I’ve always seen the Golden Corral commercials on cable, but have never been to one since there is none in Cali. So when we were in Florida and saw one, we just had to try it since their commercials looked pretty good. We were actually there on Thanksgiving Day so I can’t vouch if they served the same food offering throughout the year. For the price of $ 14.99(dinner), the offerings were pretty dang good. They served decent steak, turkey, ham, fried chicken, ribs, pizza, pastas, salads, ice cream, cake, cotton candy, etc… Let’s just say the offering was pretty abundant for the price we paid. Much more superior than the Hometown Buffets in Cali… no comparison. I would have given 5 stars if not for the rude bakery attendant that refused to give me a slice of pumpkin pie. Tried not let that ruin my experience. But everyone else there was great… especially the waitress who cleared the plates for us. Too bad our friends had to fly back a day earlier and didn’t get to try it. I would say, it’s a must try!

Just don’t do it to yourself. The atmosphere is dead, the food is less than subpar, not worth the price. I’m struggling to find even half a redeeming factor here. Please do yourselves a favor and not go to this sad place. You’re gonna get the itis and not feel good about it. Not a meal you’re gonna want to remember. Trust me when I say chick fil-a or Dennys would be doing yourself a huge favor.

One of the largest buffets I have had. Kids loved it. Price was moderate. Most of the food was marginal at best though

So… my 2 is for the food. But I’d give 5 for the staff. These ppl work in a high stress atmosphere and still manage to give you a smile, hello and have a good day. I haven’t been to a golden corral in 18yrs. But on xmas across the country you eat what you can. On Christmas it was insanely busy, personally I don’t know if I could’ve managed a shift like this. However there entire staff and I mean everyone was still polite courteous and professional. So KUDOS to the staff at this crazy busy location. I hope your manager sees this review. You all deserve a raise!

Never ate here, would have loved to but my family showed up before the 4 o clock deadline for lunch. we stepped out for one second to decide and when we came back they insisted on charging us dinner prices at 4:03 pm. We asked them if they could do anything about it but they were rude, impatient and it seemed like they were also being mildly discriminatory, aka if we were white they would have clearly been far more helpful. So yeah, pretty shameful.

Like other Golden Corrals around the states this location has the same such as chicken, corn, steaks, drinks, salads and desert bar. Plenty of seating for any size of amount of parties in your family group.

This location should get no stars! You walk into dining room and the smell is bad. Get past the smell and the food tastes like school cafeteria food. The place is dirty. Not worth 5.99 let alone 13.00 for dinner. They in a high priced area serving nasty food. What a shame for the visitors of Orlando.

I cant believe this location has won so many awards. Old food that’s never changed, rude staff, and dirty tables. No thanks. The steak was terrible. Yeah it was over cooked and I can live with that but when you bit into a huge chunk of fat & tendon… and then another… and another… until you realize the whole damn steak is one giant crap shoot?! I’ve been to a couple golden corrals and FL has the worst ones.

Well, trying to see something good and cannot find nothing. Direct to the point — service is bad and rude. Server treated me like s@&t, thats was i said — the guy serving and cutting sirloin, when you request a piece of meat he’ll look at you like he own the cow — food quality low, salty, no flavor etc — no is not cheap deal If i will return again Hell no! You have much better options around, check Unilocal reviews!!!

Unsanitary. Crowded. Unorganized. Messy. Short staffed. The plates and utensils were dirty. Flavorless food, all of it had absolutely no seasoning. Hands down worse place I’ve ever eaten at, and not all golden corals are bad. I’ve been to other golden corals before but it’s this one specifically that is just disgusting. Very disappointing, especially when your tired and hungry from walking in the parks all day.

I’ve been to Golden Corral several times throughout my life. Unlimited food/drinks, messy presentations(at times) and reasonably priced. Not much to say; I like the food on my last visit, but my group didn’t really care for it at all. But hey, they got good cotton candy and dinner rolls, so I’d say check this place out. They also sold breakfast all day. So I thought that was cool.

My in laws, my boyfriend and I stopped here yesterday after we landed at Orlando International. I had not been in a Golden Corral in about 4 years so I was looking forward to it. First off the restroom was DISGUSTING, I know not to expect much from public restrooms but it could have been better than what it was. Our waitress was very attentive but I wish they had someone attending to the restroom just as much as she showed up to our table. Now lets get to the food … Hands down the fried chicken was the best thing I put on my plate. I would consider broccoli second best but my first batch was great then the second batch I had was raw. The cauliflower was also too raw for me. As far as dessert I didn’t have anything other than a Rice Krispies treat, Im not huge chocolate and pastry person so I skipped out on that. Hopefully Ill have a better experience at another location.

Where do I begin. Tasteless food: powdered mashed potatoes, pasty pasta, hard rice, nothing had flavor or salt. Even the pudding had a gross taste. Only good thing about this place was their prices. I’d rather eat at Hometown Buffet or Fast Food.

This Golden Corral is a definite tourist attraction, therefore it is quite crowded. However, food was pretty good for it being Golden Corral. I was just impressed by the unlimited cotton candy! Woohoo

The food was Mehhh tbh. I’d let it of it was cheap but it isn’t, I found the ponderosa to be less expensive and better quality but that’s my view. Didn’t like the plastic plates. And meat loaf was terrible!!! The wood grill is so much better, even though one of the staff from woodgrill said they are turning it in to a corral ;(boooo… But on the other hand the desserts was nice! Good selection… Actually a lot of selection, so if your more of sweet person come here, more of savoury person go woodgrill!!! And if you like both. Woodgrill. Ha!

Mixed reviews from our large family group who dined here shortly after arriving in Orlando. Some of us, including me, loved it. Others, not so much. I guess it depends upon what you get. Highlights included the Mac and cheese, fried chicken, roasted asparagus, and black eyed peas. Folks didn’t seem to like the mashed potatoes or the breakfast very much(we arrived as brkfst was ending and lunch beginning, so got to try both). I cut some slack to buffet restaurants when dining with a large group because they have something for everyone. Golden Corral in Kissimee was reasonably good overall, and quite good if you factor in the low cost.

I love Golden Corral and this is a pretty decent one. Although it’s a chain buffet, different locations can be better or worse than others. This one is right in the middle. It’s located along a very hot tourist corridor so it’s always busy no matter the time of day, which means a higher turnover of food which equals fresher food since it’s constantly being replenished in the trays. This location has a weird layout which results in long bottlenecks at most of the stations. It’s reasonably clean for a Golden Corral and there are lots and lots of big tables in the dining area(great for families and large groups). Plenty of parking too. Be sure to pick up a free coupon book in the lobby for 10% off your purchase(but ignore those«tourist information» people in the lobby, they are trying to sell you tickets and timeshares).
