Just got room service from here — the blackened chicken pasta — delivered to my room at the nearby Doubletree Hilton. It was the lamest take out order I’ve ever gotten. The sliced chicken was cold and came in a separate styrofoam container(really), and was likely cut out of a plastic pouch after it was cooked from frozen in a microwave. The pasta was in a watery«Alfredo» sauce and was flavorless. A single piece of cold garlic bread came along with it, smothered with some sort of dark orange butter. To top it all off… my order came with NO earring utensils or napkins. I had to go down to the hotel lobby and beg the bartender for them. Think twice before you waste your money here — as they don’t even deserve the label of «restaurant!»(See photos of my order!).

Just tried ordering togo from kirkman Ale House location in Orlando, FL. Was put on hold for over ten minutes then disconnected. Called back and let the woman who answered know what just happened. Not only did she not apologize, she put me on hold again! A gentleman answered and I told him what happened but I don’t think he had any power to do anything about it. He just took my order. Just underwhelming. Contacted them through Facebook about the incident and was told to email someone else. OBVIOUSLY no one here cares and they just pass the buck to someone else.

Couldn’t get in to eat because they’re charging a 10 dollar cover even just eat. I don’t care about some fight. I just wanted food, so i was directed that i could get it to go. How much is a PPV anyway? If 200 ppl come an go from eating and some stay for the fight… I’m sure the cover is a bit extreme. Seriously, is business that bad you can’t make up the cost of the PPV from food and alcohol sales?

OMG! Best wings on Kirkman! I also enjoy the zinger salad and zinger mountain melt! Great atmosphere for the whole family! But just keep in mind it is pretty busy on nights and weekends, but that won’t stop me from coming!

Sat at the bar for lunch because I didn’t want to take up a big table. Picked a salad that said chicken and shrimp, when I asked them to skip the chicken Amy(my bar attendant) she said no problem she would tell them to have shrimp only. When I got the salad it was loaded and very large. The whole meal was under $ 15 and very good.

I never really had any problems with any Miller’s Ale House until tonight. I ordered Ribeye medium rare. The first steak came in and the edges were medium well. I know this is normal so I kept going. When I hit the middle, it was well done. So I sent it back. They cooked a new steak and brought it to the table. I cut it open and wham… Well done. WTF. Not even medium… Well done. No hint of pink. I didn’t eat it. I Squared up with the waitress. I know this is a kitchen error so I tipped the waitress and left.

I got the meal through room service at Doubletree Inn. Desert was very good. The main meal came with garlic bread that was separately wrapped in foil. The food was pretty good, but not great. Portion was large and I couldn’t finish it all. I got the Cajun chicken pasta dish. Chicken had a good Cajun flavor and portion was good. Food came pretty fast and was warm. I may or my not use again when staying there.

Great find in the midst of tourist central. Family members each able to choose from a wide variety of foods. Great kids meal options(salads, grilled chicken, Italian foods) not just chicken tenders or burger. And the kids eat free on Tuesday night! Score! Adults had great bar menu selection as well as blackened fish, steaks and a huge appetizer sampler. Great service and comfortable atmosphere

First time here with family on vacation. Menu very comparable to other chain restaurants. Great drink specials $ 8 pitchers, $ 2.50 daily cocktail specials. Nice to see these good prices after spending all day at Universal Studios and being squeezed for every penny. Zingers are great even wife liked them and she was skeptical. Daughter had the Big Red. Very impressive sandwich wish I would have ordered it. Overall food was great price was in line with competitors. It is a sports theme bar big TVs, music and a casual atmosphere. Kids meal(our youngest only) came with free scoop of ice cream our server offered it to all my kids! I’m in the area no doubt I will be back.

We have a Millers Ale house near me in NY. I wanted to watch the Islanders Wild game at the restaurant. Fridays didn’t get the channel so they directed me here. Matt D was my server. He was great! fast quality service with a smile. I had the Osso Bucco special, which was ok. What you would expect from a chain. The gravy was from a can and the Osso Bucco was a little overcooked but still tasty. There has to be something good there Matt said he worked there for 11 years. A good solid choice for food and a sporting event. Total bill with food and 2 beers $ 22.

I prefer this Ale House location over the others in the Orlando area. Service is always friendly and for some reason the food always comes out fast. We usually sit out at the bar which is enclosed and allows access inside. Parking is a little weird and it can be a bit confusing since you can enter the restaurant from the front or back. Either way, I love it here. I always get the 35 Fried Shrimp tossed in garlic Parmesan sauce. The sweet tai chili daub is amazing too.

Stopped in here for lunch while in Orlando before visiting family. The scene was nice and mellow being it was early Sunday afternoon. Our server Hillary was nice and helpful. I had the zinger mountain which was honey BBQ chicken tenders on top of seasoned fries with melted cheese and bacon. It was good for sucking up the liquor from the night before.

Even though this was not my first place of choice to eat at but it was the closest. Ok I’m over my attitude now with the review. My server Hillary was excellent at her job. I didn’t have to ask for refills, she was Johnny on the spot. She also was smiling with a great attitude(that makes a difference). Hillary recommend the Hamburger flat bread but I chose to get Zingers Flat bread, it was a lil on the dry side so I added ranch dressing on top helped. I got a sweet tea because I read it was the bomb on Colleen’s page. It was good and I did get a cup to go. The atmosphere is typical of sports bar, lots of tables and booth, televisions all over the place. Don’t forget the huge bar that centers action. I will return back to the Orlando Ale House. Next time I will drink an alcoholic beverage.

Enjoying my night out and a trip to Ale house always delivers. The drinks are good as usual and the staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered the seafood platter with baked potato which is a no Brainer for quick hot comfort food. Drinks are good and the vibe is relaxed

ZINGERSSSS!!! This is really the only reason I come here and I am ok with that. It’s a sports bar broken into a few rooms, main dining, bar area and porch/bar. There are TVs everywhere and they are pretty good at requests if you want a game on and it’s not on near your table. It’s quite loud in here so be prepared. Zinger Mountain Melt — I go for the extra sauce Honey Mustard Zingers and it comes piled over crispy fries and smothered with melted Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and green onions. YASSSS! Their service is hit or miss, like for real. Sometimes I get mad, sometimes they are on top of it. Their sweet tea is the JAM! Seriously, get the Zingers! Also, if you want to splurge, splurge… Captain Jack’s Buried Treasure: ice cream cake with Oreo cookie crust, caramel, chocolate fudge and Heath Bar crunch. YES!

While on vacation, my mom was craving steak. Thus, we decided on this place. We ordered a medium well steak and the steak was extremely hard to chew! We also ordered ribs and it was so dry we had to order an extra side of BBQ sauce. In addition to the food, the service was a bit slow. Our waiter barely checked up on our table and we always had to desperately look for him.

We have been to Ale House numerous times but I won’t be coming to this one again. We wanted to go here for a work reunion, since we use to go after work at universal. The first thing we encountered was a rude, unsympathetic hostess. We told her we had about 15 thinking we would just go sit at 2 high top tables. She stated all our party needed to be there before she could seat us. We looked around, the place was empty! So after some arguing we just asked for a high top for the 4 of us. After she seated us she promised that she would not seat people right around us but use the other high tops first. Well she lied! They sat everyone right around us expect for one table. Luckily some more of our group came and we just kinda took the table. She ran over and was yelling about the table when my husband casually reminded her about our group. Her reply, «oh I forgot». The food was typical ale house food, we actually enjoy it. It came out right away and it was correct and hot. The only other issue was that the waitress tried to force extra shots on us. We had all ordered a few and she brought more and blamed my husband on ordering them. He had done no such thing. She then tried to charge us for it. I had her remove but I was still disappointed. I won’t be going back to this one at all!

I visited during SpookyEmpire/Mayhem weekend. You’d have thought that it was going ot be packed, but it wasn’t. There were seats open, there were tables free, and yet the service was slower than hell. I think our waiter, Anthony, was new. Either that or he was extremely intimidated by people wearing skull face paint. He seemed to lose his voice when he saw my 2 table mates who were in skull makeup. He literally got cotton mouthed and could not speak. Twice he got our drink orders wrong, When the food came out, my fries were cold, my vegs were cold. but the steak was hot. This tells me that it had been sitting there a while. Other people at the table also experienced the same thing. Their sides were cold, and the lone appetizer came out at the same time as the food… which took a good half hour to come out. When it came time for our bill to come to the table, he messed that up 2x as well. The 2nd time we told him We’d figure it out as we had places to be. There’s really no excuse for this kind of service in a tourist area. They should really be going after the tip with great service. but nope not here. This place needs to close. it’s pretty sad.
