the worst resturant and serive I have meet! Strongly not recommend this place! The food is so hard to eat, even the Coke is with water! And mandatory charge tip! There is a paper on the receipt and say world” no tip included. Other people who don’t know English may be give the twice tips! 千万不要来这里吃…难吃 还贵!

I don’t like buffets, so it’s my fault for eating here. While in Orlando on vacation, my mother convinced me to have breakfast at Great Western Steaks & Buffet. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew I should have said no. It’s an old place with a very small selection of food. The woman who rang us up was not very friendly, so I was already not enjoying the experience. I went up to the bar with my plate to check-out the food. The bacon was swimming in grease, the fruit was room temperature, there was liquid in the pan of eggs… I didn’t know what to eat! I picked some bacon that escaped the grease and one hotcake. As I was eating my food, I noticed kids at the bar eating directly from the trays. Now, I know this is no fault of the restaurant, but it definitely ruined any chances of me finishing my food. I immediately stopped eating. I would’t recommend eating here.

I don’t understand about the bad reviews. Maybe a bad timing on a wrong day. The staff here are friendly and the food is very Delish. Very flavorful and I can’t pick a favorite coz it’s all good. If you’re tired from all day having fun at wet n wild or somewhere else, this is the place to binge and be happy.

This place has rude employees, food salty, nasty filthy bathroom. They ask for tip before you even eat the food or sit down. Will never eat there again. Do Not even deserve star.

Looking for a hearty meal after a flag football game late at night around 10 pm. So I go where most restaurants are open late… I-Drive. So driving around slowly looking like a tourist I weed out buffets because they usually close early until we see this Great Western AYCE Buffet of course. My Girlfriend Runs in and runs out and says they open til 11. For 12 bucks a head it was loads and loads of meat for someone like me looking for GAINZ. Selection wasn’t huge but looked good to me. Upon walking it was like a golden coral set up. The cashier up front was very nice and friendly and asked the question that everyone in” touristville” ask. Where you guys from. Surprised that we were locals explained more about their buffets such as breakfast and lunch which we will def go again to. Our server Vicky had already set up our table so we didnt have to walk around and look just grab and go. And when I say sit up I mean the table had everything dinner plate desert plate all kinds of silverware. The Service was A++++ As soon as a plate was done she grabbed it and my water was endless never hard to suck my straw to make the«im thirsty» sound. I had every meat on the buffet, meatloaf, ribs, chicken, carne asada, sides were plenty I do recall since my plate was full of meat. Everything was great especially for the price I’m not complaining. Again I dont give higher than a 3 star for buffets but for the service and food it goes above and beyond. Soft serve machine with chocolate and vanilla and swirl was also a bonus. They also had nuggets and fries for kid friendly options, Full salad bar and soups. I recommend this place to anybody. Service was great make sure to leave a tip!!!

Listen. This place is not horrible. I have been here about 12 times in the past 3 years. For what it is, they have good fresh food. All buffets have food that has been sitting for an hour or possibly more. That’s a risk with any buffet. I have never gotten sick from the food here and always leave full. I like it because they cook their beef well done. I don’t want half done beef sitting around. The wait staff is always helpful and nice too. If I ask them to make a fresh dish, they will either make me a small plate of my own if it’s not busy or they will put a whole new one on the buffet. The dessert cake is home made and the icing too, tastes delicious. They have spaghetti and stuff which I just think they should replace with other meats. All the meats here taste great to me, they just need to not jump into making other national foods. And stick to making meats and sides that go with them. But overall for the price and refill rules, I almost never need more than 2 refills which are free. So in reality you get 3 drinks. The first fill up and 2 refills. If you drink soda like a fish, yeah you will pay for em. But most normal people do not drink that much soda in 35 – 45 mins of eating. Place is clean overall, it’s just an old building. But like I said, food is good, people are nice and I never have gotten sick as many times as I have been here. So try the place out. It’s a buffet. You want class, go down the road and eat at Charley’s steak house or something and you can pay 60 – 70 a person. Otherwise, this place would be fine.

I don’t usually write a bad review, but the service here was just short of horrible. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, the food was edible I guess, or I might have been really hungry. Too bad I have to leave one star review otherwise I’d give it a zero star service.

Service was very friendly. Food is what you would expect for the price. Easy affordable for a family dining experience.

Only plus is they are open late. If you have any other options go there. $ 2.19 per drink with a sign warning that you only get one refill. We didn’t get out of the park until after 10pm when everything else was closed, or expensive. Some dishes were good, others not, but all cheap fare. Almost forgot to mention, my daughter ordered water, and they charged me the same price as a soft drink for a glass of ice water, not bottled.

It was ok. What can you expect for a $ 4.00 breakfast. This is breakfast on a budget.

The food was ok, but the entire time we were there they never brought any fresh food out so all of it sat there under the heat lamps for around an hour. Also my girlfriend and I noticed that at 6pm(dinner time) we were the ONLY ones in there… Wish I would have had Unilocal before we went there… Good friendly service though!

This establishment has no right to use the word«great» in their title. This is super cheap low budget cafeteria buffet eating. We got there at the end of breakfast and the start of lunch so we were able to pick at both breakfast leftovers and lunch as it came out. The food I had filled me up but was reminded much of hospital grub at best. However I must say that the ladies that work there are very sweet and friendly people and took very good care to see you had everything you needed. The service was excellent, the food was mid-grade cafeteria food. So if you have a group on a tight budget and you don’t mind guessing which kind of meat you are eating covered with heavy sauces, you will love this place.

Sorry but this was the most disgusting place I have ever been too. My boyfriend and I couldn’t even identify some of the slop that they disguised as «food.» What a shame. We were so grossed out that we only ate the salad and ice cream and rushed out.

You definitely get what you pay for here! It isn’t the cleanest of food joints, or it doesn’t have the nicest food. If you love steaks and aren’t too fussed where the meat comes from then this is for you! Staff are great here, very friendly and helpful.

Located on the strip of restaurants, Great Western Steak is a small diner size joint with a little corner of buffet eats. I suppose you can’t expect too much from a $ 10 buffet… so for the price it was decent. We left full, but definately have experienced better. The staff was great and attentive. Paige, our server, made sure we had everything we needed and even accomodated our special requests like… lemon and honey for my hot tea and honey bbq sauce for my friend. There was a lot of meat, so if you’re a meat lover you will enjoy the ribs, roast beef, beef stew, pork loins and roasted chicken. The fixins are just ok. Thanks anyway Great Western!
