The Flip Truck

I had the pesto fries. I’m a big fan of pesto, and i must say this pesto is fresh and full of flavors! I was really impressed with the food and the service was just as great! Definitely recommend this truck

Salty.
That’s really how I would describe everything. Their Ahi sliders, their Kobe sliders, their JFKs, their fries. Everything was very salty.
It’s really too bad because the burgers were cooked well and were juicy. Everything was just WAY too salty.
I’ll give them another chance if I see them again.

Unreliability website dates & times. We have shown up three time now, twice the truck left early & today they didnt show up at all. We follow the flip truck because they have great sliders but now, were over it

Awesome dinner for 2 for 20 dollars! The fries were addicting and the BBQ bacon sliders were unique and delicious! Super friendly service as well. Will definitely be back!

I booked The Flip Truck for an annual event at my boyfriend’s store. Through an email, Heidi (owner) said she was so excited to make a special slider for our Paris flea market since she had visited her sister in France at least a dozen times over the past 3 years. Sounds good, right?!
I sent a confirmation email a few weeks before the event, but I never heard back. When I looked on her website and saw that she had us scheduled, I figured that was good enough.
I guess not! She might make really, REALLY good sliders, but her customer service is really, REALLY HORRIBLE! The day of the event, it was 45 minutes past her scheduled arrival time. I called her phone, left a voice mail asking if she was still coming and to give me a call. Never heard back. Found out she went to a different location!
We were left with 500+ really hungry people who were expecting The Flip Truck since we promoted it on our Facebook and email that week. SO unprofessional and really, REALLY rude!

I loved the vegetarian sliders. A great mix of flavors and the chimichurri fries were great. The fresh sourdough bread really made it an awesome slider. Have to give 4 stars cause the service after ordering took a long time.

Flip-​n Awesome Truck!
I am flip-​n crazy for this truck. Who doesn’t like burgers in bite sizes?. I tell you who NO ONE! IF they say they do they are lying!
I had a chance to try this truck as a consultant work event. I think we had about 5 different styles to try. I was hooked. From the soft bread to the flavorful kobi beef to the grill cheese and let’s not forget PB&J. ALL MAGNIFIQUE!
The owner and other ladies are super cute and friendly and will come out and chat with people given they are not swamped with orders. Each slider comes with fries but I really didn’t want them. I’d rather just try all the different options of sliders they have.
I’ve seen them driving up and down the freeway on the way somewhere and I wish I could trail them.
I’ve only had the change to eat from them twice but I have not seen them in a very long time. Being that they are on wheels they are not in the same location all the time. But once again they have a website so I can try and track them down.
At the time they were only a OC track as LA county has different rules and regulation food trucks must follow. Leave it to LA to be difficult. But it’s been awhile so they might have gotten there license to roam the streets of LA. If you see them stop by and try a slider. This truck is great for lunch that won’t have you in a food coma afterwards or in the fetal position under your desk taking a nap.
I hope to find them again and stop for some Flip-​n sliders!

The Food was pretty good but they lag on the service. I Love, Love, Love food trucks and have eaten at the flip truck a few times and have every time had the same issues. The line was 15 minutes and then it was another 15 – 20 to get my food. I watched others go to the surrounding food trucks at the same time as me with the same amt of people in front of me and they were out of the line and had their food before I even got to order.
Now don’t start and say it is because it is all fresh because most of the trucks are that way. There is something about the fact that It takes 15 minutes to get 2 sliders and some fries when others do it faster and better. I understand there are other options but I wanted to make sure it wasn’t a fluke the first 2 times. Well three strikes and you are out.
The food is ok. Nothing to write home about and while the pesto fries are pretty good they are not great. If you are in the mood for sliders I recommend Burnt Truck if they are around.

I am current addicted to finding and eating off food trucks. I have tried most of the trucks here in OC and i can honestly say that this is my favorite truck as of today. Finally tried The Flip Truck for the first time and was very impressed with the quality and taste of the sliders, fries and even the truffle ketchup. This proves again that quality ingredients is the most important aspect in making great food.
Most food trucks are not cheap as most of you know. But some serve food that is completely worth the price… and this would be one of those trucks. It was actually the first time I went back to the truck after finishing my meal and told them how much I enjoyed the meal.
If you’ve never tried or are still skeptical eating off one of these trucks, i highly recommend trying The Flip Truck. Its one of the best (quality) that I have tried.

There were three of us. We all got something different and shared, so i got to try a little bit of everything. And oh my goodness, its all so good! These ladies even make ketchup better. Truffled ketchup, is that a regular thing, or was that another rare treat? Both chicken n beef sliders are great! If you love food you can’t go wrong anywhere on the menu. Cheers ladies! You’re awesomeness is showing… n its delicious.

The food was definitely good and the combo is awesome.
I got the tuna slider and the greek god burger. They both had great flavor to them. My one hesitation was my greek god burger was extremely rare… like I am not sure I should of eaten it but I still did and I was fine but it didn’t even appear to be cooked. Other than the undercooked slider everything was good. The feta tzatziki sauce was amazing, the tuna slider and the pesto fries were worth the extra $ 1.
I do wish they would warm up/​toast the buns as that would put them over the edge of yumminess.
If you are near this truck give it a try! The combos are great and so is the food.
I will defintely follow this truck and eat from here again.

If you read the rest of my reviews, you will notice I am a tough grader.
The Flip Truck deserves nothing less than 5 stars! Their staff are always very personable and courteous. But what sets them apart is their food.
Although it may sound simple, truly great good is made up of solid food profiles. They do a great job of this. Their sliders are always made with good quality meat and they use good quality, airy brioche buns. But then the food stuff starts!
Wine marinated onions, amazing sauces and spreads, great use of high quality cheeses like Brie, feta, aged cheddar and great blue cheese.
Today I ordered the sliders and said no fries and they substituted them with a salad. I figured I would just throw it away because it would have no flavor. But was I surprised. The salad and arugula, pineapple, tomato, feta, cucumber all dressed with a jalepeno citrus vinaigrette.
What definitely sets them apart, is the ability to eat amazing food and still make smart, healthy choices!

I really enjoy the sliders on The Flip Truck. They’re fresh and tasty! The ladies on the truck are super nice, too. :)
