Bonefish Grill is one of my favorite restaurants. I have a favorite that I often frequent in Pennsylvania and I’m never dissapointed. This was not my first time to this location in Orlando. Got to say, not my favorite, but I keep returning hoping to get the same quality of food and service that I get at the Pennsylvania location but it’s just not happening. The waitress was just ok. The bang bang shrimp, which is one of my favorite choices, seemed lacking in taste and appeal, my broccoli was raw and not even cooked and my entrée was Lily’s chicken was ok. Not sure why this location just doesn’t add up. Not really worth the cost.

So I been here for brunch two Sunday’s on row love the brunch here the service is amazing. If you the endless brunch is the best deal for $ 19.90 you get the food n unlimited mimosa, Bellini or sangria. I had the bang bang shrimp eggs Benedict it was great, I’ve tried the California omelette amazing, I’ve tried the calamari omg the sauce is to die for, I’ve tried the surf n tuft egg Benedict it was also great. You get to choose unlimited mimosa, peach Bellini or sangria personally I like the peach Bellini instead of the mimosa and I’m a mimosa person. Service it’s great you don’t have to wait for the next glass they bring it right out as soon as they see your glass is half done. Highly recommend it… The PRICEOF19.90UNLIMITEDDRINKS

Food poisoning from chicken teriyaki. Had to call in sick for work because of it. The dishes had way too much sodium as well. Imperial tilapia was good the first time, but it’s just way too seasoned. I loved the corn chowder the first time I came here. In fact it was the best I have ever had. But this time around, it was not creamy, it was more in the sour zone, as if it was cooked with spoiled milk. Not sure what happened, but not going back as something clearly happened as all the dishes changed from awesome to omg, what is this?

Wanted to share a positive experience with the community regarding a local restaurant. This week I was diagnosed with many food allergies, it was a reality that I was fighting for my whole life. I didn’t realize that I would have to give up foods that are in EVERYTHING so I can reduce medications. So, after much debate over what’s the safest option for a person new to food eliminations, we opted for bonefish grill. I was so afraid I would mess up. Our waitress, Jennifer and her manager, both helped me greatly. I was able to find a few appetizers that worked and have some adult bevies. Jennifer asked me if there was anything else she could do for me. I told her if she could find me a dessert it would complete my night, because it also happens to be my birthday. They chopped up a bowl of strawberries and put a candle on it for me. Clearly, I could have been treated as a nuisance, left to figure out the menu options and hope for the best… But they were not going to let that happen. I could have left without a birthday dessert… They didn’t allow it! If you have allergies and want to enjoy a safe meal with your loved ones. This is the place to go. Compassion is outstanding from wait staff to manager. Thank you, Jennifer, Manager and Staff for making my 41st better than I expected.

It has been a long time since I have set foot in a Bonefish Grill. We were seated outside at the request of my wife and Our server was on top of things in the beginning. Her knowledge of the menu was quite impressive. She had me torn between the Haddock and the Soft Shell Crab but it has been a while since I have has a good soft shell crab. My wife started with The Mule and loved it. We shared some mussels and they were cooked perfectly but they were a tad bit light on seasoning. The bread was wonderful and dangerous in a good way. The salad my wife had was OK but nothing special. For entrees my wife wanted the Saucy Shrimp from the appetizer menu and I opted for the Soft Shell Crab with Broccoli and Jasmine Rice. The flavor combination for the shrimp was not impressive but some shrimp were overcooked and some were cooked right. The sun dried tomatoes just did not work for that dish and my wife and I love sun dried tomatoes. For my dish the best part was the Broccoli and Jasmine Rice. The Soft Shell Crab was overcooked and had a burnt taste to it like it was cooked in old oil that was not hot enough. It was greasy and not in a pleasant way. The lump crab on top was not bad but the tomatoes didn’t help the dish at all. I tried but after a few bites I just pushed my dish to the side. The manager came to the table and informed me how they prepare their Soft Shell Crab and it was apparent that the heat was too high and the butter used to cook it in was burnt along with the crab leaving an awful taste. She offered to get me something else but I declined and she took it off the bill. I left the server a generous tip because it was not her fault that my crab was disappointing… She did her job! The Mule — 5 Bread — 5 Mussels — 4 Salad — 3 Saucy Shrimp — 2 Soft Shell Crab — 1 Service — 4 I suspect that if the kitchen had prepared our food correctly it might have been a better experience. The server and Manager did their jobs but the kitchen was not delivering today… A Florida Foodie

We wanted to try out this location in Waterford Lakes. We were promptly. Adam was our waiter this evening. He was very enthusiastic about Bonefish. He had a couple of cocktail recommendations of which we enjoyed Hawaiian martini. After looking at the menu for a few minutes, Adam explained to us how we can customize our meals. My wife ordered a tilapia dish, which she seems to have inhaled. I ordered a steak and crab cake dish, with a fresh sautéed spinach side, and grilled broccoli. Both of our dishes were cooked perfectly. The cocktail suggestions were a wonderful recommendation. We were too full for dessert, but Adam recommended that we take the bread home and make French toast with it the next morning. Which we did. Thank you for great service that evening, and for the suggestion on the French toast. I wonder how many diners that sat at one of Adams tables were enjoying French toast the next morning. Keep up the good work Adam, we can tell that you enjoy what you are doing.

My husband and I went out to dinner last night to the new Bonefish Grill on Alayafa Trail. What a pleasant experience from the time we got there till the time we left. We were welcomed and seated promptly by the hostess. Then, our server, Adam, welcomed us with suggestions for cocktails, and then took our drink order our appetizer order and give us time to look over the menu before we ordered our entrée. When he came back, he went over all the specials that were on the menu as well as telling us different ways we could customize the entrées for our likes. After dinner, of course, he inquired if we wanted dessert. We told him no and he promptly brought our check. As we were leaving, he was standing at the exit and held the door open for us to leave. What a pleasant experience we had because of our server, Adam. By the way, Adam’s suggestion to take our leftover bread home and make it into French toast the next morning was brilliant. I am now sitting here on Sunday morning enjoying Bonefish Grill French toast bread. Thank you Adam.

Second time my take out order has been incomplete upon sitting down for dinner. Food review —- Chilean Sea Bass is always good. The price for the large size portion is a bit much. Second time getting the seasonal veggie which happens to be spinach at the present time —- If you don’t like garlic — DONOT get this! Shrimp and Scallops — good choice.

Fantastic! Spent the weekend eating junk food at the convention center, this was a great port in the storm. Menu was very accommodating for our large group. And the service was outstanding. Not one to stray off the menu, but we had a special request to have the pecan crusted trout Oscared! It was terrific.

Great service and food. We happened to be near UCF and had gift cards so we stopped by this Bonefish for dinner. It was a little difficult to find because it is located in the plaza rather than be a stand alone building. They have a limited entrance as there is no u-turn allowed at the light. You have to go left on Lk Underhill and then make a left turn in to the parking lot, then circle back around. I liked how they had the exterior with the tables, heaters and the plastic shields from the wind. It made for a comfortable seating for any one wanting to watch the sun set on what was a very lovely day of weather. The interior was laid out nicely and it was easy to navigate to the booth and the bathrooms even though it was getting crowded. The staff was friendly and we had drinks delivered to the table with in a matter of minutes. We looked over the menu and found several specials which included the apps. Mine was an instant decision because I love the Chilean Sea Bass(which is one of the ugliest fishes in the ocean) and originally called the Patagonian toothfish. While a really ugly fish, when prepared perfectly the fish flakes apart like butter on a hot knife. Lucky for me I had a chef who knew how to cook it! The apps were the bacon wrapped scallops and they were perfectly done. The exterior was brown with a hint of black, light and tender on the inside, with the bacon wrapped around the outside like a fat person who’s belt was pulled a bit too tight. The fish was crispy and brown on the outside but white and flaky on the inside. It was perfectly done. No over cooked fish here nor was it under cooked. Give that chef a raise! My wife had, for the life of me I can’t remember, I believe Salmon, with the mango salsa with it. The fish was cooked perfectly and the crab stuffing on top was tasty. Overall it was a enjoyable experience and we really haven’t had a bad experience at any of the Bonefish locations. Their food and service has always been excellent and we will continue to return for delicious meals!

Delicious food and great service. I really liked the ambiance and the restaurant was pristine. They have daily deals $ 15-$ 20 three course meals. One of my friends doesn’t like shrimp therefore we were able to order bang bang chicken which was a win! The order of our appetizer took a little longer than expected, which the manager the. Came to our table and apologized as well providing it on the house. Overall great experience for the Waterford area. Everyone was satisfied and will be back.

First of all, I absolutely HATED that hideous, cheap brown paper bag type covering over the tables. What is that and why is that necessary? It really bugged me, obviously, especially because I feel like I would’ve felt like I was at a much fancier restaurant otherwise, even though it is a chain. Overall, the presentation could’ve used a tiny bit of help, as my Tilapia Imperial was brought to my table slightly deconstructed — I suppose since it was so stuffed, which of course, is NOT the worst thing ever! The dish itself was actually absolutely delicious! My husband had a grilled salmon with the pan Asian sauce, which I also tried and it was fabulous! To end our dinner date, we shared a crème brûlée, which was so much bigger than I imagined it would be! Service was good, as well. We’ll more than likely return in the future!

Bone Fish is the only place to go for seafood in the Waterford Lakes area. So, that’s that. I’ve been here a handful of times and it’s just OK. Our most recent visit we went to our trusty Unilocal app, typed in «oysters» and Bone Fish was the top suggestion. We checked the menu, and sure enough, they have oysters, so we decided to give it a try. It was a Saturday evening, but luckily we were seated right away. We started with the half dozen raw oysters and the ceviche. The oysters came out first, and right away we were worried. They were served with diced peppers and onions with a sauce on them. We had asked our server what kind of oysters they were and she never came back with a reply, so I can only assume they were some sort of farm-raised monstrosity. They were awful. Luckily we only ordered 6. The ceviche was much better. The presentation was really nice in a frozen cup. There was a good assortment of seafood and it was a good flavor. For my dinner I had the tomato avocado panzanella salad… which was basically a load of arugula with a little bit of tomato and avocado. Since arugula can be a bit too peppery on it’s own I would have really appreciated more avocado to cut the flavor, but it was OK. To go with that I ordered the ahi tuna sashimi. Seared tuna is one of my favorite foods, and this was really not good. The sauce was overpowering and the sesame seed crust on the end pieces made them nearly inedible. I was kind of sad at that point in my meal. On the bright side I had some fabulous drinks! My first drink was the wild orchid Hawaiian martini. It was pretty, tasty, and had an orchid in it. For my second drink I am pretty sure I ordered the pomegranate martini, but it had frozen grapes in it, and that makes no sense to me. I don’t understand what that drink was. My husband went with the steak and lobster, so he was pretty happy with his food. He did question the butter, but the server insisted it was real butter. He ordered the Moscow mule and was not impressed. He kind of complained about it but drank it anyway and ended up ordering the ultimate infused dirty martini, which he liked. So, very meh experience. I’ll give it 3 stars just because our service was very good and its’ a nice atmosphere, but a lot of our food and drinks were very questionable. I don’t think I’ll ever come here for oysters again, but for basics it’s OK.

I love, love, love their endless bubbles brunch. If you have not done this you have to try it at least once. My favorite is the blackberry sangria OMG! A must have. Also I like their surf and turf but I have to say that I enjoyed the crab omelet more but I love crab. I brought my in laws, husband and kids for the first time and they enjoyed the experience. If you take the kids to brunch just so you know there are only two options pancakes or eggs. My husband decided to try there Bloody Mary and he loved it. He said he was surprised by the blue cheese that was inside the tomato on top of his drink. I have also been here for dinner and like their bang bang shrimp but I love their sushmi. I am never disappointed when I come here I am always satisfied with everything.

I have been to this location of Bonefish Grill three times and I really wanted to like it. Each time I have been there the wait staff is very friendly and helpful but that doesn’t overcome the lack of attention to the food by the kitchen. The last two times I have been there, at least one of the items ordered was cold. When I say cold, the onion and tomato on the hamburger was frozen solid. The last time I was there the pot stickers had to be sent back to be warmed up. On the plus side the cucumber margarita was really good, very refreshing with the cucumber slices and lime. One other thing about the Waterford location is the restaurant itself is a little hard to find but once you find it there is plenty of parking available.

First ever visit to this location and we felt fortunate to find immediate seating at the end of one of the hightop tables near the bar. After waiting almost five minues, the first person to come to our table put drinks in front of us that were not for us. We told her that we hadn’t been asked to order yet. A few minutes later, a different server brought us a glass of wine and we told him the same thing. Finally, a server came to us, cleaned the table, brought menus and took our drink orders. Drinks were good, although we only had a glass of sangria and a draft beer, and even those took too long to arrive. Even our server apologized for how long we waited for those drinks. Our seating choice allowed us to order from the Bar Bites menu and we asked about the dim sum style buns with pork. When we asked how many were in one order, our server specifically said we would have about five of them. We were rather disappointed that the actual quantity was exactly three. While they had a decent taste, we would not have ordered this item had the server accurately told us there were only three. Our entrees were the Bang Bang tacos with a side of house chips and the BBQ grilled pork dish. The tacos were tasty and fresh, but the chips were overcooked and had virtually no flavor whatsoever. It is tough to make a bad batch of those type of potato chips, but the kitchen pulled it off. I subsituted green beans for whatever they usually served with the BBQ grilled pork and sweet potato mash and the bowl presentation was excellent. Just wish it had tasted as good as it looked. The pork was chewy and bland and I could only taste the BBQ sauce. For a $ 50 meal, there were just too many things in our experience that were average or worse. We were surprised because we honestly expect better from Bonefish.

The first thing I noticed about this BFG is the waiting area is really small. Any other time of year we’d stand outside, but it was cold the day we went. But with a touch of kindness and class, a hostess came around with some Bang Bang Shrimp for everyone to sample while we waited. Bravo! They also passed around some menus for us to look at. I’m a really indecisive guy, so this was a great help… or so I thought. Once we were seated, all my planning went out the window when I saw there was a daily special menu. THAT would have been helpful to have while we waited to be seated. My plan went out the window as I had a whole new set of items to consider. Speaking of seating, we noticed there were a number of tables that remained unseated. Our guess is that they didn’t want to overwhelm the wait staff. But here’s my thought: I’d prefer to wait while seated at my table instead of waiting on my feet in a waiting area that’s too small. Our server was really nice, if not a bit forgetful. I ordered the lobster stuffed shrimp as an appetizer, and it is awesome! I also ordered the crab cakes as an entrée and added an order of crab fried rice as a side. While the crab cakes were great; be sure to ask for cocktail sauce. I’d say don’t bother with the crab fried rice. It was bland and had a strange texture for fried rice. The cous cous wasn’t bad, just not my preference. My wife’s meal was okay. She ordered the kobe beef burger. It didn’t have much flavor. Thankfully we shared the fish and chips as an appetizer. I look forward to coming back soon. I’ll be sure to ask for a specials menu while we wait.

Alright alright — so I was contacted by management awhile ago through my disappointment with them when I contacted them. I was able to make my way back over to the same location. I’ve also gone back other times. I didn’t refer to my prior visits when I’ve gone here afterwards… The dish I get most of the time here for dinner is the Chilean Sea Bass. When they grill it right, it is off the charts! They give you 3 choices of sauces which if you’re indecisive, you can get all three. The fish itself when done right gets so juicy and just flakes right off onto your fork. Sometimes they even have a little charred spots where its slightly smokey and crunchy — those are my faves with the skin. Unfortunately, I’ve also had it when they left it on the grill too long and cause it to be dry. Also I’ve noticed the fish has been frozen just a tad pass their prime. Bummer. When the normal size of the fish cost about 27 dollars, I really want it be done right.(BTW, I would suggest not ordering the small size because its really not worth it but get the normal one for a couple dollars) The service has been good the few times I’ve gone back and don’t mind going again for casual dinners. They were tentative and very friendly. I thought the manager of this particular location handle the situation appropriately and applaud him for contacting me after I expressed my concerns on the website.

It’s a chain, but I have to admit– they do it right! We had a large group and from the moment we were led to the table to the moment we left we were treated with great service!(Though we did have to wait a few minutes to get seated, even with a reservation– I can totally excuse this for our large group of 12) We started with bread for the table(what appeared to be freshly baked bread!) and I ordered the Grouper special with a side of seasonal veggies and steamed broccoli. I’ll admit, I was expecting dry fish of the variety I usually get at large chain restaurants, but this was an incredibly flavorful and moist fish steak. The grouper was cooked perfectly and I could have my choice of sauce(I went with the lemon tomato sauce based on the server’s suggestion). They also somehow made broccoli taste rich and savory with fabulous seasoning(and my sodium intake for the day– but I’ll take it!). I got to try the Macadamia Nut Brownie, a flourless brownie with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream, sprinkled with macadamia nuts. It was good, but the portion was a bit large– definitely made for sharing! Finally, as the group got ready to leave they brought to-go boxes, and though they didn’t pack your food for you, they did have some great ocean-inspired drawings on each box! Nice touch!
