankfully. The shrimp scampi was again just okay. My husband agreed and didn’t even eat all his fried shrimp and scampi. Oh, and those cheese biscuits they are famous for? They have them but they are not the same. Usually we ask for more, but we didn’t even finish the first basket of them. We will definitely never be back. It is a shame because I really liked it when it was owned by Darden Restaurants.

Such an awful experience. First of all our server was pretty good but that’s about it. My salmon portion was way smaller than I ever got. I got 3 ½ small scallops… the food was so disappointing. I will go to another Red Lobster from now on.

After my sisters graduation we decided to go to dinner. They said our party of 9 would be a 25 to 30 minute wait because of the size after seeing several large parties leave and speaking to the hostess several times we waited almost an hour. We understand that it was 9:30 on a Saturday night but they seated a party larger than us that arrived after us. Once we were seated Keegan took very good care of us and made it an enjoyable experience. The food was great with no disappointments other than it came out a little fast while we were still eating our salads.

Big crowd when our party of 3 arrived and was told it wld be a 25 min wait. But had to wait only 5. The service was excellent. Everything good. Melissa the waitress made it better with her attentiveness. I read some bad reviews before but I definitely think things have changed for the good.

Came here the day before valentines day with my boyfriend, knowing it was gonna be busy but not as busy as the next day. Got a table pretty quickly, they estimated a 20 minute wait and we only had to wait 10 min. Our food was delicious and gotten to us quickly. The service was wonderful, checking up on us often but not overwhelmingly often.

Red Lobster has become synonymous with mediocre for me based on the last several locations I have visited. My husband and I have a joke-Red Lobster, we know what we’ll get, and yet we keep on trying. I guess you can say at least they are consistent. However, my 80 year old Father loves them(an frequently has coupons for them). So when we went out to eat along with my little one, and he requested it, I obliged. Initially, the service was great. We arrived pre-dinner rush(around 4 ish) and our server came right over to take our drink orders. Out came the drinks with our basket of biscuits-so far, so good. I ordered Walt’s Shrimp and my Dad, the Broiled Seafood Trio. Our salads came out just a few minutes after that. Things were, up until that point, going great. Then it happened. Our college aged waiter began serving the table behind us, a table of his peers, who were seated just as we were eating our salads. I am not sure if he knew them, or if they just had a lot in common, but from that point on, we were ignored. We finished our salads, and by that point needed water refills, and all we could do was wait for the waiter to finish his conversations about video games and hobbies with the table behind us. My little girl, bless her heart, was doing so well considering that an hour after being seated we still didn’t have our food, but I was growing leery by the second of how much longer she’d last. Then I noticed it-that table you happen to watch get seated in another waiter’s section. That table that came in a good 15 minutes after you. Those people are now eating their main courses and you still don’t have yours. Now, I don’t like to be rude, but finally, I’d had enough. I turned around, caught the waiter’s eye, and said«can you please check on our food?» He scurried off to the kitchen, and surprise! Our food was ready and he came back with it. The plates were scalding hot, because I am sure they were sitting under a lamp for quite some time. Based on that, the food tasted even worse than I remembered it before, especially my Dad’s Broiled Platter. We scarfed our respective dishes down anyway, namely to alleviate my daughter’s increasing agitation. So, while I’d normally give a three star rating, I’m dropping it to 2 based on the bad service. But guess what? Give me six months and I’ll probably try again.

I like the red lobster franchise and their food in general. The issue at this specific location was the service. Last time I was there was September of 2013, but I didn’t get around to writing a review about the restaurant until now, nonetheless the absurd events of that night are still very fresh in my memory. This goes to show how horrific the experience was, and I actually have not been able to convince myself to go back there since(even though I live only 2 miles away)! Anyway, four friends and I decided to go in to get dinner. We arrived at approximately 4 and the place was pretty empty. The server took our order right away, but when we asked him about some drink prices he said he’d check and never got back to us. Needless to say, none of us ended up ordering drinks but one person because the waiter never came back with answers to our questions. We waited about 40 mins to get our food, 2 of us had salads that came out at the same time as the meal. They were annoyed and asked for the server to hold their entrées because they didn’t want to have a cold dinner, at that point the manager came over and apologized and said their meals would be remade fresh. We also informed her that my friend who order a specialty drink still had not received it and she was already eating her meal. The manager came back with the drink. Some of us got endless shrimp, every time we ordered another round it would take about 30 to 40 mins for us receive our the shrimp. My friends’s entrees came out after they were done with salads, but the plates were hot and the food had obviously been sitting in the kitchen for a while, meaning that although Christina, the manager, had offered to have their meals remade freshly, her offer was not honored! At that point we were quite mad and frustrated that a simple dinner was now 4 hours long. One of my friends had ordered one last round and after waiting over 45 minutes for it, we just decided to go and he never received his last round of endless shrimp. Before we left the manager had come over to the table one last time and apologized For all the issues and gave us 5 $ off EXPIRED coupons for the next time we decided to come in. All in all, the service was slow, the manager did not honor her promises nor did she fix any issues, and her $ 5 off EXPIRED coupon has not convinced any of the 5 of us to return there in the last 7 months. Last but not least, one of my friends tipped the server cash, but a few days later realized there was a tip added to her credit card slip. disappointed in the management of the place, my friend did not even bother to complain any further. Needless to say, this was truly a nightmare and have I never experienced anything like this in my life!

We decided on Red Lobster in order to catch Lobsterfest before it ends. We were not very impressed with the overall quality and selection of the menu. My wife had the Dueling Tails which consisted of two Maine tails, one with a seafood stuffing which was bland and a bit chewy and the other tail was just plain. The broccoli they served on both of our plates was undercooked and it came out lukewarm. I decided to go with the Seaport Lobster and Shrimp and I was completely disappointed. The shrimp were tiny and tasteless despite the garlic broth they were served in. The lobster tail was very salty and it was also on the small side. This used to be our favorite location but it has fallen off. I can see why Red Lobster is going down the drain fast, their innovative creations have disappeared and their quality has completely hit rock bottom. For the prices that you pay, the expectations are a lot higher and they are not being met. The service was just ok. Our server was attentive but we felt a bit rushed especially when we were seated. Before we could open our menus, she was asking us what we wanted for appetizers. I feel they should always take a drink order and then come back and ask about appetizers. We decided on nothing and just requested some biscuits. This location is always on the busy side but the overall atmosphere just feels different and not in a good way. In my opinion, the company needs to revisit the basics that made them successful. We are taking a long break from Red Lobster, too many other options around town that serves real seafood platters!

I love this place for their famous biscuits! I just try their signature dish with all the seafood in it and I loved it!!! and I don’t even eat lobster. They just remodeled the Waterford Lakes location and we felt very comfortable, its bright, clean and elegant. I ordered a fruity drink with rum and it was really good too… I forgot the name, sorry. Our server was helpful.

We’ve eaten at this Red Lobster several times. The food is always tough for me to eat because I like my fish fried and I try to stay away from fried foods. My husband loves lobster and has had pretty good luck with it. Once it wasn’t cooked well enough. We both like the prawns. My husband will eat crab. I dislike the fact you can’t get rolls without cheese on them since I’m lactose intolerant. The salads tend to be pretty good and delivered as asked. The desserts are pretty good, my husband and I both like Key Lime Pie. Lunch portions can be too small. Combo portions can be too big. It seems size is always difficult at Red Lobster. Fries portions tend to be small and baked potatoes just average. Service is usually really good with a leisurely pace that’s good for fine dining – should be since you’re paying well. The bathrooms are always clean and fresh with good supplies. We usually eat at lunch time and it tends to be less busy during those hours. What can I say? Its a chain restaurant and they have a pretty consistent menu,

Service was good and the place looks nice. I had the 1.5 lobster dinner… very bland. I wouldn’t recommend this at all. I also shared a seafood dinner which was nothing special either. Parking stinks too if they are busy. Can’t wait to go back; lol.

When I get older, will I still be interested in trying new things, being adventurous and seeking out the unknown? Or will I sink down into a comfort zone, going only to places I’ve been to before and offer no surprises whatsoever? Obviously, I hope it’s the former. But not everyone is like that, and when an elderly relative sent me a gift card to Olive Garden a while back I appreciated the gesture but the card went unused for some time. When it turned up, I looked at the back and thankfully it turns out that it would work at any of the Darden restaurants. I wanted Longhorn, but my fiancée wanted shrimp and it was her birthday weekend so okay. Our service was great. The waiter was friendly and the food came out in a very reasonable time. The food itself? They were doing the all you can eat shrimp deal, but I passed on that since I’m trying to watch my weight and meals such as those tend to be counterproductive to that goal. Not that the coconut shrimp plate I ordered was going to be a whole lot better, but it tasted okay and I didn’t have the temptation to order more as I would have with AYCE shrimp. I was happy with the serving size, and the mashed potatoes were okay. Of course, those cheddar biscuits are good. There’s nothing wrong with Red Lobster as far as I can tell, it’s just that there’s nothing particularly special about it. Well, except when you have a gift card in your hand. A free meal is always special to some degree.
